It was the last straw.
Candy took his last breath and Cirrus finally understood what Skylar meant.
He never knew what love was and now that everyone left him, including Candy, he would never truly know what it was to experience love.
Candy meant everything for him. His companion, his best friend, his baby, his love.
And now he would no longer know if it was the same kind of love Skylar was talking about. Because at this point, holding his only family lifeless in his arms, he knew that the future would be nothing but pointless breathing.
They all turned their backs on him after finally learning the truth of his actions. His father fixed his situation with money not even caring enough to talk to him personally, his friends letting him feel how disgusted they were because of the stunt he pulled, and Skylar, deleting his existence from his sight.
No one stood by his side and talked to him about how to process whatever he was feeling.
That it was not okay to manipulate the people around him for him to isolate Skylar.
That it was not okay to be that way towards Skylar.
That it was not okay to have that kind of strong emotions for him.
That it was not okay to truly open up about yourself because the other person might use it to deepen your wounds.
That it was not okay to feel bad after being taken advantage of because someone would use it to exploit your vulnerability.
That it was okay to be hit, to get beaten too.
That it was okay to be verbally attacked with the person you trusted the most.
That it was okay to be thrown away by your father to another country because you caused a disturbance to his peaceful life.
That it was okay to be left alone.
Cirrus was left alone with his thoughts, feelings, emotions, because he was old enough to know them. That he was okay with everything that had happened and happening around him.
It was the last straw and with no one to be there with him, there was no one stopping him from doing anything whether it was right or wrong by their standards.
Cirrus was tired of clinging to the people, of wanting hope, that finally he was finally part of something else.
Because in reality he wasn't even worthy to look back to.
And he truly believed it was okay...because he /was Baek Cirrus.
