All of these one shots where orignally posted on my Wattpad @sav_and_the_phantoms and I am adding stories on there so this in works both on here and on there

This is part of my one shots collection for Julie and the phantoms that started in 2020 and is still currently being added to as we speak

Julie sighs hoping she was wrong that boys were still there but she also hoped that they had crossed over it would be better than dying slowly and painfully by the hands of Caleb's jolts  

She opens the doors of the studio The lights were off.

She lets her tears out sighing again " I know said it before but thank you guys " She was about to leave when

“your welcome " "DUDE !"

Julie rushed over to the lights seeing Luke, Alex, and Reggie slumped over on floor groaning in pain

" what guys doing here .. why didn't cross over "

" We had nowhere else to go " The Orpheum wasn't are unfinished business

I guess

 "We thought you go right to bed," Reggie said

" well I figured she come out here but nobody listens to me, "Alex said Sarcastically as a bolt zapped them hard

" you have to go.. please go to Caleb go please you can't die please go "

" no we aren't going back there," Reggie said

She wiped away her tears

" Please just go "

Luke stood up facing her

" Julie music isn't worth making if it’s not with you .. "

She was speechless

"No regrets " he added softly She could handle it anymore she hugged him crying into him "

I love you guys " she whisper shouted Making Reggie cry harder Then it hit her

" wait .. how can I feel you ?" Julie asked confused about how she could suddenly feel Luke

" I. I... don't know " They grabbed each other faces not wanting to let go of the other Luke leaned in and so did Julie there lips met in the middle it was soft yet passionate and tender Her lips fit perfectly with his.

As they pulled back for air smiling at each other

" I feel stronger ..."

" Alex ..Reggie come, " Julie said the two boys didn't need to be asked twice as the group hugged

" I feel stronger... I mean not that I was ever weak " Alex said smiling As he said that all 3 of Caleb's stamps were removed from the boys.

" what does that mean ?"

Luke smiled brightly at Julie

" it means the band is back," Luke said smirking slightly

" can we do that hugging thing again," Alex asked shyly They hugged again tightly not wanting to let go

" I like this " Reggie said smiling like an idiot as They hugged once more

" me too, " Julie said smiling

As the night was closing for 

“Julie and the phantoms” at the Orpheum

It was their last performance of the night they were singing 

" edge of great " 

Julie hit the high note perfectly when suddenly 

" great..." it came out raspy like she couldn't speak 

her voice was scratchy and suddenly very dry 

the rest of the band stopped. 

"Jules you okay ?" asked Reggie 

tears swelled up  in her big brown eyes She shook her head no running off the stage 

" Julie wait " shouted luke

"Let's split up "Alex shouted out to the group 

And off they went searching high and low for their beloved lead singer 

As Reggie  turned the corner he 

heard soft crying he bent down 

" Julie ?" Her big brown eyes looked up at him sadly not daring to make eye contact 

Making his undead heartbreak even more than it had before 

" are you okay ?" 

“ stupid question Reggie of course not” he thought mentally slapping himself as looked at her sadly 

She shook her head 

" come here," he said opening his arms as Julie laid in his arms crying harder than she ever had before

Just wanting her voice back,

wanting to thank Reggie for being her rock 

" everything's going to be okay Jules I promise, "  Reggie said 

as he Played with her brown curly locks  Julie cuddled into him more as if to say 

" Please don't let me go " 

He just smiled at her once more 

" I promise you everything's going to be alright "

And for the first time, Julie knew that it was true she is going to be okay Because she had her boys

she knew that she would be okay ..she Looked up at him and smiled at him as they hugged each other tightly

 She is thankful to have Reggie 

as her friend …no as her brother

Chapter Text

Julie walked into her music studio to say goodbye for the final time that night she had said it at the concert 

but she felt as if she needed to say it again 

As She walked into the studio 

the lights where out 

compete and total darkness surrounding her making her feel uneasy 

" thank you for everything " 

she said into the darkness of the room when she heard a faint groaning noise.

