When 7-year-old Yuta was on the bus with Rika-chan, he pointed at the person with white hair sitting in front.
"Hey Rika-chan, I have magic, watch me turn the person in front into a super handsome guy!"
The white-haired boy laughed and turned back to look at the two kids in the back seat, intending to use a teasing tone.
"What are you two playing? Let me play too"
The 7-year-old boy gasped at the white-haired guy's handsomeness that couldn't be hidden by sunglasses. Yuta gently shook his childhood friend's arm.
"Ah! Rika-chan Rika-chan, I really have magic!!"
The guy wearing sunglasses patted Yuta's head.
"Ahahaha, you're so cute"
Rika puffed her cheeks in jealousy
“I don't think he looks that handsome..”
Yuta tilted his head in bewilderment, is he the only one who finds this white-haired guy super handsome? Obviously the girls around were also staring at him. Gojo raised his eyebrows at the chestnut haired girl.
"And you're not cute at all, huh"
Rika stuck out her tongue and clung tightly to her childhood friend's arm as if afraid that Yuta would be snatched away by this suspicious white-haired man. Gojo rested his cheek against the backrest of the bus seat.
“Do you two want to go get ice cream with me?”
Puppy eyes immediately lit up, Yuta nodded vigorously while the girl next to him frowned.
“Hey! Yuta, don't go, this guy wearing sunglasses looks super suspicious, maybe he's planning to kidnap us."
Yuta's happy face suddenly sagged, he turned to look closely at the handsome face smiling brightly at him. And of course the 7-year-old boy only felt his heart pounding with happiness, without any feeling of insecurity.
“How can someone this handsome be a bad person..?”
Rika frowned sternly and gently poked her childhood friend's nose, causing him to startle and let out a small squeal. Gojo laughed at how cute they both were.
“Didn't you hear our teacher say 'You can't judge a book by its cover'? Just because he's handsome doesn't necessarily mean he's a good person."
Yuta pouted a bit because he really wanted to go..
"But…"
Gojo laughed at the two kids' silly but no less serious conversation. He reached out and patted both of their heads.
“This girl is right, you are..Yuta, right? Don't follow strangers so easily, it's very dangerous~"
Seeing the boy's sad expression made Gojo feel a bit guilty, he took out two candies from his pocket and placed them in both of their hands.
"I also have work to deal with right now. Next time if I have a chance to meet again, I'll invite you two to eat ice cream, okay?"
Receiving the transparent blue candy, the kid's eyes of the same color lit up, and his tiny hands clenched tightly against his chest as if he were cherishing an extremely valuable treasure.
'It makes me want to protect him so much~'
Feeling the frustrated eyes of the little girl next to Yuta still directed at him, Gojo waved before stepping off the bus.
“Next time, I won't be a stranger anymore, so it's okay to go get ice cream together, right?”
Yuta smiled brightly and waved back at the white-haired guy. In today's 7-year-old child's scribbled diary, there is a clumsy drawing of a super cool guy wearing sunglasses and a star-shaped candy carrying the silly promise of a sunny autumn day.
Yuta was holding a crayon and scribbling, tilting his head wonderingly.
“I forgot to ask that nii-san's name.. next time I'll definitely have to ask! Hehe”
