"Well," Tobirama said with a sigh, "you will take my last name."
"Excuse me?" Madara mocked him, "Don't be stupid; you're the one who must do that."
Tobirama rolled his eyes; if Hashirama wasn't married, he shouldn't have tolerated that situation, but Butsuma and Tajima were tired of the war, and they decided to marry their sons to each other as a peace treaty. Of course, Tobirama demanded that Izuna wouldn't be his husband, never, because in Tobirama's mind, if a person was more annoying than Madara, he was Uchiha Izuna.
"I already said you," Tobirama said. "In Senju's culture, our husband or wife must take our last name."
"I don't give a damn," Madara said. "I'm older and stronger."
"Why do you have to be a problem?"
"Anyway, you must wear black."
"I won't wear black like an emo." Tobirama said, "Forget that ridiculous idea."
"Shut your fucking mouth," Madara snapped. "We and our spouses have always worn black in our weddings."
"I don't give a damn," Tobirama repeated and smirked.
Tajima sighed, he was too tired of all that situation, not even knowing how many times Madara had argued with Tobirama about stupid things; what did it matter a last name or a color? Right, they were Uchiha and Senju traditions but they weren't more important than peace.
"Nii-san, don't allow him to look at you like that," Izuna advised, "and you, don't put that stupid smile."
"Enough," Tajima barked. "I'm fed up with you two. You will get married and get along, even if you don't want it. And you shut up Izuna."
Izuna put on his best offended face but said nothing; in fact, none of them said anything; even Tobirama, with his arrogance, knew when he must shut his mouth. Tajima, as well as Butsuma, were powerful shinobi who had earned respect. So, Tajima forced Madara to go on a trip with Tobirama, because he thought that was a good idea to get them along.

Tobirama sighed, bored with the situation; Madara wasn't collaborating with anything; in fact, the only thing Madara had been doing was staring at Tobirama, but he didn't say anything.
"You need to do your part," Tobirama said "You listened to what your father said."
"Don't threaten me with my father," Madara barked. "Don't be an idiot."
Tobirama rolled his eyes and sighed, Madara was behaving like a child. "Stop kicking me," Tobirama argued, and Madara screamed when he hit him on the leg.
"Don't hit me, brat," Madara barked and kicked Tobirama a few more times, but Tobirama didn't allow that behavior without hitting his leg again; however, Madara didn't admit that it hurt. "You hit like a little girl."
"We are adults; we should create a jutsu or something, not do that," Tobirama said.
"I won't do anything with you," Madara argued; he couldn't understand why his father paid for a room with only one bed.
Madara and Tobirama sighed, lying next to each other. They had never been friends, and it was too difficult for them to start suddenly. Of course, they understood the peace importance, but they had fought since they were children; how could they love each other?
"Good night," Tobirama said, but he wasn't sleepy.
"Hmm," Madara said and he wasn't sleepy either.
Madara was restless in bed; the concerns didn't allow him to sleep; he couldn't stop thinking about his marriage to a Senju; maybe if that Senju was Hashirama, he could marry his best friend, at least, but Hashirama was already married to an Uzumaki. Tobirama didn't complain; after all, he couldn't sleep either.
"We should try," Tobirama said, "we must married, after all."
Madara sighed. "I know, but it isn't easy."
Tobirama was silent for a while before giving an idea. Maybe it wasn't his best idea, but it could work; at least, Madara seemed interested.
"Do you wanna start? Tobirama asked him, but Madara decided Tobirama had to start. "It's ok, so tell me what your favorite memory is."
Madara thought for a moment; he didn't have many good memories; his childhood was damaged by the war, and his teenage years only served to improve his abilities.
"Maybe it was meeting Hashirama," Madara said. "Before him, only in my life was the war and trying to survive." he sighed when Tobirama wanted to know more. "My mom died when I was a child, and dad was never too loving with us, I had other brothers, but they died too... So, meeting Hashirama was a way to protect Izuna."
"I don't have any good memories," Tobirama confessed. "Not even can remember my mom, I was too young when she died... and dad, well, dad was only interested in winning the war."
Madara felt a little bad, but he wasn't good at improving their mood. "And so, what's your worst memory?
Tobirama stared at him for a while; Madara could be stupid even if he didn't want to.
"It was probably when my brother died. I was used to death, but that day my father punched Hashirama because he was crying... I knew I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. And yours?
"When mommy died," Madara said.
"Our past was some depressed," Tobirama said with a forced smile. "We'll talk about our future... what are your plans?
"Marry with you and have our children" Madara joked.
"It isn't a problem," Tobirama said. "I will solve it with a jutsu."
"No!" Madara said, he knew Tobirama very well and knew he was the best creator of forbidden jutsus. "Forget it." Tobirama couldn't help but laugh hard, and Madara hit on his arm. "You're an idiot."
"My plans are pregnant my husband," Tobirama said and laughed so badly when Madara screamed at him. "No, calm down, don't kick me."
Madara smiled. "You Are a fool... but maybe not too much."
"Shut up and sleep already," Tobirama laughed; he didn't know if that was an offense or praise.
Madara turned over in bed and the silence filled the room for a moment. "When I was a kid my mom sewed a teddy bear for me... Nobody knows but I am used to sleeping with it. I didn't bring it here because I was ashamed.
"Why do you tell me that?" Tobirama asked.
Madara sighed. "I need to be embraced for sleeping."
And for a while, Tobirama couldn't believe it, he was the greatest Uchiha, the most powerful sharingan, a death machine... but he asked for his arms too. And Tobirama said nothing, just embraced him, and they slept.
