Theodore was tired, he had started having more of these...animals?
"We're stuffed animals!" The pink bunny yelped, reading his mind somehow.
Well, stuffed animals, they were annoying him. His father didn't eat with him again, or do anything with him. That night, Theo fell asleep, still stressed with the pressure of how he'll be the head of this place, of how he needs to be better for his father, how he needs to be an adult
That morning Dino was in his office. There was a knock on Theodores bedroom door, it was Albrect.
"Young master Theodore, since your father has the day off he had requested I take you out to a musem for you to gain some knowledge."
Theodore nodded, getting up and getting dressed. He knew all to well that Albrect wasn't telling the truth, his Father wouldn't ask of such a thing. Albrect was most likely getting him out of the manor. Nonetheless, Theodore made his way downstairs, his book in hand. Theodore was suprised when he saw his father waiting for him, along with Albrect by his side. "Your coming Father?" Theodore asked quiertly but poliete. Careful not to annoy his Father. Dino simply nodded "Delico decided we'd all go to the muesum today, then the park." his father grumbled a bit annoyed. Theodore just nodded, following Dino and the loyal. The ride there was quiet, Theodore just looking out the window.
"Theo..your presence seems to be a nusience!"
"Theo...your dad doesnt even want to be with you..how pitiful"
"Theo....Theo....!"
Theodores grip tightened on the book, these stupid stuffed animals! He doesn't even know where they come from! Albrect spoke up "Young master Theodore?" Theodore looked up, noticing his Father had left and Albrect was standing outside the carrige. Theodore didnt respond, getting up slowly and walking out, Albrect following behind with a slight worried expression, before masking it.
Theodore walked inside, seeing the other children and his Father, Delico, Gerhard, and Henrique. Theodore slowly followed the annoyingly free spirted children, who roamed excitedly, Henrique playing with them.
"You cant stand to look at those children..can you Theo?" the litle mouse said.
Theodore paused, stopped walking. He hated these creatures.
"So Nausiating, right?"
"Poor Theo..nobody understands them"
As the stuffed animals continued, Theodore stood there before they all vanished. Theodore opened his eyes, not realizing he closed them. Infront of him was a shorter boy, most likely by a two inches. The boy had soft red eyes, which could captivate anyone, including Theodore. The boy had curly white hair, which was slightly long, and tan skin. Theodore blinked, looking around, it was just them. He was..left behind.
"Are..you okay..?" The boy spoke, soft and angelic. There was a hint of curiosity in this red eyes. Theodore nodded, "Do, you know where the people infront of me went? They were children and uh, some adults." The boy shook his head, curls bouncing slightly. "No, I saw you alone standing so.." He said with a frown. The boy blinked, before stating. "I 'll help you find them!" He said determined. Theodore paused, shaking his head. "I can do it on my own, thanks." The boy gasped, with a soft pout. "Please? I wanna help!" The boy said determined. Theodore sighed, he could tell if he said no the boy wouldn't relent. "Okay, but whats your name?" The boy smiled , "Ryu! Ryu Klov!" Theodore blinked,taken aback. "Youre the son..of the Klov family?" The Klov family was noble, and strong. Not as strong as Delico but they could hold up a fair match.
"Youre..uhm...?" The boy, Ryu, softly asked, worried about something. "Theodore..Classico.." Ryu smiled . "Okay! Now we're friends!" Theodore scowled "Why would we be friends? We just met?" Ryu blinked. "Cause! Mom says when we introduce ourselves we can become friends! I wanna be friends with you!" Theodore grumbled. "Its not like we're ever gonna see each other after this.." Ryu frowned. "Please? " Theodore sighed, "Okay.." Ryu smiled even more, practically bouncing up and down. "Okay! Now let's find your group!" Ryu said determined. Theodore nodded.
The two roamed around, "Ryu.." Theodore softly said, a slight blush at the thought of them being friends. "Hm?"
Ryu hummed, looking for tall man with glasses and grey hair, like Theodore had explained. "Who are you even with? and where are they?" Ryu didnt respond for a moment, looking at something the new mueseum displayed.
