When he walked into their apartment a smile crossed his face. Olivia was sitting on the couch with Katie and Noah on each side of her. The smell of popcorn drifted through the room and a movie- one that seemed to be some sort of musical from the sound of it played on their TV.
He walked along the back of the couch greeting Katie and Noah while kissing Olivia on the cheek. He laid down on the chaise part of their new sofa; a gift to Liv celebrating their new engagement as he took a sip from Olivia’s wine glass on the coffee table.
“Mamma Mia?” He asked with a knowing smile. Olivia was obsessed with this movie and he has caught her a time or two jamming out to the songs when she thought no one was watching.
“Yep! Noah’s first time” She grinned as Noah smiled at him before immediately pulling his attention back to the movie. Katie smiled at him as she got excited and exclaimed
“Oh Dad this part is one of my FAVORITES”

It was at that moment that Olivia and Elliot made eye contact and a large grin spread across her face.

She stood up and made her way across the couch back towards Elliot. She grabbed the wine glass on the way and held it as a microphone as she sang

Elliot grinned up at her as Katie and Noah’s eyes left the TV and focused on them. She gently pulled him up to his feet as she sang and danced around him.

She waved her newly decorated ring finger around and as she sang I do her eyes never left Elliot’s and her smile only growing wider.
He pulled her into a hug as the song neared the end and she softly sang to him.

When the song ended they stayed wrapped up in each other. She had neglected to realize they paused the movie until she heard Katie say
“Maybe they should cast you two in the musical instead”
That made them all laugh and before they pulled away, she looked at him and whispered a quiet “I love you” to Elliot.

Their wedding was six months later. They were happier than ever. Olivia felt like her dreams had truly come true and Elliot felt the same.
Their vows were perfect. Their reception included heartfelt toasts from every kid and even a video montage created by them.
It was to both their surprise that the video of them in the living room six months earlier was the closing clip and while it brought laughter to them, it also brought tears to their eyes. They were truly in love and made for each other.
It also happened to be a coincidence that when they made their way to the middle of the dance floor for a final and private dance, those same lyrics she sang in the video were the ones serenading them as they ended their day.
They looked each other in the eyes as they sang the chorus feeling emotional and finally complete.
