It was nearing midnight, and the soft glow from Wooyoung’s bedside lamp bathed the room in a warm light. San lay on his stomach, one arm draped over Wooyoung’s stomach, his breathin steady and comforting. They were nestled together under the blanket, enjoying the peace that came from simply being in each other’s presence.

Out of nowhere, Wooyoung stirred, looking down at San with an excited glint in his eyes.

“San-ah,” he murmured, his voice soft but laced with mischief.

San hummed in response, his arm shifting slightly as he looked up at his lover.

“Hmm? What is it, love?”

“I’m craving snacks,” Wooyoung pouted, giving San his best puppy-dog eyes.

“Can you get me some?”

San chuckled, his fingertips gently tickling Wooyoung's belly.

“How can I say no to that face?”, he said, smiling as he dragged himself to sit up.

“Alright, I’ll go grab us some snacks,”

he said, eyes still half-closed as he reached for his oversized tshirt draped over the nearby chair and threw it on.

But just as he got out of bed, Wooyoung tugged on his sleeve, stopping him.

“Actually… I want to come with you! Let’s go on a little late-night adventure together,” he beamed, eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Okay, baby,” San laughed, pulling Wooyoung up from the bed.

“Only you would get this excited over snacks in the middle of the night.”

Wooyoung chuckled, reaching into his wardrobe and picking out two matching caps. He put one on his own head and handed the other to San.

“Put this on, Sanni. I don’t think others will find your bed hair as cute as I do". Wooyoung ruffled San’s hair and adjusted the cap on his head, backwards, with a chuckle.

“You know I don’t care what anyone else thinks of me, Woo. You’re the only one that matters to me",  San’s voice softened, reaching to gently lift Wooyoung’s chin, planting a soft kiss on his lips.

“Oh,” Wooyoung’s eyes widened at the sudden touch, then he quickly recovered, flashing his usual flirtatious smile as his cold palms slid under San’s shirt, pressing against his warm skin to pull him into a tight hug.

He followed it with a kiss on San's cheek—something San always loved, no matter when or where.

Soon, San pulled the car out, and Wooyoung buckled himself into the passenger seat, sighing happily as the cool night breeze drifted through the open windows.

“Which store do you want to go to, Woo?”, San asked, adjusting the rearview mirror.

“Can we go to the farthest store?”, Wooyoung asked, sneaking a glance at San.

“I just want to be with you like this a bit longer.”

San felt his heart melt at Wooyoung’s sweetness. Without saying a word, he reached over, entwining their fingers, and brought Wooyoung’s hand to his lips.

“Okay. As you wish,” he murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of Wooyoung’s hand.

They shared a smile, lingering in the quiet warmth of their love as San drove through the empty streets.

Every now and then, Wooyoung would sneak a glance at his boyfriend, admiring the way he looked—one hand resting casually on the steering wheel, eyes focused on the road ahead.

“What’s up, love? I can feel your eyes on me,” San smirked, making a turn, smoothly rotating the steering wheel.

“San-ah,” Wooyoung murmured, voice low.

“You look so hot when you drive like that. All focused and serious.”

San raised an eyebrow, glancing over with a playful smirk.

“Oh, is that so?”

“Mm-hmm,” Wooyoung replied, feeling his cheeks warm.

“Especially when your other hand always ends up right here.”, He pointed to his own thigh, exactly where San’s other hand was resting—right on the hem of his shorts, exposing the matching tattooed letters, shared by both of them.

San’s smirk deepened as his fingers moved, letting his fingertips gently brush over Wooyoung’s tattoo.

“It’s my favorite place to rest my hand,” he admitted softly, his thumb tracing over the ink.

“It makes me feel safe in a way that words can’t describe.”

Wooyoung’s heart did a little flip at the sweetness of it, though he managed to keep his teasing tone.

“Gosh, look at you, all sentimental! Who knew my boyfriend was this romantic?”

San laughed, giving his thigh a light squeeze.

“Only for you, Woo. Only for you.”

Finally, they pulled up to the convenience store. San grabbed a cart, and Wooyoung, ever the mischievous one, pulled out his phone, immediately hitting record to document their “Midnight Snack Adventure.”

He started narrating every little thing San did as if he were the star of a reality show.

“Alright, everyone, I am Wooyoung and here we have my handsome boyfriend, Choi San, on his late-night snack mission,” Wooyoung said in a dramatic whisper, pointing the camera at San, who was pushing the cart with an amused smile.

San gave a small wave to the camera, playing along with his adorable lover’s antics.

“Hi, viewers!” he chimed, dropping his voice to a mischievous tone as he flashed a peace sign.

“Tonight, we’re on a top-secret mission to satisfy my boyfriend’s uncontrollable midnight cravings. And yes, it’s as dangerous as it sounds. Would you dare to join me?”, San added, leaning into the cart and pointing dramatically at the camera.

Wooyoung stifled a laugh, whispering.

“Shh, keep your voice down! We don’t want anyone stealing our snack strategy,” he said, looking around like a soldier on a mission, his laugh barely contained.

