Home Only Means Everything, So I'll Choose Kindness

Summary:

You're having a great day honestly!

You don't have any work to do today, you had a great breakfast, you're all cozy in your PJ's and everything seems to be adding up to a nice, relaxing day you haven't had in a while! You think you might make some popcorn and watch your favorite Fnaf speedrunners to laugh at the absurdity of the bugs Fnaf Security Breach can have.

That is until the Daycare Attendant from the game shows up inside your house.

Chapter 1: A hop, skip, and jump into a brand new dimension!

Chapter Text

It had been a stressful night, to say the least. Moon had left quite the mess for Sun to clean again. He tried not to hold it against him, he really did, but it was hard not to be at least a little annoyed when he woke up in a pile of torn apart staff bots up in their room. He knew Moon was sick… And had been for a while. It's not entirely his fault he's doing all this. He could at least appreciate the fact Moon would block him out whenever he had violent moments like these. Sun didn't think he'd handle actively watching the violence very well.

He sighed as he cleaned, putting the staff bots in the corner of the room and wiping up all the spilled oil and such. Unfortunately he can't dispose of the broken bots due to the fact he can't leave the daycare without a good reason, and Moon is in no state to help with the clean up. As if to prove a point, he could hear Moon laughing in the back of their shared head.

“Would you at least have the decency to feel a little bad? Maybe just a smidge of remorse? Perhaps an apology?” He dramatically grumbled under his breath. Not that he needed to breathe, he's a robot after all, but- No! He's getting distracted! Back to work.

Once he was done he stood up and surveyed the room. It… it looked as good as he could get it right now. He felt his cleaning protocols itching inside his metal frame but did his best to ignore it. He can't do anything more without Moon. He wilted a little but quickly shook it off. It was only a matter of time before the kids got here! He had to clean himself off too before then!

‘Messy messy~’ Moon giggled. “And who's fault is that?” He retorted, putting all the sass he could into it, which only made Moon giggle harder. At least Moon could find the situation amusing. Despite everything, Sun still liked hearing his Counterpart laugh…With some exceptions.

He sat down cross-legged and pulled the wet wipes closer. Quickly taking one out, he began to clean off his body. At least nothing had gotten on their pants or shoes, that would take a lot longer to clean! He felt Moon's consciousness lean against his own and relaxed slightly. He just had to stay optimistic! Soon enough the technicians would fix Moon and everything would be okay again! He just had to keep telling himself that.

He wasn't looking forward to naptime today. The kids had such a hard time sleeping with the lights and music on, and Moon got so loud during it. He didn't like what Moon had to say during naptime. He much preferred moments like now when Moon was more calm. He sent a hesitant brush of affection through their connection, like gently bumping shoulders. For a few moments he thought Moon wouldn't respond until he felt the affection be returned. His smile turned a bit more genuine at that, his code gently pressing against Moon's.

Soon enough they were sparkling like new. Sun puffed up a bit in pride. He did quite a good job, if he did say so himself! He stood up and dusted himself off. A quick check of the state of the daycare should be quick enough before the children got here! He didn't want to miss any messes, after all!

“You're quite the troublemaker, Moon! If that mess had been any bigger, I wouldn't have time to check over the daycare before the little ones started showing up!” He lightly scolded his lunar counterpart, rolling his eyes affectionately at the impression of a sharp grin that Moon sent back through their code. Even with everything going on and how bad things were getting, he was still glad he had Moon with him. He doesn't even want to entertain the thought of anything else.

He jumped off the balcony to land in the ball pit when he suddenly saw a bright light appear below him. He panicked and tried to call the wire to catch him but it was too late.

He never landed in the pit below.

His senses were quickly overwhelmed and forced him to restart before it could get worse. When he came to, he was on the ground. His optics reset after a few seconds and he blearily tried to take in his surroundings and figure out what had happened.

‘Sun? Sun what happened?!’ He heard Moon ask, sounding just as frazzled as he was. “I don't- I don't know…” He managed to wheeze out. His voice was a bit staticy so he manually reset it.

He looked around and only became more confused. The room they were in didn't look familiar at all. There were none of the familiar bright, neon colors of the Pizzaplex, only soft blue walls and rich brown hardwood floors. There were bookshelves against the walls full of… videogames? He could see a large beanbag in the corner, big enough for him actually! Plus a medium sized rug under that, taking up a corner of the room. Looking behind him, he saw….A computer???

