Work Text:
The atmosphere in the agency's office was unusually lighthearted as Tsumugi Aoba leaned over a table scattered with colorful brochures and handwritten notes. A gentle smile curved his lips, though his eyes betrayed a flicker of nervous anticipation. Across from him, Anzu nodded thoughtfully, a clipboard in hand, while Sora Harukawa practically bounced with excitement, his bright energy filling the room.
“Tsumugi-senpai, this is perfect ! Master is going to love it!” Sora chirped, spinning a pen between his fingers. “After all, the big live was such a success. This is like a well-deserved reward for Switch, don’t you think?”
Tsumugi chuckled softly, scratching the back of his neck. “I suppose so, but I want this to be something… special. Natsume-kun always puts so much effort into everything—this time, I want him to relax and enjoy himself. He deserves that much.”
Anzu nodded in agreement, flipping through her notes. “You’re thoughtful as always, Tsumugi-kun. I’ve marked a few places where you could go. Some are more laid-back, while others might appeal to Natsume-kun’s unique interests.”
“Unique is right!” Sora added with a laugh, holding up a flyer for an art exhibit. “This one has lots of flashy displays, like Master’s magic tricks! Oh, and this nature retreat has these cozy cabins—perfect for stargazing together. Don’t you think he’d love that, senpai?”
Tsumugi’s cheeks turned faintly pink as he looked at the suggestions. “Maybe... he does enjoy stars. It’s calming, like a little escape from the city.”
Anzu exchanged a knowing glance with Sora, suppressing a smile. “Then we’ll make it happen. Between the three of us, I’m sure we can plan a date Natsume-kun will never forget.”
As the conversation deepened, the table became a sea of possibilities. Brochures overlapped with handwritten schedules, and Sora’s artistic doodles began to fill the margins of Anzu’s meticulous notes. Tsumugi watched as the two worked with focused enthusiasm, a warm sense of gratitude blooming in his chest. He wasn’t used to being the center of attention like this, but the thought of creating something meaningful for Natsume filled him with quiet determination.
“I think we should plan something that balances excitement with calm moments,” Anzu suggested, tapping her pen thoughtfully. “Natsume-kun’s energy can be unpredictable, and he might appreciate something that lets him unwind after the live.”
“That makes sense,” Tsumugi agreed. “He puts so much of himself into every performance—he must be exhausted, even if he doesn’t show it.”
“And we can’t forget to make it fun!” Sora chimed in, twirling his pen in a playful arc. “Master doesn’t like boring things, right? Sora thinks we should add some surprises!”
Tsumugi tilted his head in thought. “Surprises? Like what?”
Sora grinned, eyes sparkling with mischief. “Like magic shows or little puzzles! Sora thinks if you left him clues to follow, like a treasure hunt! It’s romantic and entertaining!”
Anzu’s eyes lit up. “That’s a great idea, Sora! Maybe we could create a small itinerary with hidden hints leading to different activities—each one tailored to something Natsume-kun loves. He’d have to solve the clues to figure out what’s next.”
Tsumugi hesitated, his cheeks turning pink again. “That sounds… elaborate. Do you think Natsume-kun would enjoy something like that?”
“Of course Master would!” Sora declared confidently, striking a pose. “Master loves anything clever and thoughtful. Plus, Senpai will be there, so it’ll mean even more to Master.”
Tsumugi’s heart fluttered at the thought. He could already picture Natsume’s curious smile as he deciphered each clue, the way his golden eyes would gleam with excitement. It was an image that both thrilled and terrified him. “If you both think it’s a good idea… I’ll trust you.”
Sora clapped his hands, practically vibrating with excitement. “Then it’s settled! Let’s plan a day full of magic and mystery!”
Anzu smiled warmly. “We’ll start with something simple, like a relaxing walk or a nice meal. Then we’ll build up to the surprises. And of course, we’ll end the day with something unforgettable.”
