Vi has never felt this nervous in what feels like years, she has not acted like this since she was reunited with her sister after years. But today was the day that she was finally getting married to the woman that she had decided to spend the rest of her life with. Caitlyn Kiramman she born in piltover nowhere close to where Vi was born and raised, but they still found their way to get together, even through many fights and through many times having to apologize to even having to sleep on the couch; she was overjoyed that she has reached this point in their relationship. As she looked herself in the mirror, she could not believe that she was actually getting married, she was actually using some other clothing than her regular red jackets and her gauntlets but Caitlyn said that she I should not even think about wearing them during the wedding it was also her special day and in the pictures she would not be happy to see those gauntlet on her.
As Vi fixed her final touches on her vest that has little splashed of blue/pink in back of the vest( Cait said that as long and she didn't show them in the actual ceremony pictures that she could decorate as she would like) Vi only looks at her shirt as she gets memories of her sister and how she acted when Vi told her that she and Caitlyn would be getting married. That day Jinxs would not talk to any other person then Isha she was the only person that could be around that Jinx would not immediately start getting mad at. Vi heard a knock at the door and as she turned she saw her best man standing “ Hey how the hell do you do this ?” as Vi saw Ekko struggle to tie his tie “ It's not that hard, I thought you out of most people I know would know how to tie a tie” as she grabs Ekko to help him with his tie “ Well they don’t teach you that when you are trying to survive in the undercity and also take care of a community ” Vi scoffed as she finished helping Ekko.
Vi could only look at Ekko reminiscing how much time has passed since they could go back to having these mundane moments. Vi had to thank Caitlyn for knowing a lot of people that could help with the wedding since most of the decorations and the color scheme, was done by Mel if Vi remembered correctly that’s her name she has picked these dark blue with gold accessories to go with Vi’s groomsmen and her best woman (yes she did not have a lot of people to stand next to her with but it was the people that she trusted her life with). While for the side of Caitlyn it was even smaller but it was Jayce as her best man he is wearing a more ashy pink with gold accessories on them. For Ekkos outfit is was a dark blue suit with gold accessories near the buttons and the sleeve the way that it is decorated on the inside it has a E embroidered on the inside stating exactly who's jackets was who's but not only that but on the sleeve it also had a very small V stating for which side Ekko would be stating. Which was dumb he remembers which person he would be best man but he guessed if anyone wanted to change the order he could stand his ground.
Ekko spoke out, snapping Vi for her thought and making her come back to the conversation. “ So umm do you know Jinx is also going to come to the wedding?” as Ekko wonders Vi looks at him in confusion “ Yea I think like I sent her an invite and she told me that she would be here with Isha, why? Don’t tell me that you are still angry at her” Ekko ponders for a second what his answer would be to Vi’s question “ Well we are not mad at each other if that is what worries you, but, I don't know things have been super awkward between us”. “Well I guess you guys figure that out because you are going to be standing next to her for a while” Vi answered with a playful tone as she saw her sister coming through the door she saw her sister and her niece staging holding her sisters hand. “Wow Vi you look good well I think that you should have a bit more color in your whole you know ‘white suit’ but you know it still looks good” Vi could not believe that her sister gave her a kinda complement “Well yea I know that you are way more colorful but you also look good “ Jinx was wearing this dark blue gown it was not anything flashy it was just a simple dress that had pockets which made Jinx as excited as ever. “ Yea thank you or whatever, but look at this cutie look at her in her dress and her little crown she help me make it “ Isha was wearing a light gold dress with little dark blue and pink flower on the sleeves and on the bottom of the dress, she was wearing a crown made with fake pink,white, and blue flowers.
“ At what time does the ceremony start ?” Jinx asked no one in particular “ you two should be starting to head down soon since we are going to start in about 30 minutes-ish. “ I’ll start heading down now, maybe i'll meet someone I know in this posh party “ Ekko says, leaving the room without a response from either sister, as Vi and Jinx see Ekko leaving. “ I think I should also get going since I need to see if any bitch decided to wear a stupid white dress or anything related” Jinx's winks at Vi and leaves Isha still at hand but before she is able to walk out of the room Isha runs back to her aunt to give her a final hug before the ceremony.