‘Sun… I don't think we're in the Pizzaplex anymore..’ Moon said weakly. “Gee, thanks for the observation, Dorothy.” He snarked back, only to wince and quickly apologize at the flash of annoyance he felt from Moon. ‘I can't connect to the Pizzaplex’s systems. We're completely cut off. How the hell did we get here?!’ He hissed. “I'm not sure. There was a bright light, but just… suddenly being teleported doesn't make any sense!” Sun whined in disbelief.

Moon was preparing to start bickering with Sun, he could tell, when their audials suddenly picked up the quick pitter patter associated with someone walking rapidly towards them. His head snapped up and forwards just in time to see the door slam open and a human appear in the doorway holding a plastic water bottle. He felt like time was crawling to a slow as they stared at each other. The human's eyes widened in shock as they suddenly dropped their bottle onto the floor, breath hitching as they saw him.

Oh no.

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Oh no.

Oh god. Okay. Okay okay okay!

Sun from fnaf is in your house!

Everythings fine! You're so chill! You're so calm and chill and cool!

You totally aren't one wrong move away from a panic attack!

“One second!” You hold up a finger, watching him flinch back slightly at your voice, rays going halfway back into his head before slowly pushing back out. Cool! Great! He's moving! That's so awesome and cool!

You quickly rush out of the doorway into your living room and grab a throw pillow from your couch, pressing it into your face and screaming as loud and long as you can into it. You feel significantly better now actually. Who knew screaming your lungs out could be so calming? You, you knew. You shake your head and remind yourself of the situation. Don't lose focus! You've got an animatronic in your house!

You hesitantly walk back to your computer room and peek inside. If you didn't know any better, you might say Sun looked surprised you came back. Okay. You can do this. Stay calm. Stay calm….You ignore the accidental fnaf song reference you just made.

“Um… hi?” You peep out. You think he's still processing everything, either that or he's scared he's gonna startle you if he does anything. “Are… are you okay?” You ask, walking a bit into the room when he doesn't do anything for a minute.

He looks bewildered honestly. You carefully and slowly crouch down to pick up your dropped bottle and set it on an empty spot on the shelf closest to you. You pause and then take a cautious step towards him.

He scrambles back, startling you, and ends up sitting back and staring at you with wide eyes. “Uh- Um- H-Hello new friend! I- Um- I seem to be a bit lost!” He suddenly blurts out, sounding shaky, but just like the voice he had in-game. Something about you feels satisfied about that fact, even excited, but you push it down. Now's not the time.

“Yeah, no kidding.” You laugh in shock, an unsure smile on your face as you fiddle with your shirt.

“I'm so sorry, friend. Do you know where we are?” He seems to slowly be regaining his composure. Very slowly. You note the use of ‘we’ there. You let out a few breathy laughs and nod “Yeah, you're in my house right now.”

He visibly tenses up at that. “Oh- Oh no. I- I really don't know how I got here, I'm so sorry.” He apologizes, to which you quickly wave your hands to reassure him “No, no, it's fine! I'm not upset, just surprised is all!”

He seems to be scanning your face for something, and relaxes the tiniest bit when he doesn't find it. “Okay. Do…Do you know where Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is? That's where we're from and we really need to be getting back!” He asks hopefully. You internally winced. “That… . That might be a problem.” You admit. He looks confused at your confession, tilting his faceplate slightly. Oh that's adorable. No- No- Stay focused!

“And why would that be, new friend?” He asks you. You wring your hands and bite your lip a little before taking a deep breath and responding “Because that's a very long way away from here.” You try to let him down slowly. You can't just immediately tell him that it's because the place is fictional! He'd never believe you! He's living proof it's way more real than you thought it was!

He visibly wilts at your words, making your chest clench at the sight. “Oh… oh… that's.. Well…” He looks distraught. You can't take seeing one of your absolute favorite characters like that, it's downright painful! He looks like a kicked puppy! A very tall clown of a kicked puppy! “Hey! Hey! Don't worry!” You quickly blurt out before you can stop yourself.

