“Perfect day for skipping rocks!” Sonic said, picking up a smooth stone and tossing it in his hand.
“Let’s see who can skip the most!” Tangle chimed in, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Silver smiled, his telekinesis already at the ready. “You’re on! But Blaze and I have a few tricks up our sleeves.”
Blaze smirked, crossing her arms. “Just don’t underestimate our skills.”
They all found their favorite stones and began the competition. Sonic was the first to throw, sending a rock skimming across the water. “One! Not bad, huh?”
Tangle giggled, grabbing a rock and launching it with a flick of her wrist. “Two! I’m catching up!”
Silver focused, using his powers to lift a rock and give it an impressive toss. “Three! I think I’m in the lead.”
Blaze stepped forward, choosing a flat stone and throwing it with precision. “Four! Don’t forget about me!”
As they continued, friendly banter filled the air. Tangle and Sonic cheered for each other while Silver and Blaze exchanged playful jabs.
After several rounds, they took a break and sat on the grass, watching the sunset.
“Okay, so who won?” Tangle asked, grinning.
“Definitely us!” Sonic declared, throwing an arm around Tangle.
Blaze chuckled. “I think we all won. It’s not just about the scores.”
Silver nodded in agreement. “It’s nice to spend time together like this.”