" Im with a nany, mom and dad were busy.." Ryu explained, small frown. Theodore nodded, sorta feeling guilty for reminding him. "Uhm..do you wanna go in there..?" Theodore asked softly, pointing towards a shop inside the mueseum. Ryu nodded excitedly, a 180 from before.
The two explored the store, Theodore blinked at a realization, the stuffed animals stopped. Ryu brought back a small bunny with red eyes, eyes shining. Theodore slightly blushed, “This is for you! Theo!”
Theodore was taken aback, then nodded. “Thanks..wait how did you buy this.?”
Ryu smiled, Theodore felt his heart flutter a little. “Uh the house lady gave me a few coins, but its a secret!” Ryu explained happily. Theodore glanced at a clock, wait it’d been almost and hour since he split up from the group. Theodore shook hos head, it’s fine. Father wouldn’t be looking for him. “Ryu, how old are you anyway?”
Ryu hummed, “I turned..six..? Yeah six! Last week!” Oh, so Ryu is only a year younger then him. There was a lady running towards them, white hair and grey eyes. “Ryu! Klauv! Whered you go running off!?” She yelled, lecturing the boy, who smiled and grabbed Theodores hand. “I found a friend!” Ryu said happily. The woman sighed, looking at Theodore with a soft expression. “I’m glad you two weren’t alone, where are you supposed to be?” She said softly. Theodore nodded “Im Theodore, and im supposed to be with my Father and the others. But..” Theodore paused, should he tell her they left him? “Theo found me after a ran into him on the way to the restroom! So we went looking for you! Then we both got lost on the way..!” Ryu said too cheerful, as he was telling a blantant lie. Theodore just nodded, the lady seemed to buy it as she nodded. “Well i’m glad you helped him, now its only fair we help you find your father, right Ryu?”
Ryu nodded, Theodore followed the lady, Ryu right by his side. Theodore still head the small bunny stuffed animal. Theodore faintly smiled, he liked this one. Eventually, after walking around the large museum, they ran into Dali with Angelico and Rapheal coming back from the restroom.
“Theodore, hey you got split up, are you okay?” He asked, worried. Rapheal and Angelico peaked from behind him. Theodore nodded, “I was with Ryu, and his caretaker found us.” The caretaker bowed. “Thank you ma’am. I’ll return him to his father.” Dali said smiling, Theodore followed Dali, looking behind him for a breif moment to see Ryu waving at him with a sad expression. Theodore waved back, showing him the bunny stuffed animal he still has, smiling. Ryu’s expression lightened a bit, then Theodore turned around.
“Whose that?” Angelico asked, curious.
“He’s a new friend..he bought me a bunny.”
Dali smiled softly, they met up with the others. Dino noticed Theodore, scowling.
“Where’d you run off too?” Dino grumbled. “Your going to be the head of the head of the Classico house! You can’t always go where you please you know?” Dino lectured, Henrique grabbed Dino’s shoulder. “Hey, he’s not harmed, and you should’ve been watching him better, y’know the mission right?” Dino huffed.
“I’m sorry father.” Theodore said looking down fidgeting with the small stuffed bunny in his hands. Dino just huffed, clicking his tongue and walking off. “Lets look at the last exhibit and then leave okay?” The kids cheered, Theodore just tagged along, bunny in his hands as he walked.
Later that night, Theodore was at his desk. Playing with the small stuffed animal.
“I thought you weren’t a kid..Theo”
The hallucinations started, Theodore squeezed the white bunny, lip wobbling.
“Shut up…” Theodore mumbled.
The hallucinations began, and continued. There was a knock on the door, before it came open. Albrect walked in, carrying a tray of dinner. Albrect set down the tray, bowing. Albrect noticed the small stuffed animal on Theodores desk. “Who gave you that?” He asked, curious. “A kid, his name was Ryu Klauv.” Albrect blinked suprised. “You met Folm Klauv’s son?”
Theodore nodded. “yeah..he was really smart for a six year old, he knew a lot and he was really nice.” Theodore said with a small smile. Albrect nodded,”im glad you met someone you adore, perhaps we should meet with him again.?” Theodore’s eyes brighten, and he nods. “I’d like that..” Albrect smiled, nodding and exiting the room.