You walk closer and hold out a hand to him. “Why don't you stay here until we can figure out how to get you back home?” You offer. God, you're practically experiencing a fanfic trope. It almost makes you laugh out loud but you manage to keep it in. He perks up at your offer. “Are you sure? Like sure sure? You wouldn't mind?” You have to fight down a very embarrassing sound at how hopeful and excited he looks. Come on! You can't go all ‘excited fan’ in front of him! You'll freak him out!

You nod. “Yeah, I've got plenty of space! I've even got an extra guest room I haven't been using for anything!” You smile encouragingly at him. He hesitates for a moment and then takes your hand, letting you pull him up. You're pretty sure he did most of the heavy lifting though. A shiver runs through you as you touch the silicone and metal of his hand. He feels just as warm as the fandom tends to depict him. You guess that makes sense, he's full of complex machinery, of course he'd be warm. Even your computer gets warm when you use it!

He smiles down at you, or at least you feel like the smile permanently molded onto his face is more genuine than before. “So? What's your name, new friend! I'm Sun! Or Sunny, Sundrop, really anything with sun in it!” He introduces himself, which makes you giggle. His rays wiggle at the sound and you have to bite the inside of your mouth to keep calm.

“I'm Y/N. It's nice to meet you, Sun!” You beam up at him. “That's such a nice name! It's nice to meet you too, Y/N!” He eagerly says. You notice you're still holding hands and force yourself to let go. You internally bonked yourself for even thinking for a moment that he looks a little sad about the loss of contact. You've been reading too much fanfic! Control yourself!

“Here, why don't I show you to the guest bedroom and you can get a few minutes to relax while I go change into some actual clothes.” You blush a bit in embarrassment about the fact you were still wearing your pajamas despite the fact it was well past lunch time. So sue you, you like to be comfy in your own home! “I can give you a tour of my house once you're all settled!”

He nods eagerly at the idea “Thank you, friend! I'd love that! Just… keep the lights on, okay?” His voice dipped a little at the end, making you shiver yet again. “Yeah, you got it!” Oh god. If he's here, then you're gonna be dealing with Moon too. Stay calm, you can think about the implications later. You don't have time to have a panic attack about Moon and how he may or may not kill you if you accidentally turn out the lights to the room Sun is in. You're suddenly really happy about the fact you almost never have blackouts in your area. The pros of living where you do, you suppose.

“Follow me.” You tell him and walk out of the room. You don't even need to check to see if he's following, you can clearly hear his bells jingling as he trails behind you. They sound so nice… or maybe you just like them because they're his. Ughhhh now is not the time! Get it together, Y/N!

He's mostly silent as you lead him through your house and up the stairs. He does pipe up eventually. “Wow! Your home is pretty big, huh? Nowhere as big as the Pizzaplex of course, but big for what I've heard about houses!” You giggle a bit at his observation. “Yup! It's nice, though maybe a bit big for just little ol’ me. I like it though. Plenty of room for all my stuff!” You respond. You're still really proud of yourself for being able to afford a place like this. You still remember the party your friends and family threw for you when you bought this place. One grand hurrah and farewell before you moved away. You focus back in on the moment once you reach the guest room.

You open the door and step inside, turning to see Sun follow you in. He has to duck just slightly to get through the doorway. God the game did not prepare you at all for his size. Now you're really grateful for the tall ceilings of this place. You do a grand gesture at the whole room and grin at him. “So? What do you think? Good enough for you?”

He pauses and takes it all in, slowly looking around the room. “Good enough? Good enough? It's great!” He excitedly tells you, rays spinning in joy. Oh that's gonna stay in your memory forever. “It's so cozy! Did you decorate it yourself? I can't believe you're letting us use it!” His joy was infectious and made you snicker. “Yeah, I did all the decorating. I'm glad you like it! I'll let you get settled in. Just call for me if you need anything, okay?”

He nods and goes to sit down on the bed. You giggle as he suddenly falls back and sprawls over it completely. You remember that this is probably his first time ever laying on a bed. It's simultaneously adorable and sad. You decide to leave him to it and exit the room, shutting the door behind you. You should see what kind of extra long charging cords you have in your garage. He's gonna be needing it if he does end up staying here with you for a while.

