Eddy stared impatiently up at the school clock, the seconds felt like minutes and the minutes felt like hours. After school today he would have exactly two hours to finish his homework and then run to the Cul-de-sac clubhouse. It’s where him and the rest of the Cul-de-sac kids met up every week for the past year, minus the summer days where they just all met up very single day. But that would change today because it was the last day of school. Eddy grew more impatient as he bounce the erasure of his pencil on his desk as it made a, Bump. Bump. Bump sound. “Ugh, anyways tonight if you do not mail in missing assignments those will be in your record forever.” The teacher says as the class anticipated the bell to ring as she then sighs again as the bell rings, “Class dismissed.” The teachers as students trampled over each other to get out the door and home. Eddy was one of these kids, with him running so fast that he ran into Double D knocking him over in the process as Double D scowls, “Eddy! You know we’re not supposed to run down the hallway like that it’s against the-“ Eddy puts his finger against Double D’s lip as he says, “Enough talk sock head, don’t wanna miss he bus do ya?” Eddy smirks at Double D knowing that he’s right. “I-I suppose we wouldn’t want that Eddy…” Double D says a little worried by thought of missing the bus knowing his parents would not pick him up. “Well then let’s go get Ed and leave this place!” Eddy then offers his hand to Double D, as he takes Eddy’s hand, Eddy pulls him up swiftly. As they both speed walk to Ed’s locker. Ed taking a random sandwich out of his locker as he takes a huge bite out of it. Ed had gotten taller he was even taller than Rolf now, although he still had his silly, goofy tone that he used.