“Unforgettable,” Tsumugi repeated softly, the word anchoring itself in his mind. He glanced at the sky through the office window, the late afternoon light fading into a gentle twilight. For once, he allowed himself to hope that this date wouldn’t just be a break from their hectic schedules—it would be a memory they could cherish, a moment to deepen the connection they shared.
Anzu interrupted his thoughts with a teasing grin. “Now, Tsumugi-kun, have you thought about what you’re going to wear?”
Sora gasped dramatically. “Senpai! You have to look amazing! Master’s going to see Senpai in a whole new light!”
Tsumugi’s face turned scarlet. “What’s wrong with my usual clothes? I don’t think Natsume-kun would—”
“Oh, no, no, no!” Sora wagged a finger, already sketching designs on a spare sheet of paper. “This is a date, not a meeting! We’ll make Senpai look like a prince straight out of a fairytale!”
Tsumugi sighed in defeat, though a small smile tugged at his lips. Between Sora’s boundless creativity and Anzu’s quiet encouragement, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of optimism. Perhaps, with their help, this little vacation could become something truly magical.
The week leading up to the date was a whirlwind for Tsumugi. Between rehearsals, meetings, and coordinating with Anzu and Sora, he barely had time to catch his breath. Despite his nerves, he couldn’t help but smile at their enthusiasm.
Sora had insisted on dragging Tsumugi to several stores, rattling off fashion advice while Tsumugi stood awkwardly in front of mirrors. Each outfit they tried on seemed more extravagant than the last, ranging from bold patterns to suits so sharp they looked like they belonged on a runway.
“Senpai, this one is perfect!” Sora exclaimed, holding up a navy-blue blazer adorned with subtle starry embroidery. “It’s elegant, but not too flashy. Plus, the stars will remind Master of his magic!”
Tsumugi hesitated, running a hand over the soft fabric. “Do you really think it suits me?”
Anzu, who had been quietly observing, smiled. “It’s perfect. It’s simple, thoughtful, and has just the right amount of charm. It’s very you, Tsumugi-kun.”
He finally relented, letting them finalize the outfit. As he left the store with his neatly wrapped purchase, a mix of excitement and anxiety bubbled in his chest.
Meanwhile, across town, Natsume Sakasaki was in his workshop, surrounded by props and trinkets. He hummed softly as he polished a crystal orb, his mind wandering back to the energy of the live performance. His heart still raced from the rush of applause, but something else lingered—a quiet curiosity about what Tsumugi had been up to lately.
“Hm… that man is hiding something,” Natsume murmured to himself, tapping his chin. Tsumugi’s behavior had been unusually secretive, though not in a way that felt worrisome. If anything, it piqued his interest. “Perhaps a SURPRISE? How intriguing…”
He chuckled to himself, setting the orb aside and leaning back in his chair. Whatever it was, Natsume had no doubt it would be thoughtful—Tsumugi always had a way of making people feel seen and appreciated.
Back at the agency, the final pieces of the plan were falling into place. Sora presented a map he’d decorated with tiny stars and arrows, outlining the itinerary with exaggerated flair.
“First, Senpai will take Master to this cozy café,” Sora explained, pointing to a small, hand-drawn teacup. “It’s quiet and Sora thinks it has the best desserts ever! Then, Senpai will head to this park for a walk—look at all the trees! And finally…”
Anzu smiled, finishing the thought. “A nighttime stargazing spot. It’s secluded, peaceful, and the perfect way to end the day.”
Tsumugi stared at the map, his heart pounding. “This is really happening, isn’t it?”
Sora giggled. “Of course, Senpai! And don’t worry—Master will love it. Just be yourself!”
The day of the date arrived faster than Tsumugi expected. As he adjusted his blazer in front of the mirror, he took a deep breath, trying to calm the fluttering in his chest. “You can do this,” he told himself softly. “Just focus on making him happy.”
Meanwhile, Natsume waited outside the agency, his signature smirk tugging at his lips. He wore his usual air of confidence, but the faint tilt of his head betrayed a flicker of curiosity. As Tsumugi finally stepped out to greet him, Natsume’s golden eyes widened slightly, his smirk softening into something more genuine.
