The sun shone brightly in a small park, where the gentle sound of rustling leaves and chirping birds created a peaceful atmosphere. A young boy called Izuku Midoriya sat on a swing, his knees pulled up to his chest, quietly doodling in his sketchbook.Despite the laughter of children echoing in the distance, he felt more comfortable in his own world of heroes.
Just then, a small voice broke through his concentration. Hey! What are you drawing?
Izuku looked up to see a girl with brown hair in pigtails and bright eyes staring at him. She wore a cheerful smile that lit up her face.
” I’m Ochaco Uraraka. I'm new here. What are you drawing? What is your name?”
“Oh! Um, I’m Izu Izuku Midoriya” , he stammered, surprised by her sudden appearance. “I’m just… drawing heroes.”
“Heroes? That’s so cool!” Ochaco exclaimed, her eyes wide with interest. She leaned closer to get a better look at his sketches. “Can I see?”
"¡Sure!" he replied, a little nervous, hoping that she didn't think that it was creepy like Kacchan and the others . As he turned the pages, he explained each hero’s quirk and what made them special.
Ochaco listened intently; her enthusiasm was infectious and Izukus grew his confidence.
"They all look amazing! "she said." You really know a lot about them."
Izuku felt warmth in his chest. "Thanks! I want to be a hero one day, a hero like all might."
"¡Me too!" Ochaco said, bouncing on her toes." I want to be a hero who helps people smile!
"If I don't mind asking, what is your quirk?” she asked.
And with that question , Izuku started panicking ( Dont talk me quirkless loser, haha a hero you are just a Deku) (she probably will stop talking to me…..)
"Hey, are you okay?” she asked worriedly. “I made you uncomfortable?”
“No, I have never had this fun in a long time, it's just that Im Im quirk… quirkles and people tend to make fun of me so is undertable if you don't want to be my friend i'm just Deku ”
“ Hey, you know, Deku It sounds kind of like you can do it! I don't care if you don't have a quirk, your notebook It's amazing you are really smart and fun. You will be a great hero with quirk or not , so don't pay attention to those idiots!”
Izuku looks speechless; nobody, not even her mother , despite loving her so much, didn't believe in him, and this girl that he just met today said the words that he always wanted to hear, so he starts crying.
Izuku blinked, feeling his throat tighten with emotion. No one had ever said anything like that to him before. “Thanks... no one’s ever really said that to me.”
Ochaco looked at him, her expression gentle. “What do you mean?”
Izuku hesitated, looking down. “Sometimes... I feel like nobody really understands me. They think I can’t be a hero because I don’t have a quirk.” He could hear the familiar taunts echoing in his mind words he’d tried hard to ignore. “It’s like... they think I’m just some Deku who doesn’t stand a chance.”
Ochaco placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Then let me be the first to say that they’re wrong, Izuku. And if anyone doubts you, they’ll have to answer me!”
He looked up, seeing the sincerity in her eyes. "Really?" he asked, a hint of hope in his voice.
"Absolutely," Ochaco said with a firm nod. "Heroes aren’t just about quirks—they come from here." She pointed to her heart. "And you’ve got a hero’s heart , Izuku ."
Izuku’s face softened, and he felt tears welling up in his eyes. No one had ever believed in him like this, and hearing it from Ochaco made his chest feel lighter.
"Thank you so much. You... you don’t know how much that means to me."
“Don't worry about just to make you know my quirk is zero gravity so I can send to the stratosphere anyone that makes fun of you hehe.” she said smiling.
“That's a really cool quirk but you don't have to do that haha, just thank you for being here...He said smiling the tears started to stop.”
“So say, Izuku , let's be heroes together!” she exclaimed.
Izuku looked up to her and smiled and said,."Yes, Ochaco !”
After a moment of comfortable silence, Ochaco looked around the empty park.
“Wanna play a game? Just the two of us?”
“Uh, what kind of game?” Izuku asked, curious.
“Let’s pretend we’re heroes on a mission!” she suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“We can rescue someone in trouble or save the world from a villain!”
Izuku’s heart raced at the thought. “That sounds amazing! Okay, let's do it!”
They quickly transformed the playground into their adventure zone. Izuku pretended to be ALL MIGHT while Ochaco took on the role of thirteen.
Together, they navigated imaginary obstacles, leaping from swing to slide, shouting out their heroic declarations.
“Look out, villain!“Ochaco shouted as she climbed to the top of the jungle gym.
“We’re coming to save the day!”
Izuku followed her lead, scaling the jungle gym with determination.
“You can’t escape us since I'm here!” he declared, mimicking the voices of his favorite hero.
The afternoon flew by in a blur of laughter and make-believe. They concocted wild scenarios, saved imaginary townspeople, and defeated imaginary villains, all while sharing their dreams of the future.
Izuku is imagined as the symbol of peace, a hero that is everybody's inspiration.
Ochaco thought her power allowed her to lift anything, including entire buildings, to rescue those trapped inside a rescue hero.
As they played, they began to weave their own histories, creating a rich narrative filled with challenges and triumphs.
“Let’s say our arch-nemesis is a villain who can steal our powers!” Ochaco proposed, her voice filled with excitement.
“We’ll have to team up to outsmart him!”
“Great idea! We can use our teamwork to defeat him!” Izuku replied, his imagination running wild.
They couldn't stop playing and creating new sceneries.
“What if our villain can turn invisible? We’ll need special goggles to see him!” Ochaco says.
“And maybe he has a secret lair under the slide!” Izuku responded.
As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, they finally collapsed onto the grass, out of breath but full of joy.
“That was the best!” Ochaco said, looking over at Izuku, her eyes shining. You’re a really good hero!”
Izuku felt his cheeks flush. “You were amazing too! I had so much fun today.”
“You know, I feel like I can be a better hero just by being around you."Says Ochaco while blushing a little.
“And I feel braver because you believe in me. We’re a great team!” Izuku responded happily.
“Can we do it again tomorrow? she asked, her voice hopeful.
“Definitely!” Izuku exclaimed, a big smile spreading across his face. ”I can’t wait to play with you again!”
“Next time, let’s create our own hero team name!” Ochaco shouted
As they ran together, the stars began to twinkle in the sky. The day had been special, filled with laughter and the bonds of friendship.
With a renewed sense of hope and excitement for the future, they made a pact to meet every day, promising to turn each encounter into another chapter of their heroic adventures.
Little did they know, the memories they were creating would become the foundation of their unwavering friendship and maybe something further at the same time that they grew into the heroes they aspired to be.