She ran to the lights as fast as she could, what she saw terrified her more than  the darkness ever could 

What she saw was her 3 bandmates 

Bloody and pale on her studio floor 

She couldn't stop her tears from pouring out of her She ran to Luke holding him one more time

 " I am so sorry " she heard him say before he vanished

"Nooooo " she shouted jumping up in a cold sweat

She started crying again The dream felt too real 

" Julie ?" She heard  

She looked around the room and saw luke sitting on her bed 

How long has he been there? She wondered 

" what's wrong Jules ?" She shook her head 

" it’s nothing I swear " 

He knew she was lying to him 

" Julie whats wrong you can tell me " he pleaded 

" I... I had a nightmare alright " He looked at her, all he saw was her fear he just hugged her tightly 

" I am here now okay you're fine "

She cried into him as he whispered sweet nothings into her ear claiming her down 

" do you want to talk about it ?" She thought about it for a moment 

" I ... I watched you all die  from the jolts it was just too real it felt too real " 

she started tearing up again He wiped her tears away 

" hey I am here okay and am not leaving you anytime soon I promise " 

" promise ?" 

" I promise Julie " As Luke was about to leave Julie to grab his hand 

" no .. please stay please " she begged 

One look into her big brown eyes and he sat back down on the bed 

" Okay I'll stay " She cuddled into him  

Feeling safe from her Wretched nightmares

Luke woke up to faint giggling   

the bright sunshine shining through Julie's window He looked over and saw Alex and Reggie making kissy faces at him

He rolled his eyes as he looked back down to the beautiful girl laying peacefully on him. 

he smiled at her Not caring if his friends were there he fell back to sleep cuddling 

the girl of his dreams. 

" you own me twenty bucks," Alex said to Reggie smirking at him happily 

" damn it  " Reggie shouted 

as they poofed out leaving the sleeping couple to themselves

After Julie had left for bed the 

boys were on cloud nine from what had just happened 

One minute they're on the blink of death and the next they could touch Julie and were saved from dying  

from the jolts, Caleb had marked them with 

" I can't believe that just happened " 

Luke shouted out happily 

" me neither just wow " Reggie said 

Alex was in shock now that he wasn't dying he only had one thought playing through his brain As if it were on replay 

" Alex Bud, you good ?" Asked Luke concerned 

Alex snapped out of his gaze 

" oh yeah... yeah am good " 

Reggie smirked knowing what was going through the drummers head 

"you're thinking about your skater boy aren't you ?" 

Alex blushes a bright crimson red spreading across his face 

" what no  ...psh... no " he denied 

But both boys knew Alex and he was a terrible terrible liar 

" your terrible liar Alex " Luke replied 

Alex sighed heavily "is it that obvious ?"

Both boys looked at each other before saying 

" yes " 

Alex sat down sighing again putting his hands in his face 

" why don't you just go find him ?"Reggie said 

Alex looked up at Reggie shocked 

" that is honestly the smartest thing you have ever said " Alex replied 

" Thanks ... wait a minute " 

But Alex had already poofed out 

" am I really that dumb ?" 

Reggie replies with a small pout 

Luke only nodded 

"well .. most days "

Alex had looked everywhere he could think of The club , the skate park .

The only place he hadn't checked was the museum he and willie 

had a very fun day full of screaming and talking about his anxiety  

To Alex, this museum was important to him because of willie 

" willie ?" He shouted as he entered the building 

He heard faint  crying and sniffles 

" oh god," he thought 

As he got closer he saw 

Willie sitting in the dark alone 

Alex's heart shattered into millions of pieces at the sight of willie crying 

" w..wi.willie ?" He stuttered out 

Willie looked up shocked to see Alex 

" a..Alex ?" 

" Yeah, are you okay ?" 

" stupid question Alex of course not  he is crying," he thought

Alex slowly sat down next to him 

" Why are you crying ?" He asked carefully 

Willie chuckled a sad chuckle as he looked into Alex's eyes 

" I ... thought I lost you " 

Alex's heart sped up slightly

" really ?"  

" really hot dog really " Alex chuckled at the nickname

" I did... I really thought I had lost you "

Alex sighed " you almost did "

Willie tilted his head slightly

" what do you mean " 

Now it was Alex’s  turn to giggle sadly

" um .. Julie saved us without her I would be here " 

Willie smiled 

" well I guess I have to thank her then "

Alex could take it anymore 

He slowly leaned in and his lips met willies 

they fit perfectly with his 

the kiss was short and sweet. 

