Chapter Text
In the cavernous land of tornadoes, Totton, a race lived of great taste.
They were the most powerful, proud, primordial, sturdy, elegant, and advanced beings in the cosmos. Got the sturdiness and the philosophy, a rich civilization, culture and history.
That’s right, they are the Tottonids. Every being seeks them. For science, for alchemy, shelter, wisdom and beauty.
The emperor, Tottonid III Dia Mundo, sent his telepathy across the universe to look for a successor to take their place. They knew, their end was nigh. Soon they would send out their last signal from within the crown. Their body already became pure ore. They needed to find someone as gray, as elegant, as distinguished and wise as them within the next ten thousand years, and it had to be someone who could bear the unbearable weight to be an emperor.
Their language was unique to them. No one could learn it and they prided themselves in it. Or so they thought: an outsider had their language figured out, and responded to Their call.
Now, they face an impending crisis: a member of another race will become their ruler!
The royal family, which ruled from the beginning of the amber eras, fell. Now, some gray-haired carbon-based lifeform will take their place!
“Dia Mundo, your highness. I do not accept!” Minister Rosenquartz said.
“Our new king is not one of our race.”
The emperor said: “Well, we would’ve never expected this. Yet the chosen one is so gray and elegant, with wisdom emanating from within. Even if they are from another race, does that even matter? In every aspect, they are perfect.”
“And remember, isn’t Coal also carbon? People rise from dust. We are just the purest form of them all. In a way, everything is our race, everyone has our bloodline. They just have all forms of impurities added after the transmutation of their original form.”
“Great wisdom, as expected of our emperor. However, we have yet to judge their power. They look nowhere as sturdy as your greatness.” Advisor Rosevank said.
“Let us call upon our great ancestor to judge their strength.”
“If they approve, I’ve got nothing more to add.”