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

“Can you believe it, Moon?! A whole decorated room to ourselves! A bed, Moonie! A bed!” Sun giggles in disbelief. He never expected you to be so, so nice! Especially to a random animatronic that suddenly appeared in your house! He could feel Moon's skepticism, but knew that Moon would warm up to you in time. After all, you were kind enough to let them stay with you for the foreseeable future! At least until they get home. Which they have to, as soon as possible. But maybe a vacation was just what they needed! Though… you did let them stay without knowing about Moon and the virus he has… but… but that's fine! Sun… Sun can keep it hidden! He can keep you safe. He feels really bad that Moon won't be able to experience how soft this bed is first hand, but at least he can somewhat feel it through their connection! Oh if only Moon weren't so sick…

‘Sun.’ Moon's voice snapped him out of him, making him jump a little before relaxing into the bed again. It was so comfy, even more than he thought it would be! ‘We can't relax just yet. We don't know anything about them!’

Sun scoffed. “We know they're nice enough to help a creepy, tall, clown animatronic that showed up in their house out of the blue! They barely even freaked out! They even went into a different room to scream instead of screaming at us! And! And they came right back!” He knew how most adults saw him, he wasn't stupid. He just wished Moon wouldn't be so suspicious of his new friend, but he guessed that was just a side effect of being a security bot. A healthy dose of wariness definitely helps with his job when dealing with intruders… well it did before the virus…

‘Just be careful, okay Sunny? We can't risk getting hurt out here without the parts to fix it.’ Sun softened a little at the concern radiating off of Moon. “Okay, I promise.” He sighed, wrapping his code around Moon's in the closest thing to a hug he could manage. He smiled softly at the affection he felt back from his best friend. “We'll get through this! Our new friend will help us get back home, and then everything will be okay! Let's try to enjoy this little vacation while we can, okay Moonie?” He encouraged the other bot. He felt happy as Moon finally relented. Even Moon couldn't hide the impression of a hesitant smile in their code.

‘Okay. We can try.’

Chapter 2: The Grand Tour

Summary:

It's finally time to show Sun around your house. Let's just hope you don't forget anything important!

Chapter Text

You were having a very strange day. One moment you're just enjoying the day off, and the next you have your favorite animatronic from Five Night's At Freddy's in your guest room.

The excitement and panic you're feeling has somehow mixed into one indescribable emotion that both has you shockingly calm and also like a shaken soda bottle. At least you have a somewhat clear head so you can focus on the task at hand.

Currently you are digging through boxes in your garage for any long charging cables you can find. You don't know what type of plug the Daycare Attendant actually takes, so you're just grabbing them all and hoping one is a match. You idly wondered where exactly they would plug into? Most stories you read had it going into their back, but there were others where it went into the back of their head or in their chest once it's opened. You suddenly get the funny image in your head of Sun laying face first sprawled out in the guest bed with the charging cord sticking out of his back.

Once you had all the cords you could find, you stood up and headed back to the guest bedroom upstairs. Your back wasn't very happy with you for crouching down for so long, but the adrenaline made it easy to ignore. You stopped for a couple minutes before the door, thoughts scattered. You're going to see Sun again. Sun is in your house. Jesus Christ, you need to get a grip on yourself. You can't crash now, Sun needs your help. You shake your head and knock on the door.

“Hey Sunny? I'm coming in!” You warn him. You hear his bells jingling as you open the door. You see him sitting up on the bed, rays spinning slowly, and can't fight the smile that crosses your face. “Hey buddy, I brought some charging cords. I didn't know which type would work for you, so I just grabbed everything I could.” You lift the bundle of cords in your arms to emphasize your words.

Sun's rays start spinning faster as he perks up. “Oh! Thank you so, so, so much friend! I hadn't even thought about how we'd charge! You sure think ahead, huh?” He compliments you as he claps his hands together, making you giggle a little and feel a bit giddy at the praise from your favorite fnaf character. This was a dream come true in some ways. You blinked yourself out of your thoughts as Sun stood up from the bed.

You walk into the room and lay the cords on the bed, letting Sun take a look at them all. He lets out a pleased noise as he grabs one of them and holds it up. “This one will work! Thank you again, friend!” He hummed happily. God, even just his words warm you up. It's like he's radiating warmth and comfort… . Or maybe that's just you being weird and way too excited about standing next to him.

“So, where exactly do you plug it in?” You blurt out before you can think better of it. He looks at you and for some reason you feel like he's amused at your question. Maybe he gets it a lot? “There's a port in the back of our head! Luckily, we don't need to charge as much as the others do.” He explains as he walks over to the wall and finds an electrical outlet near the bed.

