A Night in the Hangar

Summary:

Three people sleeping together. Nice in theory, but in practice... Well, it's still nice, but nothing's perfect. Especially when it's cold and you only have one blanket.

Work Text:

It was a cold night. Maybe day. Most of the Étoiles Noires had lost track, so they just slept when they had nothing to do. Cristal felt a breeze on her legs and tried to grab the blanket to cover herself.

After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and saw Sadia had wrapped herself in it. Of course she did. Johnny, in between them, was half covered and still sound asleep, Cristal could hear him snoring quietly.

She tried pulling on the blanket lightly, trying not to wake up the others, but it was not moving. She would have to move Sadia a bit, and considering she was a light sleeper, just waking her up and asking would be better.

She reached over Johnny and started tapping Sadia's shoulder, while whispering.
"Sadia. Sadia ?"

She heard her groan and hoped she wouldn't be mad. Well, not too mad. She was usually in a bad mood if someone bothered her in her sleep. Actually, she was in a bad mood quite a lot of the time.

Sadia opened her eyes and muttered something Cristal didn't understand but guessed was either complaining or insulting her. Could also be both.

"Hey, sorry to wake you up like this, but can you move a bit ? You stole the blanket."

Sadia rolled her eyes
"Ugh. Really, just for this ?"

"Yes, just for this. I'm cold and I'd like to sleep."

"Well guess what, I'd like to sleep too, so good night."

Sadia turned her back to Cristal and closed her eyes. The blonde considered fighting her for the blanket, but she didn't want to wake Johnny up. And Sadia was normally pretty good at fighting, but a pissed off Sadia ? Cristal wasn't afraid of her, but she wasn't stupid or suicidal. Also, she would rather not fight her girlfriend in the middle of the night.

She tapped Sadia's shoulder again and whisper-screamed.
"I know you're awake. Sadia, come on ! Just share the damn blanket !"

"Alright, fine."
She unwrapped herself and let go of the part of the blanket she was holding.
"There, do you want me to tuck you in and give you a little forehead kiss or is that enough for you ?"

Cristal grabbed a side of the blanket and covered herself. She wondered what would happen if she said yes, but preferred to just go back to sleep.
"I'll be fine, thank you."
