"Tell me Oni-san, what are your intentions for coming here?" Butuma inquired. The oni has come to his palace, his gaze fell on one of his treasured children. Tobirama, a brilliant mind, the smallest of his sons but as deadly if not more.
"Father..." Hashirama started, he was surprised by his friend's boldness to come into their palace.
"I came to ask for your son's hand in marriage...I have fallen in love with him..."
Bitsuma paused, looking at Tobirama who hid his face behind a fan, the tips of his ears were red as blood, as his red eyes, shining with embarrassment. "Tobirama, do you have feelings for this oni..." his voice was firm but gentle.
"I do..." The white-haired dragon looked at his brother, who only seconds ago stared at him with shock, now don a smile, his eyes shining as they watered with fresh tears. "I enjoy his company..."
Butsuma nodded, a little reluctant to let one of his children marry a stranger, a yokai, a being he had never had contact with but he couldn't deny Tobirama happiness. He signed "You may court Tobirama, but do not break his heart, do not mistreat him, do not make him sad...I will find you and I will sever your head...do you understand?"
"Of course..." With the last smile aimed at Tobirama, who waved his hand rather shyly Madara left the court satisfied with his little victory. He will court Tobirama with the riches and affection he deserves, he already had Tobirama's love, he just had to win his future father-in-law's approval.