slowly Alex anxiety started to spike 

" I ... I .. a..am so ..s.sorry I shouldn't ..- 

but cut off as a big pair of lips met his 

this time it was full of passion and lust either wanting to surrender

 But they need to breathe There foreheads touching each other

“I was afraid that I would never get to do that " willie mumbled softly 

" well, I am glad you did" Alex smirked. The two just chuckled

The band had started to notice that Alex had been missing practice a lot recently Alex would come back smiling and he seemed to be less anxious Which the boys found odd Because ever since they met Alex he was always fidgeting or pacing He was almost always anxious So when Alex came in late yet again for the now 5th time They decided to ask him what is up

“hey Alex "

Alex looked up still grinning  from ear to ear Almost as if he were on a high that he couldn't come out of " yeah ?"  Reggie just nodded

" why been missing practice lately ?" Asked luke concerned Once Luke asked that All of sudden they saw a switch in Alex He changed from grinning like an idiot back  to his anxious self  Which the boys hadn't seen in almost a week

" uh ..  I...I um .. sorry " he stuttered out

Reggie just smiled sadly

" oh ... um sorry dude "

Alex sighed he really wanted to tell them but it almost means facing the truth and facing Julie All at the same time And that scared Alex more than anything in the world He hated that he cared so much about what others thought about him

Julie walked in all smiley

“hey look who finally showed up " she grinned at Alex He just smiled a shy smile The tension that was once in the room had now vanished completely

Yet another week went by of Alex missing practice but he always showed up at the end to know what the band needed him to do He loved being a drummer just as much as loved being a part of the band It wasn't like he purposely missing practice He was just having fun. this afternoon willie wanted to talk  which  skyrocketed Alex's anxiety The two meet at the skate park

“you wanted to talk ?" Asked Alex kinda scared Willie noticed this

“it's nothing bad honestly you can relax now babe "

Alex blushed at the new nickname

" am never going to use to that," he thought "

“then what is it ?"

Willie chuckled

" I think it's time I met your band I met the boys ..but not Julie why ?" He asked in a serious tone  Alex tense up a bit

“I didn't think you wanted to " he mumbled Again willie chuckled.

" Why wouldn't i  she is important to you "

Alex blushed again " Okay then let's go "

The two poofed in just as Julie entered the studio

" oh Alex hey " she said as She turned to the boy next to him And smirked a knowing smirk

" you must be willie " Alex blushed all over again 

“How did -" he was cut off by the brunette "

“Alex talks a lot about you "

" no... I mean .. sorta " he shouted blushing brighter than before Willie just giggled " really now ?"

Julie nodded "well I am Willie I  am glad to finally meet you in person " he winked

"same I am glad to know who had my drummer so ... what the word love struck "  she smirked at him

" she has been hanging out with Luke too much,"  Alex thought

Willie blushed

Julie laughed at the two " am glad to see Alex happy and not anxious so thank you willie "

Willie didn't notice that he was holding Alex's hand the entire time till Alex removed his hand When he did all willie longed for was to have the warmth of Alex's hand back in his. He pouted at the loss of Alex's touch

" so are you two a thing .. now ?" Asked Luke as he came in Both of them blushed

" come on Luke they clearly are " replied Julie

" yeah I agree why else would Alex be missing practice so much "  said Reggie as he appeared from behind the couple Startling them

" Sorry, my bad .." They both just nervously chuckled Wishing to leave this Conversation

“Are you through?" Luke asked again Earning an eye roll form Julie and Reggie

" yes okay !!! God " Alex shouted clearly annoyed Willie stares at him shocked

They never officially Said if they were dating or not 

" really hot dog ?" Willie asked in excitement Alex blushed

" yeah I mean ... we kiss we hold hands and you call me babe sometimes so I figured ..."

Willie cut him off by kissing him It was full of love As the band  Cheered them on

" you own 20 bucks," Julie said smirking at the boys

" damn it !!" Luke shouted

as The two pulled apart laughing at their friends' banter

" so you're my boyfriend now ?"

" Hell yeah am your boyfriend now you can't get rid of that easily "

They kissed again

"I am never going find someone am I," Reggie said

Ray came into Julies room to clean while Julie was at practice 

Julie had left her phone on the charger since her phone had died the previous night .

Ray was putting away her clothes when her phone buzzed 

He knew it was wrong and that he would regret it later 

But He picked the phone and unlocked her phone 

to see an unfamiliar face in the text messages 

The message was from Flynn 

*HEY-GIRL  sorry I cancel last minute on the plans maybe you and your boo could do something "It read.

Ray was shocked 

Since when did Julie have a boyfriend?

