Chapter Text
It was silent, her hands drifting over the rails, eyes half lidded. The sound of her footsteps echoed in the empty space. Her breath paused upon remembering last night, her cheeks flushing up. It was aw- "Oh, sorry!"
She looked up at him; embarassed. "Sorry." He didn't speak a word, he just glanced at her. It was weird how that short moment of eye contact made her heartbeat come to a halt but, things don't turn out like everyone thinks they would.
She thought that was the last time she would make contact with him, and it certainly wasn't what fate had in mind.
