Little 6 year old Bi-han was extremelly upset, his mom was going to have a baby, they were’nt satisfied with dad adopting a kid named Tomas they had to make another baby, and he was not having that no way.
“Big brother, hey brother.... hey bi-haaaan" Tomas called repeatedly
“ugh what do you want annoying?” Bi-han said grumpy as he was rolling in his bed upset about the new member of the family that would be gettting here soon.
“I just wanted to ask how did mommy got a baby, did she ate kuai liang?”
“No dumbass kuai is just growing inside her like a parasite”
“but he is a baby how can he grow inside mom?”
“idk im not a baby or a mom”
“okay I hope he can come soon I’m excited”
“I don’t remember asking if you were”
Tomas showed him the tongue called him rude and went out of the room to go to the kitchen while Bi-han had to get out of his bed to eat breakfast.
Mom was there she was making pancakes in many shapes, Bi-han's favorite were moon shaped pancakes or sun shaped ones, just anything related to the universe. He ate down while hearing mom’s conversation with the adopted kid while he ate his pancakes in silence and drank his chocolate milk.
Days later it was the day Kuai would be born finally, his dad took him and Tomas to a big room full of nurses coming out of and he felt nervous, what was going on?
He finally spotted his mom on the hospital bed, she was looking exhausted but was smilling to a tiny something in her arm, that was their baby brother Kuai Liang,
When mom showed them the baby Bi-han felt like the time stopped it was just him and the baby, as he touched the baby’s tiny head he felt as if he was touching something precious and couldn’t help but feel warm inside, he never felt something like this before, this was his baby brother, his special Kuai Liang, someone he would protect and make happy.
Tomas was also excited and kissed the baby’s forehead, the baby opened his eyes but was really calm as he looked up and mom was putting him closer to her.
During the first days everything was new they were taking turns to wake up during the night to help mom take care of the baby even thought she said it was fine they were just too excited with their baby brother to not do it.
Bi-han loved to pick up the baby and help him sleep by singing him a lullaby his mom used to sing to him when he was younger and upset, it was his favorite song so Kuai might enjoy it too. Tomas would sing by his side trying not to be too noisy and scare the baby.
As Kuai was growing up he was mostly quiet he didnt cry much expect when he needed something and wasn’t a demanding baby so it was pretty easy to take care of him, his first words, his first steps, his first everything was always so calm and quietly done.
They were celebrating Bi-han's 9th birthday and he was more focused in getting a cake his brother would like.
“Mom can we get a chocolate cake?” Bi-han asked as he saw his mom baking, Tomas was by her side helping or actually running around the table and putting his finger on everything, and Kuai was in his high baby chair drinking his chocolate milk.
“But you like strawberry honey...” mom said confused
“Yeah but Kuai likes chocolate can we do chocolate cake with strawberry on top?”
“Well we can but its your birthday are you sure you don’t want to pick a flavor for you?” mom asked again just to be sure
“I am” Bi-han said then went up close to Kuai ruffled his hair and kissed his head gently
“Big bwo” Kuai said smilling and clapped his hands to his big brother
“yes baby its me” Bi-han said kissing his cheek
“Kissy?”
“Do you want to give me a kiss?” Bi-han asked
“hummm” kuai hummed afirmatively as his brother approached his face towards him he kissed his cheek happily.
They had a good time with Bi-han helping more than Tomas in baking the cake and Kuai quietly watching them and tasting the batter to make sure it was good.
They had a simply party with just the family but it was really good. They watched the lion king and Kuai cried during the movie and they had to take some minutes for Bi-han and Tomas to hug him and make sure he was alright and would be able to keep watching the movie.
They also played some games like uno, since Kuai didn’t know how to play they just let him pick whatever card he wanted and put it on the pile of cards, and would pretend he won making the toddler happy.
By the time the night came Bi-han being the good brother he is, picked up Kuai to put him on his bed
“good night Kuai sleep well” Bi-han said kissing his head
“good night is there a monsta under the bed?” Kuai asked scared
“I’ll take all the bad monsters okay?”
“pwease”
“okay now go to sleep its late”
“night night big bwo”
Bi-han smiled looking at his precious brother and went to sleep too.
Both BI-han and Tomas grew up to be very protecting big brothers to Kuai who was very spoilled by them.
