Chapter Text
After some reflection, Victor decided to go to the beach. Not to swim or anything but just to spend some time outside even with his layers of clothes in the warm weather. He crouched down to pick up a shell in the sand, it was quite beautiful and had an intriguing sound as well. While entranced by the shell, there was a wave approaching Victor. He seemed to be unfazed but when the water splashed against him and it wasn’t just seaweed that washed up on the shore. There was a mermaid, well, actually a merman. Victor shook the man who was in deep sleep, he realized that he would most likely not be able to wake him up. Victor laid the man on his back and made sure he was still breathing, it felt a bit awkward but he just wanted the best for that man. He was beautiful, he had pale skin, a slender body, sparkling scales, and the most attractive face. Was it odd of Victor to be staring so much? Probably, but he couldn’t help it, that merman was just so interesting as Victor never believed in mermaids or anything regarding fantasy. He noticed the guys hair was going in his eye and brushed it off, while Victor’s hand was still on the man’s face, his eyes opened. Victor froze in shock until the mysterious man spoke, “Why is your hand on my face?”. Victor removed his hand off the man’s face immediately. “I apologize. Are you okay?…”. There was a moment of silence while the man checked himself to see if he was physically well. “I think so. Who are you?”. He tilted his head with curiosity. “Well, I’m Victor. Who are you?”. The man scratched his head trying to remember what his name was, “Ah…I’m Andrew.”. Victor tried to think of a conversation starter and before he could think fully the words came out of his mouth, “Your name is quite nice.”. Andrew looked the other way and smiled awkwardly, “Thank you, Victor. Could you help me get out of here now?”. Victor’s eyebrow raised and looked at Andrew up and down before he spoke, “How would I help you?”. He moved his body closer to Victor’s and asked, “Could you bring me to your home?”. Victor felt slightly obligated to take him so he did. He helped Andrew get off of the shore and into his home.
