“Did you see that?”
“Eww, It’s getting close to us!”
“Hina-Chan! Don’t stare at that poor kid, he must have something wrong with him!”
Denki couldn’t hold it. He thought he could. He thought when he boarded the train after his last class, skipping the bathroom but knowing he did have to pee would be fine. He would rush home and use his own bathroom. Except he couldn’t hold it. Two stops away and his bladder decided to empty—on the rush hour train full of people.
Everyone saw. Kids laughed. Parents looked concerned, women were grossed out, understandably. However, one person who saw didn’t say anything, nor did they bring it up ever again. Denki didn’t either when he saw the purple haired teen at school over the next few weeks. He did notice him on the train every day after that, but never once did they even stand next to each other, until today.
Three weeks after Denki peed his pants on the train, he has found himself in the same situation, except—He isn’t the one who clearly shouldn’t have skipped the bathroom this time.
Training ran late. It happens when a battle is too good to cut short. The train is packed. It’s neering curfew for students so there is barely room to stand. Hence why Denki is by Shinso, They both got their together and in turn, were shoved against one another and that's why Denki knows the other has to pee. He can feel him jittering in place. He felt when Shinso slipped a hand between them.
If he is to the point he is holding himself…Denki should say something, right?
“Uhm—Do you want to get off at the next stop? We can get the next one?” Denki asks because he hated himself for not doing just that.
“Can’t. Curfew.”
“Ah—Strict parents? I’m sure they will understand if you tell them it was a bathroom emergency?” Denki’s mom was very understanding when he came home, sobbing, and had to clean his uniform that night before school. He was embarrassed, but she made him feel less bad.
“New Foster. They will kick me out if I miss curfew again.”
“Again? Why have you before?”
“E-Extra training with Aizawa-sensei.” Denki doesn’t think that sounds right…
“And Sensei didn’t offer you a ride when he knew it was that late?” His teacher literally begs them to call him instead of getting in trouble. He wants to help them…but he let Shinso go home and get in trouble?
“H-He can’t know I got a new placement…they would have to sign the permission slip again and they—oh god, no, no—h-hate heroes.” Denki flicks his eyes down between their two bodies, he can’t see, but he would bet Shinso just accidentally peed a little…Denki didn’t last too long after that.
“What stop is yours?”
“L-last. Oh fuck—I can’t hold it.”
“Shhh. Don’t draw attention to it. Uhm—My stop is like a lot before yours and my house is right by the station. Do you want to get off and my mom can drive you home?” Denki knows his mom is probably tired from work but she isn’t cruel like Shinso’s foster parents are. If he explains it was a bathroom emergency, then she will drive him, likely before curfew.
“I’m gonna piss myself, oh god—I’m so stupid! Why can’t I go at school?” Denki relates,
“Thought you could make it home? That's what I thought…Wait can’t?” Denki blushes, bringing up his own accident “Why can’t you go at school?”
“N-not can’t didn’t—I didn’t. No—fuck, stop, stop.”
“Our stop is next, do what you need to do! We can run to the station bathroom—But why can’t you go at school?”
“General studies kids think i’m—nghhh—They think i’m gonna b-brainwash them in the t-toilets because they found out i’m g-gay and saw my quirk at the s-ports festiva—Fucking i’m gonna pee my pants.”
“They keep you from going!? All day?!” Denki is steaming hearing that. Bullying? That's what this is right? It makes no sense at a hero school—
“Yep. I usually get a break when I-I’m invited to hero practice with your class but…”
“But today we were sent on a wild goose chase the second the last bell rang—and then you didn’t want to miss the train home so you didn’t go to the locker rooms.” Denki doesn’t get an answer because the train rolls to a stop and the doors behind them open. He is being pulled off the train before he can register its his stop.
“Where?! Where are the fucking bathroom?!” Denki tries to get his bearings and takes off in the familiar direction except—
“This isn’t my stop? We got off too early…”
“What!? No—Please tell me this station has b-bathrooms?” It doesn’t. This station is just a platform—it’s not even really a stop.
“Look! I’ll call my mom and she can come get us and….”
Denki words fall short, cut off by the sound of liquid pattering hard against the concrete floor of the platform. He lets go of Shino’s arm as the boy floods his pants. “It’s just coming out…” Shinso sounds so distraught.
“It’s okay! Your body couldn’t take it any longer and it just needed to go…The same thing happened to me. You can’t hold it forever…” Denki stops talking when Shinso closes his eyes. Denki can actually hear the hiss of the other boys stream shooting into his pants and trailing down his legs and it just keeps going…and going and…
“Shinso-kun…When was the last time you got to pee?”
“S-seven…before I left for school…”
“That's over twelve hours! Oh my—Are you okay?”
“It…hurts.” Denki doesn’t hear the boys relief anymore, and yet his face still looks painfully uncomfortable.
“Well yeah, you probably gave yourself an infection! I got sick after my accident too…Hey! My mom still has all the stuff she bought for me! Do you think your foster parents would be okay if you spent the night? My mom could call them?”
“uhm…I think they might be okay with that if it's a woman w-who calls them and asks. but—I’m gross, how will we get home?”
“Hold on—Hey mom! Yeah…I kinda need a ride…Mizugaoka station…..can you bring a towel and—No! Not again—I’m fine mom, it's just my friend He—It was a bathroom emergency and we got off at a station without bathrooms and yeah—” Denki covers the speaker with his hand for a second, “She wants to know if you want pants to change into for the ride home, or if you would be okay sitting on a towel?”
“T-towel is fine…I need to shower…”
“Towel is fine—no mom! I’m not lying—I actually have a friend! Can you please hurry? I have to pee too and Shinso-kun is shivering…Okay, Love you…Bye.”
“You’re mom seems cool…”
“She is! I’ll ask her about you staying the night in person…She kinda doesn’t believe I have a real life friend…” Denki laughs,
“You don’t bring home any of the guys from your class? You all seem to get along?”
“We do!!! I mean—I guess I just ruined that a bit for myself…I was friends with this guy from our class who, thankfully, just got expelled…Mineta? I don’t know if you know him but he was a real pervert…a lot of the guys still, I think, associate me with him…I don’t know…”
“wait…Mineta was expelled?!” Shinso asks, suddenly,
“Yeah, he pants a teacher…why?”
“I—I was pending transfer to the hero course if someone dropped or—”
“Or got expelled! Oh my god!!! That means…You're my classmate now!?”
“Wow…what a great first impression I made, huh?” Shinso jokes, but Denki can see the small smile on his lips.
“Now you can pee at school. My class—heck, nobody in the hero course would ever keep you from the bathroom.” Denki can see the relief, finally, in Shinso’s face. “And now that you're not in general studies, we're telling Aizawa what kids did to you, as hero students we like..should tell someone…They were also homophobic on top of quirkist…thats not okay.”
“I’ll tell him…as long as you don’t mention this to anyone in our class…”
“You didn’t tell anyone about me—so I'll do the same for you.” Denki smiled—he might actually have a friend in Shinso.
