For Kaje! I read this fic and thought it would make the COOLEST podfic, but it's so long that I was like "okay I will only do this if I get Kaje for ITPE" and then??? I got you!! It was fate!! I really hope you like it, not only was it cool on a sound effects / editing level to make, but so many moments as I was recording and editing made me go "oh my god this is PERFECT for faer" so just!! XD I was not suuuper subtle when I brought it up while sprinting edits in the discord, but I tried to at least never mention what I was working on specifically in the hopes it would be a pleasant surprise for you when it posted!
For anyone listening: I have made two versions of this podfic, the first pass edits with minor sfx but without the soundscaping for Ghost Speak, and the second, full-editing pass that includes the soundscaping. What drew me to this fic as an option for podding was the way Dis described their Ghost Speak sounding, and so I worked really hard to make that version sound cool as fuck. That said, I know it can be distracting or difficult to listen to if your brain is just not wired that way, so I am including the pre-soundscape version too! It still has a music intro for each chapter and I still did a light reverb for any time that they're using ASL rather than speaking verbally, because I wanted to offset that in some way, but that's pretty much it! Whichever version you listen to (soundscaping begins in ch 3), I hope you enjoy!
