Andromeda gripped Narcissa’s hand tightly as lifted her chin. Her legs trembled as fear coursed through her but she refused to back down now. Ted was everything she ever wanted and she wouldn’t sacrifice their love for anything. Not even her father’s wrath.
“Are you sure?” Narcissa’s eyes searched hers.
“What would you give to be with Molly again?”
The blonde inhaled sharply, turning away from Andromeda’s understanding gaze. Molly and her had split when the redhead had discovered she had yet to break off her betrothal to Lucius. She had understood Molly’s reaction but that didn’t make the pain of losing her any less unbearable.
“Anything,” she confessed softly.
Andromeda nodded, “I’d do anything to stay with Ted. Even face father.”
“Are you scared?”
“Terrified.”
Narcissa tightened her grip on her older sister’s hand, “I support you. I might not agree with you, but I support you.”
Andromeda smiled, kissing her cheek, “Thank you.”
The two stared at each other for a moment before the elder Black straightened her spine, inhaling.
“Time to face the madness,” she whispered, before tentatively stepping into their father’s office.
