it was early morning on the isle the sky was slightly cloudy giving a gloomy atmosphere. The tiny bit of sun that shown through the barrier crawled its way up to the windows of the hell hall mansion into the room of ivy de Vil shining on the two people sleeping soundly; Ivy woke up looking groggy. " Fuck my head." she said as she was holding her head in her hands. she reached for the bottle of pain pills on her nightstand. To her surprise there was no bottle shit she thought where the hell could they be. Ivy felt the person next to her shift in her sleep. Ivy smiled as looked over at her girlfriend with her brown and purple hair covering her angle face.
Damn she's so cute ivy smirked as she leaned down kissing her forehead. Claudine shifts a little bit but did not wake up. I should get up and find that God damn pill bottle this hangover fucking sucks. She moves from the bed as quietly as she could as not to wake up her partner. I'll be right back love she whispers to the sleeping girl. leaving the room, she grabbed her pack of cigarettes and glasses on her dresser.
Ivy stepped out into the deathly quiet hall of the creepy mansion spooky she thought with a slight laugh. she tiptoed down the stairs as to not wake up the possible sleeping residents. She didn't think she heard anyone coming in last night but she was pretty drunk so who knows. she continued her trek towards the kitchen where she knew her aunt kept some headache medication.
walking into the kitchen opening all the cabinets searching for something to make this hangover disappear. Finally in the last one she found the pill bottle. "Fuck yah!" she screamed not caring if she woke anyone up. Pulling the bottle down she twisted the lid to open it up causing her face to create a sour expression; shit she thought as she looked at the empty bottle. Fuck she says I guess I'll have to get more shit I didn't feel like leaving the mansion.
Ivy kept staring at the empty bottle she didn't hear the quite footsteps of someone coming up behind her. Claudine walked and wrapped her arms around the waist of her girlfriend leaning her head against her back. Ivy smiled as she turned around to face the slightly shorter girl "Morning angle did you sleep well"? Claudine looked up at her with her emerald, green eyes shining through her purple bangs shaking her head sadly yes. Ivy looked confused "what's wrong love you seem sad"? She waits for a response form the girl in front of her. " I woke up and you weren't there I was worried". Ivy's heart melted as she lifted Claudine up giving her kiss. The kiss lasted a few seconds before Ivy smiled 'I'm sorry for worrying you do forgive me"? Claudine blushed shaking her head before hugging ivy back "Don't do it again".
Ivy looked at her angle smirking "deal". kissing Claudine's cheek "You hungry? I can maybe find something eatable around this shitty kitchen". Claudine shook her head not really hungry she whispered. we could go see if any of the shops have anything to eat if you would rather have that". ivy suggested instead. Claudine just shook her head yet again not hungry. Ivy was starting to worry was something wrong was she not feeling well. "Hey, are you sure you're ok'? Claudine didn't answer she just kept hugging Ivy like her life depended on it. Ivy sighed ok I guess we will skip breakfast today she says as she pulls out the pack of cigarettes out of her shirt, bringing it to lips. "Want one"? Ivy said as she offered one to Claudine. Claudine looked at her before taking one "Thanks, got a light"?
Ivy reached into her pocket and pulled out a fancy zippo lighter to light hers and Claudine's cigarettes. The two girls sat on the counters while smoke circled around them Ivy then jumped off from, where she was sitting turning to Claudine who was still sitting playing with her necklace. " I have to stop at the Mims apothecary to get some headache meds, if Maddy doesn't have any I bet Harriet would have some. Ivy says as she starting to leave the kitchen to go get changed. she turned back to Claudine "Want to come"? Claudine looked at her jumping from her spot "Sure". grabbing ivy's hand following her up the stairs.
An hour later Ivy and Claudine were standing outside the mansion "Ready to go"? Ivy asked pulling another cig from the pack about to light it when, she noticed Claudine looking like she was lost in her thoughts. Ivy pulled the girl into her side "Hey, are you ok sweetheart"? Cluadine didn't say anything or a couple seconds before turning to Ivy "Yeh I'm ok but can I ask you something"? Ivy looked confused "Um sure what's up"? Claudine shifted her feet before standing on her tiptoes to kiss Ivy " I need you to make me a promise ok"? She paused before continuing " If anything happens to me, I need you to promise that you'll not give up". There was a pause before Ivy says, " what do you mean by that, nothing is going to happen to you".
Claudine took a breath before saying " Promise me Ivy please". Ivy looked at Claudine face kissing her before answering " Um yah I promise but nothing is going to happen to you I promise". Claudine did say anything to ivy just smiled at her as she grabbed Ivy's hand " Ok let's go, can I have a cigarette"? Ivy gave her one and handed her the lighter so she could light it. after lighting her cigarette, she handed it back to her girlfriend. Ivy lit hers before they started their trek to the market part of the isle.
The market was bustling with people either trying to shop or see if they could trick some sucker out of their money. Claudine stayed close to ivy she didn't really like crowds. the two continued walking until they made it to the apothecary. Ivy looked in the small front window seeing a very annoyed Maddie behind the counter as people waited to be checked out. She looked down at Claudine seeing the anxiety on her face. "Hey, why don't I go in and you wait out here''. She looked around before saying " To many people I'll go wait in that ally over there. You can come get me from there deal"? Ivy thought about it the ally wasn't that far from the shop "Ok ill meet you there as soon as I'm done". Claudine smiles "Deal". she says as she waves at ivy before heading to the ally. Ivy smiles back as she enters the apothecary. neither girl noticed as a hooded figure followed after Claudine.
Claudine leaned against the cold stone wall of the ally taking a drag of her cigarette before blowing a smoke cloud into the air. she closed her eyes looking at the sky completely in her own thoughts. Suddenly she heard the footsteps of someone entering the ally. Slightly opening her eyes to see if it was Ivy, however to her shock it wasn't Ivy it was someone she hadn't seen in months. Standing at the entrance of the ally was her older brother he looked the exact same way he looked 3 months ago.
His shaggy sandy blonde hair was slightly framing his angler face. His glasses covering his cold dull blue eyes which showed no emotion in them. A slight scar on his left eye mocked Claudine as she remembered she was the one who gave it to him. he walks closer causing Claudine to pull away from the wall throwing her cigarette to the ground. " What the hell are you doing here Josh"?
Josh smirked before saying "What I can't see my little sister? Its be months I missed you". he moved closer to her. Claudine started to move backwards until she was pressed against the cold stone wall. He moved closer bringing his lips hovering by her ears as he whispers, "Dad says hi".
Claudine had no time to react before she felt a sharp pain in her right side under her ribcage. She gasped before coughing out blood. She stared him in the eyes they were completely emotionless before bringing her eyes down to see what had caused the pain. She shuddered as she saw her brothers hand clasping a knife covered in blood. She moved her fingers to the blood when realization hit her, she had been stabbed. Unable to say anything as she felt the knife leave her body.
She tries to hold herself but her legs where shaking and slowly she slipped down the wall as she wrapped her arm across her chest to cover her side to try to stop the bleeding. She looked at her brother as he just stood there whispering "Why"? He turned to leave the ally putting back up his hood which had slipped off " Goodbye sister". He says as he walks out of the ally. Cluadine was left alone in that ally nobody seemed to notice she was bleeding out she leaned her head back against the wall looking to the sky to see a slimmer of the sunlight.
