Work Text:
Kirk had been summoned to sickbay by McCoy.
The Doctor standing in front of a bio-bed as if trying to hide something.
“Well, this.”
Bones revealed what was behind him. That of a Vulcan child.
“What the…???”
“We ran all the scans, Jim. It’s, Spock.”
The kid, approximately in his early teens looked, well, snide, snarky and uncaring.
“Spock, I…”
“Is fine Cap, no worries.” Kid-Spock responded, his eyes everywhere else except on Kirk. “So, no need to have a cow man!
Kirk eyes wide glared at Bones. Willing him to do something about this, surly teen.
“I… will try to see what I can do.”
“Thanks, Bones.”
“Can I go now?” Spock snarked.
“I see no reason why not.” Bones told him.
Spock about to leave, Kirk stopped him.
“Do you… need company?”
Spock glanced Kirk from head to toe and back again.
“With an old dude like you… No thanks!”
And he was off, leaving a confused and slightly offended Kirk and a smirking Bones behind.