“Well, well, well,” Natsume drawled, his voice teasing but warm. “You’re full of SURPRISES today, Tsumugi-senpai. Shall we see what MAGIC you’ve prepared for me?”
Tsumugi chuckled nervously, holding out a hand. “Let’s make some memories, Natsume-kun.”
The small bell above the café door chimed as Tsumugi stepped inside, holding the door open for Natsume. A wave of warmth greeted them, carrying the inviting scents of freshly brewed coffee and buttery pastries. The café was cozy and intimate, its shelves lined with books and knick-knacks that gave it a charm Tsumugi hoped Natsume would appreciate.
“ThiS is wheREyou’ve decided to whisk me awAY?” Natsume asked, a smirk tugging at his lips. He glanced around, his golden eyes taking in the soft lighting and quiet hum of conversation. “How verY… SenPAI-like. Quiet, quaint, and oH-so-charmING.”
Tsumugi chuckled nervously, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his sleeve. “I thought you might appreciate a little peace after all the excitement of the live. Besides…” He gestured toward a table by the window. “The view is lovely here.”
Natsume followed him to the table, his curiosity piqued. As they settled into their seats, the golden light of the autumn afternoon streamed through the window, catching in the auburn highlights of Tsumugi’s hair. Natsume noticed how Tsumugi kept glancing at him, as if to gauge his reaction.
“You’re acting quite STRANGE today,” Natsume said, leaning his chin on his hand. His tone was playful but probing. “What’s going on in that busy little MIND of yours?”
Before Tsumugi could answer, a cheerful server arrived to take their order. They each chose a pot of tea—Tsumugi opting for Earl Grey, and Natsume choosing a floral blend. For dessert, Tsumugi recommended the café’s signature cakes, a suggestion Natsume accepted with a teasing remark about his sweet tooth.
As they waited, Tsumugi finally found the courage to respond. “I just thought… after everything you’ve done for Switch, you deserved a day to relax. I wanted to do something special for you.”
Natsume raised an eyebrow, his smirk softening into something more genuine. “Special, huh? I suppose I shouldn’t be SURPRISED. You’ve always been a thoughtFUL onE, SenPAI.”
Their conversation turned to the recent live, and Tsumugi couldn’t help but express his admiration. “Your performance was incredible, Natsume-kun. The way you command the stage, the energy you bring—it’s mesmerizing.”
“Flattery will get you NOWHERE,” Natsume teased, though the faintest hint of color touched his cheeks. “But I’ll admit, it’s always nice to hear such PRAISE from you.”
Their desserts arrived, breaking the moment. Natsume’s plate featured an elaborate cake adorned with edible glitter and a tiny magician’s hat sculpted from chocolate. His eyes lit up at the whimsical presentation, though he quickly masked his delight with a playful scoff.
“How fittiNG,” he remarked, lifting the tiny chocolate hat. “A magician’s dessERT for a magiCIAN. Did you PLAN this too?”
Tsumugi shook his head with a smile. “Not this part, no. But I’m glad you like it.”
As Natsume took his first bite, he paused, his fork still in hand. A tiny note had been tucked beneath the cake. He pulled it out and unfolded it, his smirk widening as he read the words:
Follow the stars.
“Well, WELL,” Natsume drawled, setting the note down. “What kind of MYSTERY are you leading me into now, SenPAI?”
Tsumugi rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks flushed. “Just… trust me. I promise it’ll be worth it.”
Natsume leaned back in his chair, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. “Trust you, hm? I suppoSE I have nO choice. Let’s see where this little JOURNEY of yours takes uS.”
As they left the café, Tsumugi felt his nerves begin to settle. Seeing Natsume’s genuine intrigue, the spark of excitement in his eyes—it was worth all the planning.
Little did he know, the day was only beginning, and the magic was just starting to unfold.