“Oh, okay, yeah, that makes sense.” You nod as you gather up the other cords. “So do you need to charge right now, or can I start the tour once I put these away?” You ask him, watching as he coils up his chosen cord so it's neat and tidy and less of a tripping hazard.

He quickly looks over to you with his head turning around like an owl, making you wince ever so slightly in sympathy for his neck, despite the fact you know he's not actually hurting himself by doing that. “Right! The tour! I got so distracted by how nice this room was that I almost forgot!” He chuckles, doing a silly little motion with his hands as he spun his body around to face you along with his head. “You go ahead and clean that up, I'll be ready to go when you come back!” He encourages you.

You give him a smile and a nod as you hurry out of the room and back to your garage. You can feel that little bit of self-conscious doubt start to creep in at the idea of him seeing and judging your home. You try to ignore it, you can't back out now! He'd be so disappointed! Plus, he'd eventually see it all anyway since he'll be living with you for the foreseeable future. You sigh as you finish up and head back to him. You just hope your house isn't as messy as you fear it might be.

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Sun is really excited! He's never seen the inside of a regular home before. He'd never seen most of the Pizzaplex firsthand either, but he knew enough thanks to being able to see it through Moon’s eyes. He'd been too distracted earlier to take a very good look around while you'd been leading him up to their new room.

Even though Moon tried to hide it, Sun could tell he was curious too. Sun wondered what kinds of decorations you used most in your home. Would they be bright and colorful like in the daycare? Maybe something more pastel or darker? It would be fun to learn more about you as his new friend and roommate.

‘Sun, they're coming back.’ Moon snaps him out of his thoughts. “Oh! Yes! Thank you Moon.” He whispered as he heard you knock on the door again. “Coming!” He quickly called out to you as he walked over to the door. One pro of being as tall as he was is that he could cross the room in just a few steps!

He beams at you when he opens the door. You smile up at him again. You've been doing that a lot! Usually adults take a much longer time to get used to them. His rays spin at the thought that you like him already. Wouldn't that be nice?

“Hey big guy, ready for the tour?” You ask him. He eagerly nods and steps out of the room “You know it! Lead the way!” He invites you. He may have been playing up his excitement a little, he was genuinely excited, but hearing your giggle every time he acted a bit eager or silly made his code warm. He was built to entertain, after all. It's only natural he'd want to make you smile and laugh as much as he could. He felt Moon's amusement brush up against him at those thoughts and affectionately rolls his eyes. Luckily you didn't seem to notice. One of the few good things about his lack of colored pupils!

“Okay, okay. Just stay close, not every room has its blinds open so I'll have to turn the lights on in them before you can go inside.” You warn him. He nods in agreement. He really appreciates you taking his request about the lights so seriously. He isn't sure what he'd do if Moon got out and ended up hurting you, especially when you'd been oh so nice so far!

“Alright, we should probably start with this floor first since we're already up here.” You say as you look around for the best place to start. “Well, You've already seen your room. Maybe we could add a little sign to the door…” you mumble the last part. “Really? That would be great! We could make it together! It'd be so much fun!” He speaks up, already eager at the idea of doing an arts and crafts project with you. You chuckle a little and nod “Sure, we can do that. It'll have to wait till another day though, okay Sunny?” He wilts dramatically at your words but nods, making you laugh more. His rays spinning give away the fact he isn't as disappointed as he looks.

You seem to finally pick a good starting spot and began walking. Their new room was right next to the stairs so you’re leading them away from those. “There's actually not many rooms up here. Most are downstairs.” You explain as you walk up to the next door away from their room.

“This is the bathroom. It's pretty nice, I decorated it really well if I do say so.” You say with a bit of pride in your voice as you open the door, flicking on the lights. True to word, it was a large bathroom. The bathtub alone was big enough to fit him! It has ocean and lighthouse themed decorations, which he thinks looks very nice. It was all clean and tidy too! “You're right! It looks very nice in here.” He agrees, enjoying the way you seem to brighten up a bit at his praise. ‘I like all the blue.’ Moon adds, which amuses Sun. Of course Moon likes all the blue, it's his color! “There's a medicine cabinet behind the mirror.” You add.

