Save The World! - My Chemical Romance

Summary:

Phantastown hasn't seen paranormal activity in years. Centuries, perhaps. So when Ray Toro is killed by an unknown cause, the town goes in a state of paranoia and fear. Conveniently, Frank Iero arrives in town just as these spooky things are happening, and with his ability to see dead people, it all works out. He's thrown into a world of ghosts, spirits, people hunting spirits?? He finds his way eventually, it's just the journey he takes to find it that's all right here.

Chapter 0 - “What’s Hidden In The Forest”

 

The unseen is never what humans believe. They take their guns. Their bullets. Shoot into the smoke, and yet, none of that is real. It’s all just their imagination, spirits haunting the world in fear far greater than the end of the world, skittering around and hiding their very faces in plain sight. Because why hide if no one can see you?

And are they truly imaginary?


They speak in phantasms. Whispers. Mutterings. Crawl in the darkness and into the very things we call safe. Because no one is safe. Not from them.

 

We can never see what’s truly hidden in the forest…

hello! this is a concept I've been developing and i've strayed away from for a while. just seeing if chapter 0 gets traction as it's a very different idea from most MCR fanfics and heavily inspired after reading Deathwish (shoutout to my friend for buying all four current issues and my ass reading all of them in one sitting :PP) so hop along for the ride, so sorry I'm so inconsistent with posting, but i'll def try and get them out as fast as possible
