It was a calming day at Barley's. There were few customers at the bar and Barley did his best to satisfy all of them , that's what good bartenders always do.
But as much as Barley loved his job he had to admit he tends to snap when things get out of control in his bar so he was glad that for once that there weren't any fights or rude customers , today was truly a perfect day!
That is until two well known musicians entered his bar.
One of them was Melodie , a famous kpop singer always hosting amazing concert all around the park and the other was Draco , a rockstar performing with a kight armor and his inflatable dragon.
They were really talented people and even tho they have two completely different musical styles they were really close friends and would often support each other on many aspects.
And also they're restless performers and would always do their best to make their fans happy with their music. They're good people truly.
But dear god if they were insufferable during karaoke.
It's kinda a routine for them , they must do this after a concert or just for fun , but in any case they would choose Barley's bar for this.
Mostly because currently his establishment it's the only one that has a karaoke set (even tho he heard that bull was considering to add one too and Barley hoped that he would too), but also because of the alcoholic drinks.
Surprisingly Draco rarely takes alcoholic drinks , and when he did he would always take beer.
Melodie on the other hand was the opposite...
There were many occasions where she would get drunk and singing at the top of her lungs during karaoke.
"Hey Barley it's nice to see you! Working hard as always?" Melodie said sitting at the counter while Draco was walking towards the stage.
"Good evening Melodie! I don't have many costumers right now so today it's been pretty calm"
"That's good to hear. Can we use the karaoke set like always? Me and Draco have added more song to our playlist"
There it goes his calm evening , but still he couldn't bring himself to say no.
"Sure you can use the set" he said as the tried his best to sound convinced.
"Great , thank you Barley!" then she turned around looking at Draco.
"Hey Draco! Do you want me to order you anything?"
"Nah thanks Mel , I'll take the opportunity to start setting my songs"
Melodie sighed "Alright but if you put Buddy Holly again I'm killing you!"
Barley of course didn't said anything out loud , but he agreeded with her.
"Anyway while he sets things , could you make me my usual shot of tequila?".
Ah yes , her classic twelve shots of tequila , how could Barley forget them?
"Coming right up!" as Barley poured the tequila he heard the first notes of Vicinity of Obscenity in the background , even tho he wasn't a System Of A Down fan he could recognize most of their songs since Draco would sings most of their discography.
After Melodie finished her tequila she walked towards the karaoke set and stated singing with Draco.
Even tho this happened many times Barley was still surprised to hear how Melodie was following the song , and sure mabye hearing a kpop singer singing "banana terracotta pie" was a bit silly they were both having a lot of fun , and that was Barley loved to see from his customers.
But even so he knew things would eventually excalate.
In fact they did.
All the people left the bar and they were the only three left. At this point Melodie was drunk at her tenth shot and was struggling to sing the lyrics of Die young while Draco took his inflatable Dragon out and was also singing at the top of his lungs while Barley prayed that he won't set anything on fire.
Which like it happened before but that's beside the point.
When the song finished , finally they turned off the karaoke set and payed for the drinks.
"Thank you always letting us use the set! The next time we're hosting a concert I'll make sure you'll get the best show you've ever seen! Right Mel?" Draco said while Melodie was half asleep leaning on his shoulder.
"Thank you Draco it's always a pleasure to make my customers happy" Draco smiled and they both exited out the bar.
Luckily this time they didn't make any damage and they were more tame than usual.
He knew that they will coming back for another night together but honestly he didn't mind that much.
Sure Barley will kick their asses for if they seriously wreck his bar , but at the same time he was glad that they found their own fun in this place.
As Barley finished cleaning the counter he found himself giggling "Oh oh , I sure hope next time they'll sing hot to go".