You leave the door open as you lean back and point down the hallway at the last door. “That ones my room, but we can come back to that. I haven't cleaned up yet.” You admit with slight embarrassment. Sun chuckles and says “Alright. Where to next?” He's both relieved and disappointed that he doesn't get to see your room just yet. He really wants to see how you decorate your personal space, but he also knows his cleaning protocols would activate if he saw any messes. He doesn't want to be rude by randomly cleaning your room with no warning.

“Downstairs! Onwards, to the rest of my house!” You declare dramatically as you spin on your heel and head back to the stairs. He laughs, rays swaying at your sudden silly display. He made sure to follow closely after you with a skip in his step. The jingling of bells fills the air as he follows you down the stairs.

You enter into a foyer area, making a wide motion around. “Here's the entrance to the house. That door over there takes you out onto the front porch.” You explain to him before continuing. He takes a moment to look around the room and really take in your decorations. He isn’t quite sure how he feels about being so close to the door outside. He decides not to think about it too hard. ‘They've got some celestial themed decorations.’ Moon notes idly, to which Sun nods. Something about that fact feels satisfying. Maybe it was because they’re already so used to such themes back in the daycare?

He snaps out of his thoughts and follows after you as you enter a long hallway. You point into an open doorway on the right that leads into the only familiar room they have seen before. “That's the computer room, but you've already been in there.” You murmur before quickly moving on. They notice you have a very nice computer set-up now that they aren't so confused and panicked. You ignore the doorway directly across from the office for now, instead heading to the end of the hall.

“This door leads to the garage.” You explain, opening it and turning on the lights so he can peek inside. It looks like you mostly use it for storage, with lots of shelves and boxes against the walls. Not as many as the Pizzaplex’s storage rooms, of course, but enough to feel familiar. You've also got a car! Actually seeing a real life car is far more exciting for him then one might expect. It looks a lot more detailed in person than it does in the pictures the children draw.

“Is that your favorite color?” He asks, startling you slightly. “Huh?” You look confused, but then quickly answer before he can ask again. “Oh! My car. Yeah, it's my favorite color. Not my favorite shade of it, but yeah.” Oh that's great to know! Now he knows one of your favorite things! He can't wait to learn even more about you. “Well, that's a very good color! You'll have to show me your favorite shade of it sometime.” He hums.

You look amused and agree before pointing to a door on the right. “That's a bathroom too. It's a whole lot smaller than the one upstairs. Just a toilet and a sink.” You apparently decide it's not worth showing because you then turn to a room on the left. “Over here is the mudroom. It's where I put all my shoes.” You clarify while you lead him into it.

Sure enough, against one wall is a shoe rack with many many pairs of shoes on it. Above it are coats and hats and scarves hanging from hooks in the wall. He notices that a good amount of them are various shades of your favorite color. Against the other wall is a large shelf with many different cubbies. It was filled with lots of different linens.

“In here is the laundry room. It's pretty basic, to be honest.” You shrug it off while walking him inside and turning on the lights to let him look around. Sure enough, it was a basic laundry room. It had a washer, dryer and some cabinets presumably full of cleaning supplies. There's even a vacuum in the far corner of the room. The whole room was lacking in all the interesting decorations found in the rest of your house. Something about that was disappointing.

His head then snaps down to the different piles of dirty laundry in front of the washer and dryer. He could feel that familiar itch of his cleaning protocols but is quickly snapped out of it when you speak. You look a bit embarrassed about the mess but explain, “Sorry, I've got a whole system there. I put the different colored clothes in the different piles and then put one pile in the washer. Once that pile is done, I put it in the dryer and put the next load in the washer.” He didn't know why you suddenly feel the need to clarify it to him, but is grateful anyway. Something about knowing this was where the mess is supposed to be makes his code calm down. “I see! Well, if it works for you, then it's fine with me!” He reassures you.

You relax and nod, motioning for him to follow again as you head for that previously ignored doorway from earlier. You lead him into an open kitchen area. It was a lot smaller than he and Moon were used to, but he guesses any house's kitchen would be smaller compared to the ones in the Pizzaplex. It was cute and cozy though! “You really have excellent taste in decorations, friend.” He pipes up, enjoying the way you blush a little and nod. He can guess you are nervous about showing him your home, so a few compliments here and there could do you some good. There was a counter with tall stools in the middle of the kitchen. He hums approvingly when he notices the full fruit bowl. It's important to eat healthy when you can!

