“Are you alright dear?” Puzzles heard Ruin ask as he flopped onto the couch. His screen showed a tired expression as he buried his head into one of the pillows on the couch. “I suppose.. It’s just that today's show didn’t exactly go as planned.” His voice was slightly muffled. Ruin hummed. “So I’ve heard. Is there anything I can do to help you feel better?” he asked.
Puzzles just shrugged. He was just very tired of basically everything at the moment. Ruin hummed once more and Puzzles felt him sit next to him. “Would you like to vent at all and I could listen? You don’t have to, but we could also cuddle if you’re up for it,” Ruin offered, placing a hand on his head.
He lifted his head from the pillow, looking over at Ruin. “The second option sounds more appealing at this moment.” The animatronic laughed softly. “I had a feeling,” he mused. With that, Ruin layed down with Puzzles, wrapping his arms around the other. “You’re warm, y’know that?” Ruin commented, tracing gentle shapes onto Puzzles’ back.
Puzzles hummed, shifting so he could take his head off so he didn’t damage the other. He gently placed it on a table near the couch. “I suppose it’s because I’m still technically human.” He wrapped his lanky limbs around the other as well. “Either way, that just makes you more huggable in my opinion!” Ruin said cheerfully, giving Puzzles a light squeeze to emphasize what he was saying.
Puzzles laughed softly. “Well, I’m happy you’re comfortable.” Ruin hummed and leaned over to his head, giving it a soft kiss. “As long as you’re comfortable, I am too,” he said softly.
They laid there in comfortable silence before Ruin suggested, “Think we could watch some musicals to take your mind off of everything?” “Uh, sure. I suppose that would be nice.” Ruin sat up and reached over for the remote to their TV. “Lovely! Now I’ve been meaning to watch this one musical where the main character is…” he started rambling a bit, providing a nice bit of white noise for Puzzles.
“Hey, Rune?” he said, interrupting the other’s ramble. “Yes, my dear?” he responded. Puzzles held him a bit closer as he said, “I love you, mi amor.” Ruin chuckled and said, “I love you too, Matthew.”
