Helene walked down the corridor with her chin up high. Agents stared at her as she walked by wondering who the mysterious lady was. She entered The Directors office and sat in the empty chair and faced backward to admire the painting.
Phil stepped in and cleared his throat. “Hello?” He asked.
Helene smiled at the voice and turned the chair around slowly.
“Hiya” she replied beaming.
Phil smiled at sight of her and she ran up into his arms. They hugged for a minute before pulling back.
“How are you?” Helene gushed, “You look amazing”
“I’m good thanks. How bout you?” Phil responded.
“Amazing, how’s mum?” She asked.
“Why doesn’t she answer for herself?” Phil teased as May walked into the room.
May dropped her jaw standing in shock before running and hugging Helene tightly.
“Omg” May exclaimed, taking a step back. She hugged Helene again. “How are you baby?”
“I’m great, how have you been?” Helene asked.
“I’ve been staying alive after your dad threw me back in the field” she chuckled.
Helene nodded her head lovingly at her parents before grabbing them both in a huge hug.
The door opened again and they broke apart. Daisy popped her head in the room before fully walking in not seeing the hug. “Hey D.C, Mel, agent…”
“Coulson” Helene finished. She stepped forward and extended her hand for a hand shake. “I’m agent Helene Coulson. You are..”
“Agent Daisy Johnson” Daisy said a little taken aback as she shook hands. She pointed at Phil before saying “You have a kid?”
He nodded saying, “We”
Daisy cocked her head left questioningly.
“We; May and I” Phil fixed.
Daisy's eyes bulged before dropping a stack of paper on the desk, saying muffled “that’s for you” and jogged out of the room so no one noticed the tears forming in her eyes.
“Who is that?” Helene asked as soon as Daisy walked out.
“That’s Daisy. She’s an inhuman, a vital part of our team, and our other daughter” May said.
Helene ignored everything except the last part. “Other daughter?” She asked shyly.
May nodded and looked at Phil. “Yes, she’s not biological but she is a part of our family” he said firmly but softly.
Helene nodded and asked if she could be excused. She left the room and headed to her car and just laid there thinking about what had just happened.
May followed Helene out the room but instead headed to Daisy’s bunk and knocked. “Daisy dear? Can I come in?”
The door opened and May walked in. Daisy was sitting on the bed trying to hide her tears. May walked over to the bed sat next to Daisy and comforted her. She stroked her back and played with her hair. “What’s wrong honey?”
“I didn’t know you had a daughter, I didn’t know I has a sister, and I didn’t realize I took her spot. She seems pretty cool but she probably hates my guts” Daisy cried into May’s lap.
“Aww baby. She won’t hate you. She will love you, I’m sure.”
Phil felt his heart tear in two. He should have told both girls they had sisters. He felt bad for Daisy because this was her non-biological family but now she is finding out there is a biological daughter and is probably scared she is going to lose her place. He felt bad for Helene because her parents, that she hasn’t seen in many years, have another daughter that replaced her all these years and got to spend so much time with them. He hated that he put them in these positions and was going to fix it.
EPILOGUE- TWO YEARS LATER
Helene and Daisy are now best friends and do everything together, from getting ready for dates
and mourning lost loved ones to going on missions. However a new factor joined the mix when May got pregnant and had twins named Jemma Fitz Coulson and Makenzie Elena Coulson. And add another factor when Phil and May get married and May changes her name to Melinda May Coulson and Daisy changes her name to Daisy John Coulson. Now there is four Agent Coulsons; Director Coulson, Agent May Coulson, Agent John Coulson, and Agent Maria Coulson.
