Work Text:

The next day, Eijirou woke late in the morning, red eyes watching him from the other side of the bed. He grins a bit and reaches out to touch his grumpy husband.
“Mornin’ Kats.”
“Barely.”
“Why so grumpy? Festival doesn’t start until 5.” Eijirou lifts a hand to his mouth and yawns into it.
“‘M not grumpy. My mom has just been blowing up my phone since 5 asking if we were coming to get the hanfu attire she made us.”
Eijirou’s lips move into the shape of an ‘o’ as he nods. As much as he hated upsetting Katsuki’s mom, he wanted to spend time with his husband. He grabs his phone and sends her a text offering to get a late lunch and to pick the items up then. From there, he shifts to tackle his husband from his sitting position back onto the bed. Eijirou peppers kisses on Katsuki’s face before the blonde starts fighting back. He loved feeling how strong his husband was. They tousle for a long while before the pinning dissolves into long kisses and grinding. Hands moving over one another's skin as they strip down to enjoy other aspects of their relationship.
After an hour of play, the two finally leave the bed, breathless, sweaty, and satisfied. Katsuki pulls his large husband to the bathroom and starts the shower, allowing the red head to touch him gently and kiss over the bite marks he’d left on Katsuki’s shoulders and collar bones. He wished his husband didn’t model so he could mark him all over. He loved the look of Katsuki covered in his prints, his fingers left on his thighs and hips, his lips everywhere else. He was too beautiful not to want to stake claim to. Plus, Eijirou had only gone too far once, his sharp teeth puncturing Katsuki’s shoulder. The scar never seemed to upset the other, something he never covered during shoots. The guilt had quickly been washed away the first time he saw his God of a husband posed in something sexy on the cover of a magazine with his bite standing out on his golden skin.
“What are you thinking so hard about?” Katsuki questions, smoothing the little furrow between his husbands brows.
“You. How beautiful you are. How much I like to mark you up and remind everyone else that you’re taken,” he answers bluntly.
Katsuki blushes and pushes Eijirou’s face away from himself. “Shut up, Red.”
Eijirou laughs as he’s pushed into the shower. It is quick, despite Eijirou’s attempts to slow it down. When they were finished, they slide into some semi-warm clothes and pack a single backpack with things they might need at the festival. Eijirou’s stomach was growling loudly at that point, which Katsuki made sure to remind him was his own fault. Arriving at the fancy restaurant near Katsuki’s childhood home took nearly an hour, which had the two a little grumpy. The train was overly full and they were hungry. Mitsuki and Masaru where seating near the middle of the restaurant, menu’s settled in front of them. The couple sits down and Eijirou explains that they were late because he ran out of hair gel and Katsuki had to do his hair. Not exactly a lie, but absolutely not the truth. The elder Bakugou couple doesn’t mention it and simply begins asking about how they have been. Eijirou does most of the talking, Katsuki looking over the menu for the both of them. Lunch was a simple affair where the four ate their fill and kept idle chatter. The four walked back to Katsuki’s childhood home where they were presented with the clothes. Both scurry up the stairs to try the hanfu attire on, beaming at one another. Eijirou gently touches Katsuki’s cheek as he looks over the man. Their attire was mostly the same, black with accents of red. There were small kikyo flowers floating around the hanfu, especially near the bottom.
“You look beautiful,” Eijirou whispers.
“Thanks.” Katsuki rolls his eyes, but was smirking. “And you look handsome.”
After the two take a few minutes to admire the other, they return to the ground floor. Katsuki’s parents look them over to make sure everything was perfect before shooing them out of their home. Hand in hand, the two walk back to the train station, ready for the three hour train ride into Tokyo. They stand for most of the ride, sitting when a seat was available, but giving it up whenever an elder stepped onto the train from a new stop. Eventually, they arrive in Tokyo and head up to the Fukagawa Shrine. It was lively with people dressed in their own elegant attire and some had oni or hanya masks attached to their person. Eijirou keeps his hand in Katsuki’s as they walk through the crowd. When they reach one of the stages, they stop and find a place to sit to watch the performance. From there, Eijirou pulls Katsuki to the area with different food carts, buying a little something from each location for them to try together. As the hours ticked on, the found themselves inside the temple with offerings they had bought from a vender outside. They present them to the shrine, say their prayers, then leave silently. As the night wound down and the chill of autumn began to nip at them, Eijirou pulls Katsuki to one final location; Oyokogawa River. There were small boats dotting the shore and Eijirou pays for one. He is careful as they board the small ship and he rows them out. Once they’re safely near the middle, he pulls the paddles in and takes Katsuki’s hands, admiring the blonde as he admires the moon.
“You know, if we weren’t already married, I’d propose to you right here,” Eijirou whispers.
“Would you now?” Katsuki teases, eyes flicking to Eijirou’s face.
“I would.” He confirms. “You look so beautiful like this. I think the Moon God made you, not the Sun Goddess. You are too beautiful here not have been.”
Katsuki scoffs, looking into Eijirou’s eyes again from the sky. “Dummy, I always look beautiful. Plus, I don’t have the qualities of the Moon God. Too loud and opinionated.”
This makes Eijirou laugh. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. But, you no less beautiful right now.”
“You are such a sap.”
Eijirou nods and leans forward, gently connecting their lips.
