“V, I'm going on a walk, no need to wait for me to eat dinner, I already ate some!”
A silver haired boy said while drying his hands on a towel. He had just finished cleaning the kitchen after making sure to make something for his sister to eat.
“Yeah Sure N, just don't take too much time to come back, I know you love your late night walks, stargazing and constellation stuff, but it's dangerous to be outside at night, let alone all by yourself.” V answered, setting her phone down and crossing her arms.
N grabbed his jacket and shoulder bag “ ‘Kay! Bye V!” He waved and closed the door

It was pretty chilly outside. The sun wasn't much visible anymore giving full space for the moon and the stars to shine. As he walked the breeze carried the leaves that had fallen from the trees and bushes, making it look like they were dancing. He smiled at nothing specific, just enjoying himself.
N was happy with the way his life was right now. All of his sisters were happy, therefore, he was too, right?
J moved to another country several months ago and Cyn went to live with Tessa so he and V could focus on their work and college. The tall boy wouldn't admit It, but with just him and V it gets really lonely sometimes since she worked almost all day, every day. It wouldn't change much if she stopped it anyway, so he never mentioned anything.
He finally made it to his destination, a really high cliff, so he could see the stars without the city lights and noises Interrupting him. Sitting on the ground, he took a deep breath and grabbed his Sketchbook in case he found something interesting to draw. The last few rays of sunlight reflected in his eyes making them look plain yellow. He smiled again feeling the wind blowing up his hair and closed his eyes.
“You aren't going to jump, are you?”
N eye's shot open, he wasn't expecting to see anyone up there, so the person scared the life out of him.
“AH WHAT!? I-I mean no! Who are you anyway?” he asked terrified. Right in front of him was a girl, but what was making him doubt his eyes was that the girl was not only floating, but right in front of him staring him dead in the eyes and upside-down!
“Dude chill, it's not like I'm going to kill you or anything” she rolled her eyes.
“Y- you're floating!” He whispered
“Oh really? I didn't notice, thank you for pointing it out” she answered sarcastically.
“What are you doing up here? I-i've never seen anyone come here besides me”
The girl shrugged, standing In the grass. She was too… transparent, literally, to be someone just pranking him for fun. The light passed right through her leaving no shadow, her feet didn't touched the ground and she could float-
“Wait, you are a ghost?!”
“Took you long enough” she sighed.
“But I didn't think ghosts were a real thing-”
“Me neither, but here I am” She pouted then floated until she could look him in the eyes “who are you and how can you see me”
Her eyes were the only thing that weren't faded. Dark violet eyes looking at him while his own golden ones stared back
“I'm N! What's your name ghost girl?” Despite the situation he couldn't help but be nice, her eyes seemed to be holding so much pain that made his heart ache.
“I…don't know…” she whispered “Oh, i do remember my steam username though”
“How come you know your steam username but not your own name”
“I must have died playing video games!” She giggled “Okay, i'll tell you, but don't make fun of it! I think I made it when I was eight or something.”
“Sure! I promise I won't.” he smiled.
....
“Darkxwolf17” The ghost said shortly. Her mind seemed to be racing between multiple lines of thoughts- all bad ones, he supposed.
“Nice to meet you Darkxwolf17! Can we be friends?”
“Are you trying to be friends with a ghost?” the young woman asked.
“Y-Yeah, you seemed quite alone, so I thought I could bring you company!”
The girl, now known as Darkxwolf17, just stood there, staring at him. She probably was looking for any sign of lies or jokes, however, she didn't find anything.
“Hm sure, why not.”
“Yay! Now, come here!” N sat on the cold grass and patted a place beside him. Darkxwolf17 sat without questions, yet she seemed intrigued.
“I was going to stargaze before you showed up. Do you want to watch them with me? I can show you the constellations and stuff.” He scratched the back of his neck.
“Yeah that seems nice. Do you want to be an astronaut or something?”
“Actually, I'm studying to be a pilot!”
“Woah, that's really cool dude!”
“Ah- thanks I guess.”
An awkward silence filled the space between their lack of experience in social interactions -and the author's awful writing-. Meanwhile N struggled to find something to keep the conversation going, Darkxwolf17 just sat there admiring the stars in the vast night sky. That made him want to do the same, but a question popped up in his head.
“How long has it been… since you became a ghost?"
“uhh…about 9 months I think?”
“And you've been all by yourself this whole time!?”
“Yeah…but I've seen a few ghosts floating around. I tried to interact with them but they're mostly old or mean people trying to free themselves from their sins…”
“Well, now you won't have to deal with these guys anymore! Anytime you feel lonely you can just meet me up here”
“Huh..thanks, that's really nice” she held her knees close to her chest.

The time passed by rather quickly and when N realized it was already pretty late and had to go back home. The thought made him feel a little sad, it's been a while since he talked to someone like this.
He shook his head to keep these thoughts away.
“So…I'll have to go now, my sister will be really mad if i don't.” he said with a chuckle
“Sure! Are you coming back tomorrow? Not that I liked spending time with or anything!! Uhh…”
N felt a warm smile forming on his face, a genuine one. “Yep, don't worry! See you tomorrow, goodbye! ”
“Bye…” she waved.
The boy noticed that the girl had a small, almost unnoticeable smile on her face, however, he said nothing about it. She would probably find a way to smack him. One thing he learned today was that she gets flustered very easily and gets really angry when someone points it out. He giggled and waved before starting his way back home.
‘I made a new friend todayyy!!!’ He cheered.