“Over here is the dining table, and that right there is a walk-in pantry.” You continue to point things out for him. ‘Heh. It's a good thing Chica's not here. She'd beeline for that pantry the second they pointed it out.’ Moon jokes, making Sun push his code lightly with fake annoyance. Moon could feel the amusement from Sun though, only making him laugh.

“This is the living room.” You make a grand gesture as you walk a few steps into it. You've got a very large couch, big enough for him to comfortably lay on. There's a recliner near the other entrance that leads back into the foyer. There's a fireplace with lots of little knick knacks on the mantle. There's also a tv on the large coffee table near the couch. There are a few game systems and other things on the shelf under the table. ‘I'm starting to notice a pattern here.’ Moon chuckles as they both notice even more celestial themes in your decorations. Even the throw pillows on your couch had them! Perhaps he was a little biased, but he really likes that fact. He decides to be nice and not mention it, seeing how nervous you already are.

“Anndddd out there is the back porch and stuff!” You point out the glass door on the far side of the room. He follows your lead and steps closer to peer out, nervously fiddling with his ribbons. He doesn't have to breathe, but if he did, it would have hitched as he finally saw the outside. It is… beautiful, and he's still separated from it by the glass doors. He can't see his namesake from this angle, but he can definitely see all the grass and the bright blue sky with all of its fluffy clouds. If he had to describe how they look, he'd say they looked like cotton candy but white. There were also lots and lots of trees further back from the yard, presumably part of the edge of a forest. It takes him a while to finally notice the pool you have as well, the water practically sparkling in the sunlight.

They stand there staring for a long while, only pulled back by your voice. “Do… Do you want to go out?” You ask tentatively. He jolts back, shaking his head and waving his hands. “No, no, no, friend! I'm fine! It just looks really nice out today is all!” He doesn't think he can handle it right now. They've already experienced a lot of sudden change, going outside might be too much for them to process right now.

‘...Maybe…Maybe another time?’ Moon asks hopefully. Sun isn't sure, but wrings his hands and looks at you. When did you start looking so worried? “Why don't we save that for another day?” He requests gently. Both of them are surprised at how much you brighten up at that. “Yeah! We can make a whole day of it!” You beam up at him. He doesn't know why you're so excited at the idea of him going outside, but it makes the thought a little less scary. “Sure thing, friend. That sounds great.” He smiles back at you.

You begin walking back towards the foyer and the stairs, making him remember that there's still one more room left. Oh, now he's all excited again! He'll finally get to see your room! Even Moon is paying more attention as you walk up the stairs, pressing up against Sun's code as he watches through his eyes.

You yawn about halfway down the hall, making Sun flinch at Moon's sudden jolt in their shared headspace. “Are you tired, friend?” He asked, not meaning to be as quiet as he is when he asks it. You look back at him. “Nah, nah, it's just the adrenaline wearing off. Shockingly, having a random animatronic show up in my house got my adrenaline going!” You joke, doing a little motion with your hands. He forces his body to relax despite how tense he still feels. Moon didn't seem to like your answer, based on the annoyance he could feel radiating off his counterpart.

“Well, the quicker you finish showing me your room, the quicker you can rest!” He says, trying to calm Moon down. He really hopes you agree. You nod and go to open your door. It seems like you don't remember your earlier comment about needing to clean up, and Sun definitely wasn't going to remind you now. Not with Moon metaphorically breathing down his throat about getting you to sleep.

You open the door, and in you all went.

You only realize your mistake once you’re all inside your room already. The fading adrenaline kicks back in at full force as you stare in horror at all of the Sun and Moon merch around your room. How the fuck did you forget something like this?! Oh god oh god oh god. You turn ever so slightly to look at Sun, who has gone still and silent as a statue.

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Huh?

What's all this?

Both of them look around your room in shock, any messes swiftly ignored. Your room… is full of their merch… most of it they don't even recognize as official Fazco brand. That fact quickly is left behind as they start walking in further. There's posters around the room, and even a whole board of pins. There's some merch of the others too, and older characters from before the Pizzaplex was made, but most of it was them. You've got little standees and figures on your shelves and dressers. There's keychains hung up in some spots too! The real kicker is the little plush versions of them sitting on your bed, cute little smiles on their faces as they sit against your pillows.