He questioned 

He looked more into the previous conversation 

when he saw Julie respond to Flynn telling her all about her date

Flynn: he better treat you right 

J: Luke is a sweetheart calm down

  Flynn: I know he is but if he hurts you 

J: I know you'll get to hurt him  

Flynn: damn right I will

“Luke so that's his name “ he thought 

Just then he heard Julie coming up the stairs 

" dad ? " 

" yeah am in here Mija " 

Julie walked into her room 

" what are you doing in here ?" 

" I was just cleaning up " 

She only nodded at that not wanting to talk anymore 

" thanks " 

Ray hesitated
Thinking over what he wanted to say 

" um, Mija is there something your not telling me ?" He asked 

Julies' eyes slightly widened 

" what no why ?" 

Ray only chuckled 

" okay all ask again .. is there something your not telling me ?" 

He asked in a very serious tone 

Julie sighed not wanting to lie to him anymore 

" fine...  I have been in a relationship for 6 months " 

Now it was rays eyes that widen 

" 6 MONTHS" !!! he shouted

Julie nodded slowly scared as he shouts  

Now she understood why Alex didn't like when she would scream 

"I am sorry Mija " 

he said noticing her tense body language 

" it's fine I should told you " she mumbled as ray sighed with a nod 

" I want to meet him " he said suddenly Making Julie tense all over again 

" what ?! When " 

Ray thought it over for a minute 

" tomorrow night sound good ?" 

Julie was speechless she couldn't think 

" uhs..sure "

Once ray had left Julie began to panic 

"He wants to meet  Luke ?! "
She thought out loud As if on cue

Luke appeared next to Julie 

Making her flinch 

"Sorry I know you hate that " 

She chuckled slightly 

" what's going onyour nervous ..why are y.y.you nervous when your nervous am ...n..n..nervous "he ranted 

Julie laughed at his rant 

" it’s not funny Jules I hate seeing you nervous “  he mumbled 

" I know Luke sorry " 

He looked up at her pulling her chin to face him 

" what going on Jules ?" 

She sighed 

She didn't want to overwhelm Luke he didn't need that right now 

" my dad wants to meet you ... tomorrow " 

Luke's eyes widened 

The only thing he could think to say was 

" shit "

" Hey it'll fine I promise " 

Julie said reassuring Luke 

Luke melted at her touch 

" promise " 

She nodded 

As they leaned in and kissed for a second forgetting that tomorrow would be one of the biggest moment in Luke's undead life 

" I guess I better get ready for millions of questions then " 

Julie laughed at that 

" your cute you know that " He smirked at her " just not as cute as you " 

They kissed once more

Luke was pacing around the room trying to calm down It wasn't working 

" I think he is practicing his model strut " whispered Reggie 

Alex laughed 

" for once it's not me this weird " he smiled as said that

Luke groaned at them  

" Okay he is starting to make me anxious," Alex said to Reggie 

Reggie nodded in agreement 

This wasn't normal for Luke it worried his friends greatly 

" Luke, you good ?" Asked Alex 

Luke rolled his eyes at him 

" does look like am good Alex " he snapped 

" okay stupid question .. Reggie " 

Reggie scoffed 

" what going man ?" Luke sighed heavily 

" um ... ray wants to meet me " 

Both his friend's eyes went wide 

They were shocked 

" wait .... ray knows ?" Asked Reggie 

Alex rolled his eyes 

" did you not hear that part ?" 

Luke just sat there staring at  the two 

" what do I do? What the hell do I even say "  he rumbled 

Reggie and Alex looked at Luke He was nervous Alex sighed 

" We are going to prepare you that's what " 

Luke looked up at him 

" what ?"

Julie sat in her room after class replaying the events of this morning  over and over again 

She heard a knock on her door 

She knew it was Flynn 

Who she had asked to come over 

She smiled as she opened the door to see Flynn smirking at her 

He smiled went away at the sight of Flynn holding up dresses 

" oh god Flynn " She just giggled 

"relax Jules I wanted you to look your best this is a big moment for you two " 

That didn't relax her at all 

" not helping Flynn " 

" right sorry "

"Why would he ask me that ?"