The path through the park was quiet, lined with tall trees whose leaves had turned shades of gold and crimson. The crisp autumn air carried a faint chill, but the warmth of the late afternoon sun kept it pleasant. Tsumugi walked a step ahead, glancing over his shoulder every so often to ensure Natsume was still following.
“I hope I’m not tiring you out,” Tsumugi said, a nervous laugh escaping him. “The café was just the start, after all.”
Natsume, who had his hands tucked in his pockets, gave a soft hum of amusement. “If I didn’t knOW better, I’d say yoU were WORRIED I’d leave halfway through. Don’t FRET, SenPAI—I’m far too CURIOUS about what you’ve planned to do.”
Tsumugi smiled, feeling a bit more confident. He gestured toward a small clearing ahead where the sunlight filtered through the branches, casting dappled patterns on the ground. “We’re almost there. I think you’ll like this next part.”
The clearing opened up to reveal a gazebo nestled beneath the trees, its white paint slightly worn but still charming. A few benches surrounded it, and in the center of the gazebo was a small table with an envelope placed neatly on top.
Natsume raised an eyebrow, his curiosity clearly piqued. “A treasure huNT, is iT?”
“Something like that,” Tsumugi admitted, his cheeks dusted with pink. “This is your first clue.”
Natsume stepped into the gazebo and picked up the envelope, his long fingers deftly unfolding the paper inside. He read aloud:
“A magiciAN’s talenT lies not JUST in illusion, but in theIR ability to create wonDER. Seek the place where wonder begins to unFOLD.”
For a moment, Natsume was silent, his eyes narrowing as he turned the riddle over in his mind. Then, with a triumphant smirk, he said, “It’s the GARDEN, isn’t it? Where the flowers bloom and ‘wonder’ quite LITERALLY unfolds.”
Tsumugi’s smile widened. “That’s right. You’re as sharp as ever.”
“YoU’re just simple-minded, senPAI”
As they made their way to the garden, Tsumugi couldn’t help but marvel at how easily Natsume seemed to solve the riddle. He had expected nothing less, of course—Natsume’s mind was as quick as his wit.
When they arrived, the garden was bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. Rows of flowers in every color imaginable stretched before them, their petals swaying gently in the breeze. Natsume walked ahead, his gaze scanning the area until he spotted another note tied to the branch of a nearby tree.
He plucked it free and opened it, his smirk growing as he read: “Magic exists in the little moments. Look UP.”
With a bemused expression, Natsume tilted his head back to stare at the sky. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, painting the heavens in hues of orange and pink. Stars were just starting to peek through the twilight.
He lowered his gaze to Tsumugi, who stood a few steps away, watching him nervously. “Is thiS what yoU wanted me to SEE?”
Tsumugi nodded, his hands clasped together. “Not just the stars,” he said softly. “It’s… everything. The way they remind us to slow down and appreciate what’s right in front of us.”
For a moment, Natsume said nothing, his expression unreadable. Then he stepped closer, his tone light but warm. “You’re far too SENTIMENTAL, you know. But I suppose that’s part of your CHARM.”
Tsumugi laughed, though his cheeks were still flushed. “And you could stand to be a little more sentimental, Natsume-kun.”
Natsume chuckled, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement. “Don’t push your LUCK, Tsumugi-senpAI. I might just surprise you.”
As the twilight deepened into night, the sky above the park transformed into a canvas of stars, their shimmering light reflecting in the nearby pond. Tsumugi led Natsume toward the last part of the evening, the anticipation almost palpable. They had walked for several minutes in comfortable silence, the occasional sound of rustling leaves and distant crickets filling the air.
Natsume’s gaze was fixed on Tsumugi, noticing how the older kept looking forward with a determined expression. “You’re acting rather MYSTERIOUS, senPAI,” he said, his tone laced with curiosity. “Is there a grand FINALE to this little date of yours, or are yoU just making me walk in circles?”