Sun does a full turn around to really take every little detail in. A feeling starts bubbling up in his chest as it really sets in that you definitely know him. Not just him, but Moon too. Both him and Moon know this feeling very well, as Moon starts to cackle inside their head.

They suddenly feel very smug right now. Moon egging him on certainly doesn't help the situation. ‘Looks like your new friend really likes us, eh Sunny?~’ He practically purrs. Sun starts to giggle as he finally looks at you and your horrified, blushing expression.

“So, friend, when were you going to tell me you already knew us?” He teases, delighting in the way your face somehow got even redder. “I- Um- It's not what it looks like-” you try to explain, but he's not having any of that. He doesn't even try to stop his spinning rays and he leans down a little closer to you, amused at the way you squirm. “Oh? Because it sure looks like you really really like us, friend!~” He giggles.

Despite how much he's teasing you, both of them are really very happy. They could count on one hand the amount of adults that bought any of their merch back at the Plex, and even those that did only got one or two things. Every other time was to buy it for their kids. Knowing there is someone who likes them enough to decorate their whole room like this is making them giddy. You must have been destined to be his friend! What luck that out of all the people's houses they ended up in, it was yours!

“Yeah, okay, fine, so sue me! You're silly and cute and I like celestial themes! Plus, all the clown and jester stuff is whimsical and fun! Of course you're my favorites!” You admit harshly, like just saying it is the most embarrassing thing in the world right now. He feels his fans kick on. ‘Did you hear that Sun? We're their favorites!’ Moon exclaims, fizzing with excitement and joy. Seems like even he was too caught up in this feeling to remember that he was supposed to be the weary one!

Sun laughs and pats you on the head. “Well, I'm glad to know you like us so much! Now I don't have to worry about you finding us creepy.” He chuckles. You puff out your cheeks and pout up at him, grabbing his wrist but not pushing him away. “I wish the earth would swallow me right now.” You mutter, only amusing Sun more.

“Come on now friend, it's not that bad! In fact, this is really flattering!” He finally relents. Moon keeps giggling, which Sun lightly swats him in their code for. Eventually you seem to calm down enough to have your heart rate return to mostly normal. “It's mortifying is what it is.” You sigh, adrenaline fading away yet again and leaving you sounding tired.

“Why don't you take a nap? Maybe you'll feel better afterwards. You can cuddle your plushies of us to cheer you up!” He can't resist one more tease, rays spinning faster at the quick glare you give him. You huff and duck out from under his hand and rush behind him, suddenly pushing his back and trying to force him out of your room. “Don't be like that, friend!” He laughs, letting you push him out. “Go explore or something!” You yell, slamming the door shut behind him.

At Moon's insistence, he stays by the door until he's sure you've actually listened to him and gone to take a nap. ‘Good. They definitely need it.’ Moon hums in satisfaction as they hear your soft noises through the door, obviously starting to fall asleep. Sun stands up and walks back to their own room, ready to take a break as well. Mostly just to eagerly talk to Moon more about this fun discovery.

‘Their reaction was hilarious!’ Moon chuckles as Sun lies down on the bed again. “Mhm! They looked so cute, as red as a tomato!” He agrees excitedly. He’s happy to know he doesn’t have to hide Moon’s existence from you, even if he can't let you meet Moon yourself.

“The plushie you was so adorable, Moonie!” He lightly teases his counterpart, delighting in the way Moon got flustered and grumbles, ‘Nowhere near as cute as yours.’ He retorts, as if that was a good comeback. Sun sighs happily. They might be far away from home, but so far it seems like everything will be okay. They can enjoy their time here with you, and then Moon can finally be fixed once they get home. Maybe they could convince you to come visit sometime? Though it would probably have to be a rare thing, considering you said the Plex was nowhere near here.

‘So, what do you think we should do from here?’ Moon asks.

“Hm?”

‘Well we've got plenty of time to ourselves, and Y/N said we should explore.’

Sun thinks about that for a couple seconds. He then sits up. “Exploring does sound fun. Okay, let's do it!” He hypes himself up as he hops off the bed and heads off to really explore every nook and cranny of the place they'd be staying in for a while.