San cocked a brow, leaning closer to Wooyoung’s camera and speaking in a hushed tone.

“You’re right. People would do anything to get their hands on these chips.”

The few shoppers scattered around the store threw curious glances their way, but San didn’t care. He continued playing along, grabbing a bag of chips and some popcorn, holding them up to the camera.

“Now, this, ladies and gentlemen, is one of Wooyoung’s finest selections. If you buy this exact brand of chips and popcorn, you can get away with anything with this boy over here—no matter how hard you’ve messed things up. That's the TMI of the day~,” he added with a wink at the camera, making Wooyoung snort.

“And here we have the boyfriend who complains but secretly loves going along with all my crazy ideas and cravings,” Wooyoung narrated dramatically, zooming in on San’s face.

“Look at that smirk. Look at those focused eyes and that little pout. Pure devotion!”

San laughed, shaking his head.

“I’ll admit, I’m a little whipped. But only for you, Woo.”

Wooyoung’s face softened, but he quickly covered it with a teasing grin, keeping up the act.

“You heard it here, folks! This man has officially declared his devotion on record,” he announced, raising his arms in victory.

They continued wandering the aisles, collecting snacks and getting distracted by each other’s antics. Eventually, they ended up in the drinks section, where Wooyoung picked up San’s favorite cola, holding it up to the camera.

“And here we have the boyfriend’s fuel!”, Wooyoung grinned, holding out the drink for San like a trophy.

"Thank you, baby!”, San took it with a grateful smile, putting it in the cart before reaching for the camera himself.

“And here we have Wooyoung, the most adorable snack-monster boyfriend you could ever wish for",  he teased, lightly poking Wooyoung’s cheek.

“Always dragging me into trouble, and I still love it.”

Wooyoung grinned, switching the camera to selfie mode.

“You heard that too, right? My boyfriend is whipped for me,” he said, leaning over to peck San’s cheek on camera.

They continued their little adventure through the aisles, occasionally stopping to feed each other bites of chips and popcorn or sips of cola, sneaking playful glances and laughing. Wooyoung captured it all on video, his heart swelling each time he caught San’s fond expressions.

It was well past midnight when they headed back to the car, arms filled with snacks and small bags of groceries. As they reached the car, Wooyoung noticed San stifling a yawn.

“Sanni, you look so tired. Let me drive", Wooyoung insisted, taking the keys from San’s hand before he could protest.

San sighed, a grateful smile spreading across his face.

“Thanks, love. But don’t speed, hmm?”, he whispered drowsily.

“Anything my passenger princess says~”, Wooyoung winked, playfully twirling the car keys as he settled into the driver’s seat and secured his seat belt.

“Whoa, it sounded like you’ve been waiting your whole life to use that line, huh?”, San chuckled, securing his own seat belt.

Wooyoung leaned over to San’s ear in playful mischief and whispered,

“Maybe I have, my princess”

He giggled before leaning back to start the car.

“Can you not…”, San whispered, sparing a glance at his boyfriend, a little smirk tugging at his lips.

“What, Sanni?”, Wooyoung asked, his voice laced with curiosity.

“Making me fall in love with you every day. You’re too precious~", San sighed, resting his head back against the seat, his dimples deepening as his hand came to rest gently on Wooyoung’s thigh.

“Nope, sorry! No can do, baby! My charms are for you and you only~",  Wooyoung chuckled, lacing his fingers briefly with San’s.

“I thought so~”, San murmured, his eyes drowsy as he gently squeezed Wooyoung’s hand.

The drive back was peaceful, with only the soft hum of the car and the rustle of shopping bags in the back seat.

When they stopped at a red light, Wooyoung reached over, gently running his fingers through San’s hair.

San’s eyes fluttered closed, a soft, almost purring sound escaping his lips.

“That feels so nice…”, he murmured, leaning into Wooyoung’s touch.

Wooyoung bit back a laugh, unable to resist teasing him.

“Are you secretly a cat, San-ah?”

San cracked an eye open, a playful smile tugging at his lips.

“Yeah, but only for you

By the time they got back home, San was barely keeping his eyes open.

Snacks forgotten for the moment, they headed straight to Wooyoung’s room, slipping under the covers and picking up right where they left off—with San’s arms wrapped snugly around Wooyoung.

Wooyoung nestled into San’s embrace, his voice a soft whisper in the quiet room.

“Thank you, Sanni”, he murmured, looking up with a sleepy smile.

“For always going along with my random adventures. Even in the middle of the night.”

San pressed a gentle kiss to Wooyoung’s forehead, wrapping his arms tighter around him.

“I’d do it a thousand times over,” he whispered. “You’re worth every little adventure, every late-night craving, every little moment of my life.”

Wooyoung’s eyes sparkled as he snuggled in closer.

“I love you so much, Sanni.”

"I love you too, my Young-ah," San murmured, brushing a soft kiss on Wooyoung’s forehead.

Soon, in each other's arms, they slowly drifted off to sleep, held close in warmth and quiet love—a promise they had vowed to cherish until the very end.

-The End-