Tsumugi chuckled, his eyes softening. “I promise, it’ll be worth it.” He gestured ahead toward a small hill, where a telescope stood waiting, its lens pointed toward the vast sky. Around it were soft blankets spread across the grass and lanterns that gave off a warm, inviting glow. Natsume’s eyes widened ever so slightly as he took in the scene.
“A telesCOPE?” Natsume said, raising an eyebrow. “I should’ve known you’d involVE the STARS somehow.”
Tsumugi’s nervousness resurfaced. He rubbed the back of his neck, his usual gentle smile showing a hint of shyness. “Well, I thought since you like things that are magical and mysterious, we could look at the stars together. It’s… a little cliché, I guess.”
Natsume shook his head, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Cliché? PerhaPS. But magic is everywhere, even in the most OBVIOUS places. And I don’t mind clichés, as long as they’re done RIGHT.” He glanced at the setup with growing interest. “Let’s see what you’ve got for mE, thEN.”
Tsumugi motioned for Natsume to take a seat on the blanket near the telescope. Once they were settled, Tsumugi adjusted the scope, carefully lining it up with the twinkling dots above. His fingers moved with precision, a testament to his love for stargazing. When he finished, he gestured for Natsume to look through the eyepiece.
“Go ahead,” Tsumugi said. “Take a look.”
Natsume leaned forward, peering into the telescope. His golden eyes narrowed slightly as he focused on the image. The stars appeared larger and clearer, forming patterns and constellations in the night sky. After a moment of silence, Natsume pulled back, his expression contemplative.
“It’s beauTIFUL,” he admitted softly. “Though I imagine the REAL star you wanted me to see is someTHING else entireLY.”
Tsumugi blinked, caught off guard. “What do you mean?”
Natsume turned to face him, his smirk soft but knowing. “You’ve always been the type to look beyond the surface, haven’t you? This whole evening… it wasn’t just about stargazing or riddles. It’s about US, isn’t it?”
Tsumugi’s breath caught in his throat. He hadn’t expected Natsume to see through him so easily, though he supposed he should have. Natsume was always sharp, always able to read between the lines. Still, it didn’t make his feelings any less difficult to express.
“I… I wanted to show you how much I appreciate you,” Tsumugi finally said, his voice quiet but steady. “Not just as a friend or a teammate, but as someone I really care about. You’ve always been there for me, Natsume-kun. And I wanted to do something for you in return.”
For a moment, Natsume was silent, his gaze never leaving Tsumugi’s face. Then, with a soft chuckle, he leaned back on the blanket, his arms crossed behind his head as he gazed up at the stars.
“You’re too KIND for your own good, Tsumugi-senpAI,” Natsume said, his tone teasing but gentle. “But that’s one of the things I LIKE about you. I suppose I should thank yoU for all of this—though I don’t need a grand gesture to KNOW how much you care.”
Tsumugi felt his cheeks warm, but a sense of relief washed over him. He lay back beside Natsume, the two of them gazing up at the sky together in comfortable silence. The stars twinkled above them, casting a soft glow over the world below.
Natsume turned his head slightly, his voice quieter now. “You didn’t need to PLAN all this, you know. Just being here is enough. But…” He paused, a rare softness in his voice. “I do appreciate it.”
Tsumugi smiled, his heart feeling lighter than it had all day. “I’m glad, Natsume-kun.”
The night deepened, the sky awash with countless stars. Their silvery light reflected in Tsumugi's blue eyes as he stole glances at Natsume, who lay beside him, arms still tucked behind his head. The younger boy seemed so at ease, his fiery red hair catching the faint glow of the lanterns nearby. His golden eyes sparkled every time he tilted his head toward the sky, but Tsumugi couldn’t bring himself to admire the stars anymore—not when Natsume was right there, more captivating than anything above.
Tsumugi shifted slightly, his breath catching in his throat as he fought the growing urge to speak. His heart was pounding, and his hands fidgeted nervously with the edge of the blanket. Natsume seemed oblivious, his focus still on the heavens.
I need to say it, Tsumugi thought, swallowing hard. If I don’t, I’ll regret it.
