*Knock knock*
Izuku jumps at the sudden noise that seemed to come not from the door, but from the window across from it. He turns to see a floating Ochako holding a small box right outside of the window, waving happily.
Izuku walks over to the window to unlock it and let her in. She carefully steps inside, whispering a small “Release!” to return to the rules of gravity.
She turns to him and smiles, “Didn’t realize you locked the windows.”
“I’m a little paranoid of students sneaking in randomly.”
“That’s happened before?”
“Yep…” he nods tiredly just remembering it. Ochako figured the story must’ve been a long one, but she can wait to hear about it another day.
“Why are you coming through the window though?” Izuku questions.
“I figured it’d be better this way than getting swarmed by students.”
“Ah, right.”
“Anyway…” she starts, opening the small box she brought with her. “I brought onigiri for us to snack on!”
Izuku takes onigiri from her gently, placing the little box on his desk. He turns back to look at her, placing his rough hands on her squishy cheeks before smashing his lips onto hers. Ochako lets out a surprised squeal, returning the passion no less.
“Izu… ku” she mumbles in between kisses, “What if,” he kisses her lips, “a student,” again, “comes in?” and again.
“They’ll knock.” he affirms for a split second, before diving right back in. It was no more than two seconds after Izuku makes his confident assertion does the door fly open and Kota’s met with the burning image of his teacher and his Pro-Hero girlfriend lip-locking.
Izuku and Ochako jump off each-other immediately, faces red in their embarrassment of being caught.
“Kota! You’ve never heard of knocking?!” Izuku sputters.
“How was I supposed to know I’d see you two swapping spit?! I don’t knock like, 99% of the time I visit your office and it’s never been a problem before!”
Izuku cringes and pinches the bridge of his nose, “Please don’t describe it that way.”
“How else am I supposed to describe it? That’s literally what you two were doing.”
“Yes but-“
Kota puts a hand out in front of him, “Respectfully, Mr. Midoriya, I’m gonna stop you there.” he takes the papers he was holding in his other hand and places it on Izuku’s desk. “Here’s those papers you needed. Which, need I remind you, you asked me to bring to you today.”
Izuku smiles sheepishly, embarrassed at the fact of that slipping his mind so easily. Ochako’s quick to hold back a laugh, amused at the situation unfolding before her.
“Ah… Thanks, Kota.” Izuku surrenders, knowing he didn’t have a rebuttal. This was entirely on him.
“Don’t mention it.” Literally, Kota thinks to himself. He takes a bow to both Midoriya and Uraraka, “It was nice seeing you again, Ms. Uraraka. I hope I can see you again in a more… appropriate situation next time.” he says, and that elicits a loud laugh from Ochako. She always did appreciate Kota’s sense of humor.
“I’ll have to let Mr. Midoriya know about that.” she responds cheekily. Kota and Ochako are giggling while Izuku hangs his head in shame. They were totally making fun of him.
The laughter dies down as Kota takes his leave and shuts the door.
…
“So, ‘they’ll knock’, huh?”
Izuku sighs, taking his suit jacket off and hanging it over his chair. “I know, I know. That was dumb of me.”
“I wouldn’t say dumb. More…. careless, if you will?” she says with a smirk and a tilt of her head.
“Same difference.” he says, taking a seat in his chair.
Ochako simply giggles in response. She looks ahead of her and sees the position Izuku’s in. He’s slouched back on his chair, his legs wide with his head leaning back, eyes shut.
“Y’know, I’d totally take a seating on that lap of yours but I don’t want any more student surprises.”
Izuku perks up, getting off of his chair and rushing to lock the door. He turns back to see a very amused Ochako, tickled at his tenacity.
“Better?” he smiles and returns to his seat.
She laughs, walking a short distance over to take a comfortable seat on his lap.
“You seem very needy today.” she says, wrapping her arms around his neck and shoulders and resting her head on top of his. Izuku wraps his arms around her waist, holding her close.
“I just really miss you.” he admits, relaxing in her warmth.
Ochako pulls her head back to look at him curiously, “Miss me? We see each-other every day, don’t we?”
He nods, “Yeah. But for brief moments most days. I miss being able to spend entire days with you. And I mean often.”
Her lips form a tight line, she thinks to herself for a moment. “The weekends coming up soon, isn’t it?”
“Yeah?”
“We can do something then!”
“Don’t you have work?”
“Yeah, but I can get someone to fill in for me. Shouldn’t be a big deal.” she shrugs. “We can go somewhere for the weekend. Or stay in, I don’t really care. Just as long as I get to spend time with you.”
Izuku smiles wholly, a pretty pink dusting his freckled cheeks as he takes the time to appreciate the beautiful woman in front of him. He sometimes couldn’t believe she was real. She was so perfect in so many ways that never even in his most wonderful dreams could he conjure up something as incredible as she was. His Ochako Uraraka. His best-friend in the whole wide world.
“That sounds more than amazing.”
She smiles with excitement, playing with the curls on the nape of his neck. “So… You wanna stay in or go somewhere?”
“It’d be nice to get out of town for a little while, I think.” he says, rubbing the small of her back. Ochako shivers under his touch.
“I agree. We could go down to Hokkaido. I heard it’s beautiful in the Spring there. Or Tochigi. I’ve always wanted to visit that flower park.”
“You already know what I’m going to say.”
She giggles, “Lemme guess… You’re happy going wherever I go?”
He snuggles his nose against hers, her nose scrunching up cutely. “You know me so well.”
She continues giggling while kissing all over his face. His eyebrows, his forehead, his scarred cheek, his nose, his lips. It’s times like this where the two young adults felt like teenagers again.
Their little love-fest calms and she’s back resting her head on top of his, their eyes shut as they relax in one another’s touch.
…
“That flower park does sound pretty nice though.” Izuku says.
“You read my mind.”
