Smoke filled the sky, red embers painting the violet sky a crimson color, screams of fear and terror filled the air.
“They’re from the Dark Kingdom!”
“R-run!”
Amongst the chaos two siblings ran through the burning village “E-Ena!” a boy exclaimed as his older sister held onto his hand tightly, her grip unwavering “it’ll be ok!” she yelled back trying to reassure her younger brother when suddenly a house cut their path off.
“Where do you think you're going?" a man with a cruel smile questioned the two siblings. Ena pulled the young boy towards her as she shot the man an angry glare. The man raised his sword above him causing her eyes to widen "no!" she screamed as shielded her brother. As the man swung the sword down it bounced off as a light pink barrier blocked the attack taking the man of guard. "A magic user..."
Ena pushed Akito behind her before stretching out her arms shielding him.
“Run! Akito!” Ena screamed "E-Ena!” Akito exclaimed “Hurry up and get out of here!” she screamed. Akito’s eyes widened as he stepped back before turning away from his older sister and running away, just like Ena had instructed him to do…
Akito sat up a startled gasp escaping his mouth, his olive green eyes wide as a bead of sweat ran down his face. He stared at the cealing for what seemed like an eternity before sitting up, doing his best to calm his nerves.
It was all a dream
"Damn it…” he uttered pushing back his messy orange hair. Suddenly a loud knock echoed the small room “Akito! Come on or we’re gonna be late!” a voice exclaimed “Yeah, yeah I hear ya” Akito responded, pushing his covers off him. He opened up his closet, a neat knights uniform hung neatly in the wooden closet. Akito quickly slipped on the blue and white uniform before styling his hair making sure no strand of orange hair stuck up, he then equipped his sword onto his waist before leaving the small room.
Ready to see what the day had in store for him.