“Natsume-kun” he began softly, his voice hesitant.
The other boy turned his head slightly, his gaze falling on Tsumugi. “What is it? Another RIDDLE to solve?”
Tsumugi shook his head, his cheeks flushing. “No, nothing like that. I just… I wanted to tell you something.”
The sincerity in Tsumugi’s voice made Natsume pause, his expression softening. “Go on, then. I’m LISTENING.”
But as Tsumugi met Natsume’s gaze, the words caught in his throat. How could he possibly describe what he felt? The overwhelming warmth, the admiration, the longing—it all seemed too vast to fit into mere words. Without realizing it, he had leaned closer, his hands resting on either side of Natsume for support as he hovered above him.
Natsume blinked, a faint smirk tugging at his lips despite the sudden proximity. “Are yoU tryING to BLOCK my view of the stars?”
Tsumugi’s breath hitched. He hadn’t meant to move so close, but now that he was here, the rest of the world seemed to fade away. All he could see was Natsume—his sharp yet delicate features, the way his golden eyes held a mix of amusement and curiosity, the subtle flush that dusted his cheeks under Tsumugi’s unwavering gaze.
“I’m sorry,” Tsumugi murmured, though he didn’t move away. “I just… I can’t help it. You’re more beautiful than the stars, Natsume-kun.”
Natsume’s eyes widened, the teasing smirk slipping from his face as his lips parted slightly in surprise. Tsumugi took a shaky breath, his heart pounding as he leaned in closer, his voice trembling but firm.
“I’ve wanted to tell you this for so long,” he whispered. “I… I love you, Natsume-kun.”
Before Natsume could respond, Tsumugi closed the gap between them, pressing his lips to Natsume’s in a deep, tender kiss. It was as if time itself had stopped, the cool night air and the gentle hum of the world around them fading into nothingness.
Natsume’s initial shock melted away, and though he didn’t immediately kiss back, he didn’t pull away either. His hands slowly came up, one resting against Tsumugi’s shoulder as if testing the moment, the other brushing lightly against Tsumugi’s cheek.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathless. Tsumugi searched Natsume’s gaze, fearing rejection but unable to regret what he had done. Natsume’s expression was unreadable at first, his golden eyes studying Tsumugi with an intensity that made his heart race.
Then, Natsume chuckled softly, a rare, genuine smile tugging at his lips. “You’re FULL of surprises tonight. I didn’t think you had it in you to be so BOLD.”
Tsumugi flushed, his nerves returning in full force. “I-I’m sorry if I—”
Natsume cut him off, his fingers brushing against Tsumugi’s lips. “Don’t apologiZE. You’ve been STARING at me like that all night—I suppose I should’ve expected it.” His voice softened, a hint of vulnerability slipping through. “But if I’m being HONEST, I don’t mind. Not one biT.”
Tsumugi’s heart soared at the admission, a smile breaking across his face. “Natsume-kun… does that mean—?”
Natsume leaned up slightly, closing the small distance between them to press a soft kiss to Tsumugi’s lips, cutting off his question. It was brief, but it carried an unspoken answer that left no room for doubt.
As Natsume lay back down, his smirk returned, though his cheeks still carried a faint blush. “There. Now you’ve COMPLETELY distracted me from the stars. Are you SATISFIED, SenpAI?”
Tsumugi laughed, his nervous energy giving way to pure joy. “More than satisfied,” he said, his voice warm and sincere.
They stayed like that for a while longer, the stars above bearing silent witness to the quiet, magical moment shared between them. For Tsumugi, it felt as though he had finally captured a piece of the night sky—and it was even more beautiful than he had ever imagined.

The chapel was bathed in soft light, the late afternoon sun filtering through stained-glass windows and painting the room with hues of gold, red, and blue. Rows of guests filled the pews, murmuring excitedly as they awaited the ceremony. It wasn’t a grand, extravagant wedding; it was intimate and warm, just as Tsumugi and Natsume had wanted it.