On the other side of the venue there stood Caitlyn in her stunning white floor length gown. There were gold details like she had a very small cupcake designed near her heart. It was verily visible but it was still something that reminded Caitlyn of Vi. She was also wearing a pair of laced gloves that had little gold detail. She heard steps coming closer to her room as the door was slowly opening she saw Jayce with his baby pink suit with his initials on the inside of his jackets while Ekko has Vi’s initials on his sleeve Jayce has Cait’s on his. “Wow I still can’t believe that baby Cait is getting married before I am” Jayce states even though he should not sound as proud as he is now but he is still talking proudly about Caitlyn. Caitlyn would not admit this to anyone but she feels like a nervous wreck but there are no words, not even a single combination of words that could describe the way that Caitlyn feels at the moment. “ I think you should get going to the ceremony and get ready to see me getting married” Caitlyn states looking at Jayce with the calmest tone that she can muster, Jayce does not even hesitate to leave as Caitlyn’s advice. From the area that Caitlyn is getting ready in she could hear the people coming into and finding their seats. “Did I not just tell you to start to get ready and into your position” Caitlyn states as her back is still turned to the door, she turns around to see her father standing looking at her with amazement “Cait you look so much like your mother, I know that she is here with us and I know that she would not be prouder at you at this moment sweetheart” He tearfully states as he caresses his daughters cheek wiping a slow tear falling out of her eye.
Caitlyn can hear Vis ' song of choice as she walks down the aisle. It was tribute to her mother's favorite song Curtis Harding- Our love ft. Jazmine Sullivan, since she remembers that she would play that song for some special occasions like when she told her that she would be becoming an older sister. She could see her girlfriend trying to contain her emotions as she was being walked down the aisle by her adopted dad ( that is now a kinda beast that is still him somehow ) but as soon as she heard Vander sitting down in the area that was dedicated only for him and his granddaughter. Caitlyn grasps her fathers arm as he is walking down with her but also has Isha already dropping the flower petals before she would start walking down the aisle. She has at last glance at the people that are in attendance which on both sides is pretty empty since they decided to not invite as many people to the wedding since the public is going to know either way so it's better to at least enjoy this little time they can have with their families. On Caitlyn’s side of the family there is her father, Mel, some distant family,some of the enforcers and somehow even though Vi did not want to invite her they invited Maddie even though she looks at Vi with a massive death glare in the way that only rivals that like to kill each other should look at one another. She also has in the front row an empty seat with her mothers picture.
While for Vi’s side of the seats it was even more empty with even more drawing of the people that Vi has lost through her life. On the front row is a drawing of her parents sitting next to each other, next to them in a drawing of Milo with a picking lock tools, and Claggor with a pair of round glasses, and that was about it of course there was Vander and Isha sitting on her side but she did not want to invite any other people to her wedding. As on cue Caitlyn’s song of choice started playing and of course she decided to go for the classic here comes the bride song she looks ahead as she sees victor? What was he doing here Caitlyn ponders as she is walking down the aisle with her father holding her. As she looks up at what would be her future wife she sees the most beautiful person she has ever seen, Vi looks at her with teary eyes that look like they are about to start rolling down her cheeks. Caitlyn feels a mix of emotions, she feels proud and she feels like this is the best day of her life but she also feels like crying, she does not feel sad she is so happy that her eyes can’t stop watering. As she reaches the altar she looks at Vi in the eyes and the only thing staring back at her is the most love filled eyes she has ever seen.
“Welcome, family and friends to the marriage of Vi and Caitlyn” Victor states in a formal tone, he is wearing a black suit with a small amount of a darker purple on the sleeves and on the pocket . “ Please refrain from speaking during the ceremony and also please do not make any loud noises or you will be excreted”. Victor asks in a warning tone that makes everyone in the room get even quieter than they were before. “ This couple met a few years ago, their love story started back when Caitlyn needed help finding someone in the undercity and she asked Vi for her help and after that it is all history. Even though they have had fights here and there they still stayed together and they did not let any type of obstacle defeat them” As Victor is talking the only thing that Vi and Caitlyn can do is wait for Victor to finish talking and look lovingly at each other. “ Now if I may Vi’s best woman and her best man are going to say some words about this loving relationship” Victor states as he lets jinx be able to get her time to speak about her sister and her relationship “ Vi is one of the strongest fighter I have even met, she has never ever talked about having any type of relationship outside of a fight with any person, so you can guess the surprise that I felt after she told me that she started dating this girl, I actually did not believe her I really thought that she was playing a prank on me but as we can see today it was not a prank. But I am so proud that she was able to find you Caitlyn even though we did not get along very well at the start of you guys relationship” Jinx reads out of the card that she had taken out of her pockets, she signals Ekko to start talking and for him to say his words “I have known Vi since we were both kids but to see her now getting married is something that I never expected to see you and getting married but I’m very happy to be able to be part of this moment of your life” Ekko shows that he was flustered after having to talk in that manner in front of all of these people (even though there were not as many people he still did not talk about anybody in that manner) “ Now Jayce what would you like to say about the bride Caitlyn and about Caitlyn and Vi relationship” Victor asks with a subtle venom in his voice “ Cait I am so happy to be able to be part of this mile store of your life and not only that but be able to stand with you on these moment, I know that if your mother would be here she would be proud and happy to see the way that you turned out to be” Jayce said's proudly as he looks at Caitlyn as she tires to hold back tears.
