Clank!
Ajax threw a now empty plastic plate in the sink before wincing at the sound of it hitting a few cups.
He'd have to add new cups to the grocery list.
"Come on, who even curses another guy's food? If he was going to do that, he should've at least been better at cooking!!" He tossed the soda in the fridge in the trash bag the ghosts were holding.
The ghosts nodded along as Grim hauled over his cans of tuna. While they were the least likely to be cursed out of everything in the kitchen, Ajax didn't want to take chances, so everything had to go.
This kitchen was going to be as empty as it was when he first moved in.
"Yeah, it was pretty bland.." Grim said as he one by one tossed out the tuna.
"And not very filling.."
"It didn't look filling," the taller ghost commented, with the other two ghosts agreeing.
After all the food was tossed, Ajax washed every dish that had been in the fridge at the time at least three times to try and get every ounce of Vil curse off there as possible.
His arms felt like they were going to fall off by the time he was finished with them and he still had to go shopping..
He opted for a nap instead for a while.
When he woke up, he began budgeting. He had 25,900 thaumarks, so he needed to spend wisely. They needed to buy quite a bit since it'd likely be cheaper than buying food at the cafeteria for all three meals every day.
"Still need to fix the AC and heater...that'd cost about 9,000..but let's make it 10,000 just in case, leaving 15k for food..tuna costs like 20 thaumarks a can normally, but the big packs cost 120, so we can get one of those.. the rice is fine..need to buy hot sauce though, and chicken nuggets...and some veggies..parsnip..peppers..beef.." Ajax mumbled to himself as he wrote down all the math for it.
"Okay..I think this'll leave me with...13k? No no, that can't be right.."
He eventually got the math figured out and after cleaning the fridge, he put the perishables away and started to make some rice and spicy chicken for him and made a tuna sandwich for Grim.
He left out some food for the ghosts, he didn't know if they could eat it, but left them some just in case. They were a big help during winter break, and this was their thank you along with a hot chocolate.
