Work Text:
It was a mild evening, and the sky was as clear as the Alster glistening in the moonlight.
The shooting star was so magnificent and slow in its flight that it seemed to stop for them, only to take their wish with it.
Sophie closed her eyes and sighed as she felt Leander's arm around her. Was there anything else she could wish for when she had everything and more than she'd ever dreamed of?
His voice was just as soft as he whispered into her ear. "Make a wish, dear."
She smiled and leaned into him. "I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because I've made this wish so many times. And it's finally been granted."
"And what is that? If I may ask, that is."
Sophie could feel his excitement and she was happy to appease his wonder. She opened her eyes and took his hand as she looked up at him. "It's always been you."
