A long time ago,in a small place near Japan, there was a small nation called Teyvat.
Since the earliest time Teyvat and Japan we’re commercial enemies, on one side Japan with spices and fine fabrics, on the other side Teyvat whit fine food and valuable minerals. The competition aumented as quirk started to take place in society, since most of the nations had quirks having a whole nation without quirk started to become stranger and stranger. Instead of quirk Teyvat had vision, lot more rarer to have then quirks as the vision we’re given by the one called “archon”. The archon we’re 7, one for each type of vision, thes archon we’re also the god and controller of one of the land of Teyvat for each in this way 7 city borned:
Monstad, governed by Barbatos, archon of anemo and god of freedom
Lyiue governed by Morax, archon of geo and god of contracts
Inazuma governed by Ei, archon of electro and god of eternity
Sumeru governed by Buer, archon of dendro and god of wisdom
Fontine governed by Ergelia, archon of hydro and god of justice
Natlan the nation of war, governed by Mavuika, archon of pyro
Snezhnaya, governed by The Tsartisa, archon of cryo and god of love.
There had been a time when Japan wanted and exept to have the possibility to study vision, as they asked each one of the seven archon to help them whit their study but nobody accepted. Angry whit the archon a war started between Teyvat and Japan in wich Japan putted at the first line the best quirks user while Teyvat putted on the line vision possessor. Japan found herself unprepared by the strength and evolution of the visions. Teyvat wined the war but didn’t ask for anything particular to Japan but since then there was an unspoken lore “Never start a fight whit Teyvat or a vision possessor”.
It was around 3pm when, after a refreshing lunch three of the archon finded themself seated around a round table, everybody was full from the big lunch they had not so much ago.
In difference from what most thought during archon runion it wasn’t really expected of everybody to be ther and nothing too serious happened, right now everything was normal, Morax racconting about Lyiue commerce, Ei listening and Barbatos wasted after the fifth bottle of Osmanthus wine gifted to him by Morax. After some time everybody was sited on the table, well actually only two of them, Barbatos was too drunk to even stay seated.
Morax started to talk
“About Japan”
“What about them? Did they take any other initiative?” Ei asked
“No, i just wondered… maybe it would be useful to find out more about their… “quirk” in case they take any other initiative” Morax toughfully said
“And how do you propose we did it?” Ei asked curious
“I found out there's a school in Japan where they admit the ones whit the best quirks, a school to trains their so called “heroes”” Morax said, sounding very informed.
“But how are we supposed to enter the school? For how much human we can lock in our human form we won’t minimally lock like teen…” Ei said and just one moment after both the archon gaze falled on the young-looking god of freedom now completely wasted on the ground incapable to sit properly. Whit just a gaze they made an accord, they we’re going to send Barbatos at this school and tell him he accepted it while he was drunk, this is the perfect plan.
Once the effect of the alcohol weared of Barbatos found himself seated on the table whit the two archon gaze on him, still a bit shaken by the alcohol he gazed back at the two, not much person wold say but the god of freedom always defined as the kindest could make really scary gaze, the only who wern’t so scared we’re the two other archon wich now days have seen his gaze more then one hundred time, they only looked kind of scared when they had to hide something, this time they looked kind of scared so he already had is suspicion.
He looked straight at the two who were slightly sweating under is gaze
“What did you two did while i was out?” He surely wasn’t the god of wisdom but he could tell something was going on. He watched the two archon as they hesitated to answer.
Finally Morax spoke up “Well we just had a plan to infiltrate in a school in Japan to find more about quirks but it wold require you to go in Japan undercover… as a teen…”
“... You could just had asked! I’m going if you are the one arranging everything!” Barbatos answered not really seeming to care.
As they had planed two week after everything was arranged, most thought it was strange for a bard to go oversea but as long somebody paid it wasn’t a problem. He spent most of the time on the board practicing some song, just to spent the time whit some applause by the sailors who founded is songs enjoyable, as the navigated the braze touched the immensity of the ocean creating a beautiful natural contrast. Not much time after they arrived to the port of Japan, Ei told him to not dress as he usually did when in is human form because it wold have been strange to dress like that in Japan and thank Celestia he did it! Nobody dressed like people do in Monstad their clothe were very more simplest. Now the only thing he had to do was reach the house Morax had arranged and wait thill the entrance exam day.