Reggie chuckled 

" hey he might you never know " 

Luke sighed 

" I highly doubt that he would ask him what his sexuality is " added, Reggie 

Alex rolled his eyes 

" my first date did " he whispered 

" that's because your gay " Luke said 

Alex nodded " fair point " 

They went over the questions ray might ask him again

" so if ask about your parents what do you say ?" Reggie asked 

Luke froze up 

" God I hope he doesn't " he whispered 

" what about how you too met ?" Asked Alex 

" I say am apart of the band and I am visiting from Sweden " 

Alex and Reggie nodded 

" that's our boy " they said in unison 

" I feel like a proud dad," said Reggie in tears 

Luke laughed at the two

Julie  sat there as Flynn did her hair 

" Flynn is this really necessary" 

Flynn rolled her eyes 

" yes trust me I know what I am doing " 

“That's what am afraid of“She thought 

She is terrified what if her dad hated Luke? 

what if he forbid her from seeing him?  

No, she wouldn't think about that 

" and done " shouted Flynn 

with excitement  Julie was taken back 

" Woah I love it " 

She hugged Flynn tightly 

" I know am amazing "  Julie giggled 

" I know really thank you "

" anytime "

Luke waited at the front door of the house debating if he should change This was it now turning back now 

It was now or never 

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door 

He smiled as Julie opened the door Wearing a light faded pink dress 

He couldn't take his eyes off her she was so beautiful 

" Luke what is it ?" she asked 

" you look so beautiful tonight "She blushed 

" you don't look so bad yourself handsome " 

He is wearing a button-up shirt black dress pants  and black shoes and his hair is gelled up 

She grabbed his hand leading him into the kitchen 

There they sat ray looking at Luke as if he were his prey this kinda scared luke

" I am ray Julies dad " 

" n..nice too..me.meet you sir " he stuttered out Ray raised brow not expecting Luke to behave so well he motioned for him to sit Luke followed his lead as 

He sat next to Julie holding her hand under the table She smiled at him As Carlos prayed over the meal.

Luke remembered how he uses to say grace with his family 

It kinda hurt seeing Carlos say grace 

" amen," Carlos said 

Snapping Luke out his thoughts 

"Amen," everyone said in unison 

They dug into rays famous spaghetti

" so luke .. how did you and meet Julie ?" He smiled at the memory but knew he had to lie 

" um am part of her band so I met her over FaceTime am visit for the  day," he said so casually Julie nodded 

Ray smiled at him softly 

" well thank you for being music back into her life " 

Luke smiled at that " no problem " 

As they finished up ray questions began to get personal .. to personal 

" so luke Have you ever had ... you know " 

Luke turned beet red  

Julie started choking  on her bread Carlos was laughing hysterically at her 

As Luke helped Julie with her water 

" Luke am okay I promise " 

He gave her an  " you sure ?" Look

She nodded 

" and no dad .. we haven't," she said annoyed by the question 

Ray nodded  knowing he just embarrassed his daughter in front of her boyfriend 

" Sorry honey "

But Ray had one more question 

as they finished dessert

The two love birds were just giving each other small glances

To make sure the other one was okay  after Julie had choked 

Luke was worried and Julie was worried that her dads' questions had upset Luke 

That's when ray decided to ask the one question Luke didn't know how to answer 

" so Luke what's your family like ?" 

Luke turned pale and got quite 

He didn't know how to respond 

Julie took notice of her boyfriends' paleness  

And squeezed his hand letting him know she here and she on it 

" dad ... that's not a good question to ask .. Luke not .. really .. his family isn't really in his life at ..this moment," she said 

Ray looked at Luke 

He saw Luke about to tear up 

" I am .. sorry Luke I didn't realize " 

Luke wiped away his tears 

" it's fine you didn't know " 

Julie kisses his cheek making him blush.

" thank you for inviting me, sir " 

Ray smiled at the young man in front of him 

" it was my pleaser it was nice to meet you my daughters lucky to have you " Luke smiled at that 

" it's the opposite actually am lucky to have her " 

Ray nodded  understanding 

" I'll let Julie walk you out it was nice meeting you Luke " 

Julie smiles as she walked with Luke back to the studio 

" well that went better than I thought " 

Luke chuckled 

" thank for you .. know " 

Julie smiled at him softly 

" anytime I know how much it hurts you " 

Luke smiled at her 

" I don't what I do if you weren't there " 

" probably crash and burn" she teased 

" I love you, Julie Molina " 

She smiled greatly at him 

" I love you, Luke Patterson " 

The two kisses passionately full of love and lust 

This was their first time saying 

“I love you each other “

Sure they said it before but it wasn't as boyfriend and girlfriend 

it was in a joking way or a friendly way

As the couple where kissing 

The boys were watching from the studio 

" I told you "  shouted Alex with a grin 

Reggie rolled his eyes 

" Why do you always win " He said as he hand him ten bucks

Julie tried to forget it she really did but it was eating at her  as she sat there practicing with the boys they had just returned from seeing Luke at his parents' house Just as she started to sing

 Luke poofed in

"Julie ?" Luke said happily He was happy to see the singer She giggled at him happily

" grabbed a guitar let's practice "

He was speechless looking at his friends who only smirked at him " oh .. wh..what made change your mind ?"

