Chapter Text
Damp, cold, dark. Those were the three words they'd use to describe their surroundings. They were only a child maybe 12 or 13. Well they were supposed to be a child. The special collar around their neck prevented that though. Made them incapable of turning back from this form. From the chestnut brown wolf.
All they knew was it had been days since they had eaten; they were starving. They had done worse than lose. They had gotten out of the ring after killing their opponent. They had gotten out. Now they were being punished for their actions.
They whimper as the sound of commotion comes from outside. Ears perked up as they tried to listen and see what was happening. They snarl as a black haired man runs in followed by a blonde man and a bunch of others. He looks around before meeting their golden gaze. They bark a warning with pinned back ears. Their fur fluffed up as they attempted to look bigger or scarier though it didn't do much.
He said something they didn't understand and tried to get closer and they only snapped at his hand. The man continued trying for almost 10 minutes before giving a defeated sigh. A lady came in with dark colored hair and pretty eyes. She tore a peice of her clothes as the other people either left or covered their mouth and nose. A sweet smelling fog began to fill the room around them and they whimpered as they began to feel drowsy. They tried to fight it off. Tried to give a weak growl. But it didn't take too long before their eyes were closing involuntarily.
An alarm blared and Blake whined as they awoke. Ears lowered as they hugged a small wolf plush closer to them. It was a black wolf and had the same colored eyes as Aizawa. It was only a few minutes later when said black haired male walked inside the room. “Who's ready to meet my students?” He said with a small smile. Blake knew that even though their father almost always sounded tired or serious all you had to do was look into his eyes and you could tell what he was feeling.
They say you groggily. Rubbing their eyes as they yawned wolf plush still held in their arms. “Now I know this will all be new for you but I think it's time you come with me to work. You've caught up studies wise with my students and it'd be easier to take care of you if you were to just stay with me all day.” He explained as he held out two outfits. The school uniform or a purple shirt and black jean overalls. They thought it over. They knew either way which ever outfit they didn't pick would end up being packed in the purple dog themed bag Aizawa carried in case they regressed. They point at the uniform and smile. “I think I can be big enough. At least for now.” They say climbing out of bed and giving a big stretch.
They got dressed without a fuss and brushed their teeth and washed their face. They glance at the scans with a small whimper but before they could even think about picking or putting makeup on them theres a knock on the bathroom door. “Come on pup mic made your favorite.” They perk up at that. Forgetting about the scabs for now and coming out of the bathroom and following their adoptive father to the dining room where mic was setting up the plates. “Carob pancakes made special for a very special day!” The blonde cheered making Blake smile and chuckle softly. They'd always found it so humorous that two men who appeared so different on the outside were practically perfect for each other.
It didn't take long to eat as Aizawa made sure they ate all their food. And when finished he got up and led them from the set up on campus house. Blake had known the couple for a while now. Mainly Aizawa. He had been a big part of Blake's healing process when they had been saved from an underground fighting ring. He had taught them to talk, read and write. And then had even fostered them. By the time school had started back up they had been adopted. Though that didn't last long. None of their placements lasted long. They'd always end right back in Aizawa's care. And eventually he was officially allowed to adopt them alongside his husband Hizashi. Initially Blake was taught by Shouta and in online school. They also worked very hard to catch up with other kids their age as well. It wasn't long before Shouta started bringing them to work with him to start socializing more. They were sad when the group of students had graduated and was even sadder when with this new class their father told them to give it a few months first. And when their father was asked to move into an apartment in the school grounds they had come with. It was also decided that this was when Blake would meet these new students. And that was today.
They fidgeted with the noodle fidget Hizashi had given them to stop them from picking as the three of them started walking to the actual school from the twos shared apartment. Blake would be staying there until they caught up studies wise and then the attempt to move into the dorms would be made. The walk wasn't long and soon they were stepping into the familiar grounds of UA. Their tail giving a subtle wag as they said by to papa Hizashi and followed Shouta to his classroom. They'd never been in a the first year area. When he adopted them he had been teaching second years. They give a small whimper of nervousness as they neared the door into the class. They could hear commotion inside and Shouta just out a hand on their shoulder. “they can be a bit rowdy but their a nice bunch. Theirs even three other littles so you won't feel alone in that aspect.” Blake gave a small nervous nod and took a deep breath and nodded once more this time more determined. “Alright ready.” They followed their dad inside and the fidgeting began again as they realized all eyes were on them.
“Class I have someone special for you all to meet. This is my child. Go on introduce yourself.” He said noticing their hands getting very close to picking and grabbed one of the fidgets from his desk and gave it to them. They smiled softly at that before taking a deep breath. “Hello. I'm Blake Aizawa but j just call me Blake!” They say with a nervous smile. Their eyes caught on a particular student ,most obviously a little, sitting in a green haired boy's lap. Dad had been telling the truth.
“Blake will be sitting in on your classes and eventually will be integrating into your class at some point when they catch up with you all. Until then they'll be assisting me and working on their own work in the corner I have set up over there.” He pointed to a spot to the right of his desk which was just a beanbag and a small table. Blake took the hint and went to sit down in their newly designated spot and pulled out their laptop and started working on their own school work. They started zoning out then but it didn't take long before they needed help and looking around they realized their father had fallen asleep. They gave a small whimper and looked between the question and their dad. They hadn't even noticed when a blonde boy came over.
“Oof yeah that's a tough one alright. Need some help?” They gave a small squeak in surprise but then nodded. “You were in the right direction but you forgot to carry the exponent right here see? Try again.” He said with a wide smile. Blake with this new information did so and smiled as they got it right. “see not so bad. I sucked hard at math till I came here. If you ever need help me or the others are always open.” They grinned and gave a small yip before correcting themself. “S sorry erm thank you.” They said growing embarrassed and moving to grab their fidget.
“Don't worry about it. I'm Denki Kaminari By the way!” He said before giving a small wave bye and heading back to his seat. They gave a smile before going back to their online classes.
The rest of the day went smoothly. They helped their father out occasionally in class by passing out papers or writing stuff on the board and worked on their schoolwork. Lunch came and passed and they didn't go far from Aizawa too long. By the time the end of the day came they smiled happily as they followed their dad's back to the on campus apartment.