Tsumugi stood at the altar, dressed in an elegant navy-blue suit with silver accents that matched the color of his eyes. His hands trembled slightly as he adjusted his tie for the third time, earning a soft laugh from Sora, who was serving as the ring bearer.
“Tsumugi-senpai,” Sora chirped, his voice as cheerful as ever, “you don’t need to be nervous! Master won’t run away!”
Tsumugi chuckled, running a hand through his hair. “I know, Sora. I just… I want everything to be perfect.”
“It already is!” Sora reassured him, bouncing on his heels. “Because Senpai and Master are perfect together!”
The sound of the chapel doors opening pulled Tsumugi’s attention, and the world seemed to stop. There, standing at the end of the aisle, was Natsume, and he looked radiant. His white suit was a sharp contrast to his fiery red hair, which had been neatly styled but still held its trademark wild charm. A subtle golden brooch shaped like a star adorned his lapel, catching the light with every step he took.
Natsume’s golden eyes locked onto Tsumugi’s, a knowing smirk playing on his lips as he approached. Despite the confidence in his stride, Tsumugi noticed the faint blush on Natsume’s cheeks, a rare display of vulnerability that made him even more endearing.
When Natsume reached the altar, he turned to Tsumugi, his expression softening. “I hope you’re not REGRETTING this already,” he teased, though his voice carried a hint of nervousness.
Tsumugi shook his head, a smile spreading across his face. “Never. You look… breathtaking.”
“Flatterer,” Natsume muttered, though his smirk widened.
The officiant began the ceremony, their words weaving a story of love, trust, and partnership. As they spoke, Tsumugi couldn’t help but glance at Natsume, his heart swelling with emotions too vast to contain. This was the man he loved—the man who had taught him to see the magic in the everyday, to embrace boldness and adventure, and to believe in himself.
When it was time for the vows, Tsumugi took a deep breath, his voice steady despite the tears glistening in his eyes. “Natsume-kun, you’ve been the light in my life, the person who showed me how to dream again. I promise to stand by your side, to support you, to love you, and to never take for granted the magic you bring into my world. You are my brightest star, and I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure you never forget that.”
Natsume’s usual smirk softened into something rare and tender. He reached out, taking Tsumugi’s hands in his. “You’re the one who taught me that magic doesn’t always come from the UNEXPECTED—it’s in the people we CHERISH and the moments we share. I promise to keep surprising you, to keep challenging you, and to never let the MAGIC fade. You’re my CONSTELLATION, and I’ll follow you anywhere.”
The room seemed to hold its breath as the officiant declared them married. “You may now kiss.”
Tsumugi hesitated only for a moment before pulling Natsume into a deep, heartfelt kiss, the cheers and applause from their friends and family fading into the background. In that moment, it was just the two of them, as if the stars themselves had aligned to bring them together.
Underneath the same night sky where their story began, Tsumugi and Natsume sat together on a quiet hill, away from the noise of the reception. Tsumugi had insisted on bringing a telescope, just like their first date, and Natsume couldn’t help but laugh at the sentimentality of it.
“You’re STILL looking at the stars when you have ME right here?” Natsume teased, leaning back against Tsumugi’s chest.
Tsumugi chuckled, wrapping his arms around Natsume’s waist. “The stars remind me of you. But you’re right—nothing compares to having you here.”
Natsume tilted his head back to meet Tsumugi’s gaze, a rare softness in his eyes. “You’ve changed mE, Tsumugi. And I don’t mean that lightly. You’ve maDE mE… better.”
“And you’ve made me braver,” Tsumugi replied, pressing a kiss to Natsume’s forehead. “I can’t wait to see what our future holds, Natsume-kun. As long as I’m with you, I know it’ll be magical.”
They sat there in silence for a while, the stars twinkling above them as if celebrating their love. For Tsumugi and Natsume, the future was as boundless as the sky—full of endless possibilities, shared dreams, and a love that would shine brighter than any constellation.
