Rio vidal had taken a couple from this life but saw they had a one year old girl she stared at her "Hello little Elizabeth...it's not your time yet my dear" She said sounding almost sarcastic but a touch sincere, she kneeled to the infants level and it reminded her of Nicolas and Agatha "She doesn't love me anymore.....it hurts as much as knowing I hurt her" the baby just stared at her and Rio got an idea and picked her up "I know the place for you"
Agatha hadn't gotten out of bed in days not to eat or clean or drain witches of their power and life when she heard a knock she ignored it until it had been consistent "ALL RIGHT!!"
She got up and opened the door to a baby girl with blonde curls and green eyes she stared at her "Oh baby" she picked her up "Where's your mama?" Showing an uncharacteristic amount of kindness when she saw Rio.
Rio walked away disappearing and Agatha realized what had happened "You are not a replacement for nicky" she looked at the child who smiled at her.
"But....I guess having a side kick isn't a bad idea come now.." she saw a piece of paper with a name "Elizabeth....Elizabeth scra- harkness Elizabeth Harkness"
TEN YEARS LATER
"MAMA!!" Agatha woke up and stretched "Is that my little girl?" She said while yawning and seeing the child run into her arms.
"Mama! Mama! Guess what today is!"
"Hmmm is it a school day?" She said playing dumb
"NO! MAMA!"
"Is it Samhain?"
"No"
"Well I don't know then"
The girl looked like she would cry
Agatha said "Now could it be your birthday?"
The child's face lit up "It is mama!"
Agatha got up and went to make food "And your what five now?" She asked still playing.
"I'm 11!"
"11!? Now that's a big deal! Are you my big girl now?"
"I am!!"
She smiled this was nice like Nicolas "Now birthdays do mean Brussel sprouts and chores all day right?"
The child looked horrified "No it doesn't!"
"Oh no that's presents and sweets! Silly me!" She smiled
"Silly mama!"
"Now go play outside lizzy okay? Mama has to get everything ready for her big girls big day, and today no witch hunting"
The little girl ran outside playing with the plants when she saw a woman in green "Hello!"
Rio smiled "Hello my dear" She kneeled down in front of the girl
The girl handed her a plant "It's so yummy!"
"Sweet girl....that plant is poisonous"
The girls smile faded "What?"
"Oh my dear" She held the child's face in her hands "You did nothing wrong, do you understand? It looks like the safe one"
The girl was crying "I can't leave mama"
"Oh don't worry my child" she gave a sad smile "I will make sure she is never alone"
The girl nodded "Can you tell mama I love her?"
Rio nodded and stood up holding out her hand "Come your big brother is waiting"
The girl went with her
Agatha went looking for her "Lizzy! Mama has everything ready! Lizzy? Elizabeth?" She started to worry when she saw it her little girls body on the ground by the the plants she ate
NO! MY BABY!" She ran and cradled her little girl sobbing "No my sweet girl! Oh my poor lizzy" she cradled her like she did when she and Nicolas were babies.
Her tears streamed down on the girls hair "Mama's not mad baby...I promise I'm not mad....I'm sorry my baby"
She buried yet another child singing the ballad as she did, it was right next to Nicolas's grave.
"My children....I'm so sorry" she said before going home where she found yet another bundle of joy.
She found a note that said "Elizabeth said she loves you she and nicky are playing together" he tears fell on the paper as she looked at the baby.
A little brown haired child looked up at her a new born, she picked them up "Hello....luna" she held the baby close and saw Rio leave yet again "Wait rio!" Rio was gone.
"Please......look after my babies...."
