Pain.
Indescribable mounts of pain rushed over Jevin like tidal waves of an ocean, as he laid in his bed, pillow in-between his legs and wincing as he felt so much pain.
Of course, the reason for this pain would be explained by the abdominal cramping that he was experiencing right now, and these cramps made him feel like he was completely unable to move out of bed. He felt too weak to even sit up, and when he tried moving, his movements would be uncoordinated due to the trembling his legs were experiencing.
He hated that this would happen once a month for a solid week, but this time was different. He couldn't even leave his apartment right now, as he felt completely awful and was in so much pain. It felt like his body was immobilized as any movement- even a small shift in his position in his bed- would cause immeasurable amounts of pain. And he hated every second of it.
He didn't know why his cramps were so bad this time around, but it was definitely painful to deal with. He felt trapped in his own bed, having to endure the pain of his cramps alone, as he wasn't able to even reach his bottle of ibuprofen without wrapping his arms back around his stomach and whining.
It was awful, and he couldn't do anything to stop his cramps until he was able to at least reach the bottle of ibuprofen on his nightstand. The nightstand wasn't even that far away from him, but in this current state, it felt like his nightstand was a million miles away from his position on the bed. Every time he tried to reach for the bottle, he felt so much pain in his body. It felt like he was being punched over and over right in the gut, nonstop by some invisible force, and he couldn't control it.
No amount of tossing and turning could relax these cramps, and he felt like he was either going to faint or throw up if these cramps continued. His head felt heavy with stress and his eyes were red and puffy from crying, that's just how awful the pain was. He didn't have the strongest pain tolerance, and this was only proving that statement to be further true. He just felt so weak, so helpless, and so much pain.
He grabbed the pillow that was in-between his legs and pulled it closer so he could hug it more comfortably, remaining in that position on the bed as he closed his eyes and managed to somehow fall asleep despite all this cramping he felt. He'd clean up any blood that leaked onto the bedsheets later, right now he needed a way to escape the pain, and sleeping was the best resort right now.