“ Thank you for all of these kind words” Caitlyn says as he looks around and sees the people that have come to see these special moments with them. “Know if you would let us decide the brides are going to start exchanging their vowels” Victors speaks as he looks at Caitlyn since she already has her notes with her written vowels on her hands. “ I have been trying to write this short exchange of words for month now, but no matter how hard I look for the words I still can’t find the write amount or the correct combination of them to show not only you but also the people that are here today all of the love and appreciation that I have for you. We only met each other in a short amount of time and regardless of all of the chaos that surrounded us the moments that I have spent with you have been the best of my life. I not only want to spend all of my days with you but I desire to spend every living moment with you I want to make you the happiest woman In the whole world and for you to be satisfied with me” After Caitlyn finishes she still looking down trying her best to not cry but as tries to not cry she can hear a very small sniffling coming from her future wife. Caitlyn looks up to see Vi crying not enough to ruin the very small amount of makeup that she has on but enough to make Caitlyn immediately start crying.
As Vi tries to make herself stop crying she looks softly at her paper trying her best to get rid of that lump on the back of her throat. “ Today will always be one of the most important days of my life. This and the day I became an older sister will always be my favorite day of my life. I will never forget the day that we met even though we met under not the best conditions but if I could go back and change anything I wouldn't change a single thing. You are the best thing that could even happen to me, and yes I would not only adore to spend the rest of my life and all of my future lives with you. Even through all of the fights, long night, good, and bad times I still would give anything to relieve the moments I have spend with you”Caitlyn has been holding her tears back for the most part of the ceremony but she had reached her limit she began sobbing there was no way to stop her she and Vi stud looking at each others eyes and smiling as she puts her cards back in her pocket. “Now if I may please bring out the rings” Victors states as he stretches his arm out making most of the people turn to see who would bring out the rings and then out of nowhere Heimerdinger walks out with two rings on the top side of a light pink pillow. As Heimerdinger walks down the aisle he reaches the brides” Here you go Caitlyn congratulations for getting married” He states with a small smile on his face. Vi goes for Caitlyn's ring; her ring has a rather small but still beautiful pink stone with gold and silver surrounding the wedding band. While for Vi’s ring hers was bigger but they were the same except for her blue stone it was a very dark blue on the inside of both of the rings there was a very small drawing that they could only understand regardless where they were they would both be reminded of each other the inside has a very small cupcake drawing. As Vi and Caitlyn exchange’s their rings they stare into each other’s eyes at each other in a manner that only the most passionate should look at each other. “Now you Caitlyn do you take Vi you be your lawfully wife for sickness and in health” Caitlyn was in a loss of words not because she was doubting but she could still not believe that she is able to marry the woman or her choosing “ Yes” Caitlyn states is she is gleefully as she started to stare at her future wife’s blue eyes. “And for you Violet do you take Caitlyn as your lawfully wedded wife. For you to not only love but also appreciate in sickness and in health” Victor asks as he looks at Vi “ Yes” said in a tone that most people in that ceremony have never heard from Vi. “well with the power invested in me I pronounce you wives, now you may kiss the bride”. As the words leave Victor's mouth Vi and Caitlyn were already sharing a passionate kiss, nothing that was out of common especially when you hang out a lot around them. As they finished their kiss they looked around the room Caitlyn’s father crying Maddie looking like was ready to fight Vi at any moment she looked. While for Vi’s side of the family Vander was happily looking at Vi with a thrilled about Vi’s new chapter of her life while for Isha she had a disgusted face as she saw her aunt and what would become her new aunt kiss. “Are you ready to start heading down for the party?” Caitlyn aske's with a smile “Of course now let's get walking”. Vi holds Caitlyn's hand She believes that even though they have held hands more times that she could ever count this time it felt different, it felt even better and they also felt softer somehow.
