Chapter Text

Axel and Ripper found themselves FaceTiming, sharing laughs and stories across the distance.

“Hey, it’s boiling here,” Axel said, wiping the sweat from her forehead. “What do you say about coming over for a week? We’ve got a pool to chill in, and I could really use some fun company.”

Ripper’s face lit up at the suggestion. His parents often paid little attention to him, leaving him with too much free time and not enough friends around except for Zee and chase “You’d really want me there? Sounds awesome! Where do you live?”

Axel quickly sent over her address, and within minutes, Ripper was already packing his bag, excitement bubbling within him. After a two-hour drive filled with eager anticipation, Ripper found himself at Axel’s house, pulling up in a driveway that was drenched in sunlight, surrounded by lush greenery.

Axel spotted him and rushed outside, waving enthusiastically by the gate. Ripper could hardly believe his eyes; Axel’s radiant smile and vibrant green bikini, partially covered by a casual tank top, took his breath away. She resembled the sun itself.

“Hey! You made it!” Axel greeted him, her eyes sparkling with joy. Ripper got out of the car and was instantly greeted with warmth, not just from the sun but from Axel’s inviting presence. He felt a little nervous, but her energy put him at ease.

As they walked into her expansive backyard, Ripper marveled at the beauty surrounding him. Axel showed him around the house,

kindly helping him with his bag as they moved through the breezy corridors and into the garden.

The laughter of her brothers could be heard as they departed for a fishing trip, leaving Axel with just Ripper and Javi, who was busy studying in his room.

Wow, this place is incredible! But, uh... are your parents around? Ripper asked.

Nah, they took my Three brothers on a fishing trip ,and Javi is studying in his room so he won't be bothering us .

“Is it just us then?” Ripper asked, glancing around.

“Yep! We can have the whole place to ourselves!” Axel replied with a grin. “Let’s hit the pool!”

Once Ripper changed into his swimwear, he was eager to dive in. They quickly made their way to the shimmering waters of the pool, the heat of the day replaced by the refreshing cool of the water.

Ripper jumped in, creating a splash that made Axel laugh.

“Come here!” Axel called out, swimming playfully towards him.

As they floated closer, Axel teasingly brushed her fingers through his hair, and in a sudden playful gesture, she pushed Ripper’s head gently down into the water. He emerged, spluttering and giggling, their laughter echoing in the serene garden.

Hours passed as they took turns splashing each other, racing from one end of the pool to the other, all the while sharing secrets and enjoying each other's company.

The sun began to lower in the sky, painting the atmosphere with hues of orange and pink.

Eventually, they found themselves lying side by side on the sun loungers, soaking in the warmth and the sweet scent of blooming flowers around them.

Ripper sighed contentedly.

“This is amazing. I didn’t think I’d be able to spend a week like this.”

Axel rolled onto her side, propping her head up on her hand, her long hair cascading around her face.

“I’m really glad you came. It’s nice to have someone to hang out with other than my brothers, and I’ve missed you.”

Ripper’s heart skipped a beat.

“I missed you too. It’s crazy how comfortable it feels to be with you.”

They shared a quiet moment, the setting sun casting a golden glow around them. Axel bit her lip, a hint of mischief in her eyes. “So what do you want to do next?”

He leaned closer to Axel, peppering her cheeks and forehead with affectionate smooches, each one accompanied by a teasing comment that had Axel giggling in delight.

"You're too cute for your own good," Axel teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

But just as their laughter filled the air, a familiar face interrupted the moment. Javi, Axel’s second brother, peeked through the window with an amused smirk plastered on his face. “Hey! You two! Knock it off with the kissing!” he called out, unable to hide his laughter.

Axel shot him a playful glare,

her cheeks flushed from the attention. “¡Cállate, Javi! Para de molestar!” she called back in Spanish, her words laced with annoyance but punctuated with a hint of laughter.

Ripper chuckled, nudging Axel playfully. “Brothers, huh?” he said, feigning exasperation with an exaggerated eye roll, which only made Javi laugh louder from the other side of the glass.

“So, when's the rest of your family getting back?” Ripper asked, glancing at Axel as she checked her phone resting on the table.

She leaned back and shrugged, her eyes scanning the screen.

“They should be home around five or something,” she responded, her voice casual but her focus drifting back to Ripper, who was watching her with an adoring smile.

“With my luck, we’ll have to pretend we weren’t just caught in the act,” Ripper teased, standing up and offering his hand to Axel. “Let’s escape to your room.”

“Good idea!” Axel replied, her heart racing with excitement, and she took his hand, leading him inside.

Ripper marveled at Axel's room, his eyes wide as he took in the vibrant décor.

The walls were adorned with portraits depicting imaginative scenes of a zombie apocalypse, a dramatic contrast to the coziness of her space.

Random knick-knacks littered the shelves next to a well-organized collection of video games. A comfortable bed sat in one corner,

piled high with plush pillows, while a tidy desk stood ready for any project Axel might tackle.

“Wow, this place is amazing!” Ripper exclaimed, running his fingers along the edge of a framed picture of a comically menacing zombie.

“You’ve got a real knack for creating an atmosphere!”

Axel laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. “I know, right? I’m basically a zombie apocalypse artist. Just one talent among many!” she declared with a mock dramatic flair.

His gaze settled on the gaming console that gleamed under the soft light of her desk lamp.

“Wait, is that a PS4?” he said, his eyes lighting up at the sight. “You’re a gamer too?”

“Of course!” she said, a grin stretching across her face. “What do you want to play?”

“Let’s go play Mortal Kombat!” he exclaimed, a competitive spark igniting in his eyes.

Axel accepted the challenge, and soon they were nestled together on her bed, controller in hand,
