Blackout poetry is a creative writing form that involves taking an existing text and creating poetry by selectively redacting certain words. The remaining words form a new poem, with the visual element of the blacked-out sections adding to the overall aesthetic.
his mouth always adorned with the most delightful smile
magnificent
his lips
his graceful attentiveness
the sound of his voice
his sparkling gentleness
his charms
this ineffable harmony held me in seventh heaven
in the contemplation of this attractive marvel
of nature
who laid before my eyes
fully absorbed as he was
he knew the pull of his charms
he savoured the sweetness they provided
