Maddie
I came out of the room, slightly adjusting the costume that I was wearing.
The werewolf costume that I was wearing was something that I had been looking forward to, it was Abigail’s first Halloween after all and I wanted to show her what it was like. “Abigail, what do you think?”
I asked her softly as I hesitated than did a small twirl for her and she smiled in excitement.
“Wow, you look beautiful!” She paused, confusion entering her voice “But why are you dressed like that?”
As I began to explain, she nodded and went to our bedroom, coming out with a sheet that she threw over her head so it covered her body. “Boo!”
I giggled softly, pulling her close. “I love you, Abigail.”
She smiled. “I love you too, Madison.”

Morgan
I watched Tara put the finishing touches on her Capelobo costume as I finished my own Dover Demon costume. She had been researching the Brazilian anteater cryptid in preparation for another Taranormal episode in the future, and we had both been practicing our Portuguese.
It had been my idea to both go as Cryptids this year for Halloween and she had enthusiastically agreed to it before I had even finished speaking. Which was very much like Tara.
As we left our bedroom and stumbled across Maddie and Abby in the living room the sprung apart. “No need for that, Mads. If you wanna hug your gay ghost feel free. I like the werewolf costume! Way better than that movie creature you went as a few years ago.” Tara barely breathed as she spoke.
“Tara, they’re Films… you know what never mind. Are we going or not?” Maddie exasperatedly sighed before she offered a smile and looked at the clock. “It’s almost seven and the party starts at eight.”
“Yeah! It starts at eight!” Abigail echoed.
“We can just show up at seven forty-five!” Tara thrust her arm in the air as she proclaimed this.
“Tara, it would be better if we showed up a bit early…” I whispered and she nodded. “Hmm, you’re right…”
