It had been a relatively quiet day at the Yukito Flower Shop, where Yodonna, one of the former generals of Yodonheim, had been working out of for some time as a florist. By that point, she had become accustomed to her new, peaceful life on Earth, along with her human emotions. Her most recent customer, a wedding planner, recently had her bouquet fulfilled, waving to her goodbye as leaves.
“That’s another bouquet request fulfilled.” Yodonna tells herself. “Now I wonder if there are any more.”
And then, all of the sudden, a new customer entered the flower shop, and it was someone who looked familiar to Yodonna. It was Shiguru Oshikiri, who she mainly knew as Kiramei Blue. It was her first encounter with him, or any of the Kiramagers for that matter, since her death at the hands of Emperor Yodon, as neither Juru nor Tametomo were able to see Yodonna due to her being a ghost during that time. Not only that, the former never knew that she had possessed Kakihara during the maid cafe investigation.
Shiguru was naturally shocked to learn that Yodonna is alive, but maintained a sense of composure as he ordered a bouquet he could give to his staff members. Yodonna then fulfilled this request with a smile, something that ended up leaving Shiguru confused more than anything else.
After her shift was over, Yodonna was hit with a realization. For all the things she did when she was still under Emperor Yodon, along with the Kiramagers never knowing about her initial death, she had come to terms that, much like Carantula, she is no longer as evil as she once was.
Staring at the starry night sky, with her ice cream at hand, Yodonna had decided to make amends with the Kiramagers. However, she wonders if they could even accept her apologies. After some thinking, however, Yodonna considered that the best way to make amends was to get to know them as people. And so, Yodonna had set aside plans to meet with each of the Kiramagers, starting with Shiguru, as she had encountered him at the Flower Shop earlier.
The next day, Shiguru was on set filming a new drama alongside Rikako, who had starred in one of his previous projects. After filming had wrapped for the day, Shiguru received a letter from Yodonna. To his surprise, she called him by his real name rather than by his Kiramei Blue alias. Naturally, Shiguru is trepidacious, given what she had done to him previously.
Still, Shiguru pressed forward. But just as he was about to leave the dressing room, Yodonna had suddenly showed up at the front door, scaring the normally cool Shiguru something fierce.
“What are you doing here, Yodonna?!”, yells Shiguru. “And why were you standing at my door?”
Yodonna, unable to find the proper words, asked Shiguru if he had any spare time. When he asked why, Yodonna says she wants to make amends for all the things she did. With some reluctance, Shiguru went along with Yodonna, taking her to the Mizunohiroba Park.
Shiguru was still in doubt about Yodonna, however. He recalled about the time that she used Numajo’s mask to poison him, which forced him and Tametomo to find a way to destroy said mask. It was because of this that he had to keep his guard up. However, it became clear to him that, with the way she smiles, along with her clearly having fun, that the Yodonna that he’s currently with may not be the same Yodonna that he and the rest of the Kiramagers fought long ago. But regardless, he was still suspicious.
“So, you work as a florist now?”, asks Shiguru.
“Yes.”, replies Yodonna. “And I’m now content with my new life here. How have you been doing?”
“Well, shooting for the most part went well.”
Shiguru also noticed that Yodonna is far calmer than she previously was, and is clearly far more emotive. That’s when he asked…
“Yodonna…”
“Yeah, I know.” She seemed to have caught on to what Shiguru was about to ask. “I was granted a second chance in life after learning about human emotions.” Shiguru’s eyes were now wide open. “Also, I’ve been watching your dramas as of late.”
“Really?”, wonders Shiguru. “It’s not often someone openly admits to having watched the movies and dramas that I starred in right to my face.”
“Well, yeah.” As the two got to know each other, Yodonna began to notice that Shiguru was nice to her, even if she poisoned him once. One long conversation led to another, and now Yodonna was ready to pose the question that had been in her head.
“So, Shiguru, after all this time…”
“I’m listening, Yodonna.” The two then settle near a bench.
“Will you forgive me after everything that I did to, not just you, but to the rest of the Kiramagers?”
Shiguru was still hesitant, finding it strange that someone like Yodonna was apologizing and trying to make amends. And that’s when it finally hit him. He now realized that Yodonna is her own person now, rather than the secretary and the facade of Emperor Yodon that she originally was, which explained why she was a far more emotive person compared to before. “I guess this is why she’s doing this…”, he thought to himself.
After coming to terms with the situation, Shiguru accepts the apology, and subsequently became friends with Yodonna, evident by the fact that he gave his contact number to her.
Yodonna then breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that she had finally made amends with her former enemy. But then again, she still has Sayo, Tametomo, Sena, and Juru to contend with.
The following morning, as Yodonna was waking up, she had received a text message. It was unmarked, but it told her to meet them somewhere.
“Hi, Yodonna. Sorry if I’m bothering you at this time. If it’s alright with you, we’ll meet later at the park.”
Confused by this message, yet still curious, Yodonna went to the park. This was how she discovered that the message came from Rose, the former leader of the bank robber gang she had met a few months ago. She seems to be a lot more cheerful compared to before.
“How have you been, Yodonna?”, asks Rose. “I hadn’t seen you since I and the rest of my gang turned ourselves in to the police months ago.”
“I’m fine, Rose.” Naturally, Yodonna was confused as to why she’s here. “Come to think of it, how did you and the others get out of prison?”
“If I remembered correctly, it was mostly for parole.”, recalls Rose. “But I guess being put in the slammer finally gave me inner peace, and allowed me to start all over again.”
“That’s good to hear.”, assures Yodonna. “So, where are you working now, Rose?”
That’s when Rose pulled out a pin in the shape of the Abaranger emblem. “I’m now working at the Dino House!”
“The Dino House?” A bemused Yodonna asked. “I’m not overly familiar with that place.”
“Don’t worry, Yodonna.”, assures Rose. “You’ll get to know the place soon enough.”
Yodonna wasn’t particularly used to this more cheerful version of Rose, but she had reminded herself that Shiguru wasn’t used to seeing her being clearly emotive. Still, considering how genuinely happy Rose is, she would support her either way.
Afterwards, Yodonna now wondered who she would make amends with next…