" I just realized we both lost so much already we can't afford to lose this to "

He just smiled at her As he grabbed his Guitar " oh and Luke ?"

He looked at her confused  " happy birthday "

He scoffed " okay boss where we at ?" She chuckled at him Forgetting

for a moment all about these

”twins " that Reggie had mentioned.

After they practiced Julie still couldn't think straight her mind wouldn't leave her alone

Who are these twins? Are they the reason the boys never showed up? Did Luke like them?

She had so many thoughts going through her head she didn't notice that Luke was talking her

" Julie ?" He said shaking her

She snapped out of it " uh .. what ?"

He chuckled lightly

" you were out of it for a minute you good ?"

She frowned slightly

" yeah am good just a lot going on that all "

He knew she was lying he knew when people were lying it was his superpower Well that's what the boys always called it " I know your lying Jules "

She looked at him with a head tilt

" How did you -" He cut her off

"I don't know I just do "

She sighed debating if she should ask him or not " um .. the other night when you guys were late .. Reggie something about twins ?"

Luke just laughed Julie hit his arm, as usual, it went straight through him

" it's not funny who are they were you guys ?" Luke looked at her for a moment " those twins were performers We went to a club " 

it wasn't a total lie he just didn't tell her about Caleb

what's the worse that could happen?

She sighed with relief

"were you jealous ?" He raised a brow

She giggled " no .."

"You so were " She sighed again

" fine I was happy now "

He smiled at her

" very actually and if it makes you feel any  better they weren't as pretty as you "

The 4 sat in the studio watching try not to laughs videos 

" let's try this " Reggie shouted out 

They all turned to Reggie 

" why ?" Asked Alex 

Reggie rolled his eyes 

" it's better than getting Julie sick by having her run out in the pouring rain and sing," said Luke still pissed at Alex 

Alex threw his hands in the arm annoyed " I said I was sorry  gosh " 

Luke rolled his eyes as Julie held his arm He just smiled at her 

"lets do something else come on it  will be fun," Reggie said Again they looked at Reggie 

" like what Reggie ?" Asked Julie her throat slightly sore 

" 7 minutes in heaven " 

All 3 looked at one another debating if it was  Worth it 

" damn it am in " shouted Alex

As they played the final round of 

"7 minutes in heaven "

The only two who hadn't Been in there together yet was Julie and Luke 

Alex smirked at Reggie 

you see they rigged the game they couldn't take the longly looks if they to had a deal with this the whole entire lockdown they would go crazy. 

Reggie winked at Alex letting him spin the bottle 

Alex nodded as the bottle Landed on Julie and Luke  

The two looked at one another 

Luke held out his hand Julie took it as they entered the closet 

Reggie and Alex high five one another

Meanwhile in the closet 

" so .... what do you want to do ?" 

Julie laughed but it hurt to 

" right your ... throat " 

Julie looked at him grabbing his hand smiling at him 

He just blushed slightly at her touch 

" I...like you Luke " she finally said 

Luke just smiled squeezing her hand before finally saying 

" I like you too Julie " 

The two slowly leaned in as their lips met in middle it was as if a firework had been lit on the Fourth of July their lips fit perfectly on one another's. 

Her lips were soft and his where were rough but it was perfect as they pulled apart smiling ear to ear 

they turned around to see the door open slightly 

 Alex and Reggie grinning happily at the pair 

" I told you, " Reggie said  to Alex 

Alex just smiled

Later that night 

Julie and Luke just cuddled into one another as the gang watched a movie 

This quarantine is just the beginning but at least it has a happy start. 

Chapter Text

1992

The year was important to Alex it was the year he met his future bandmates and best friends 

It started out on a normal Monday morning well normal for Alex 

He got up took a shower and got his clothes on as he stood at his mirror seeing his bruises from the day before 

" just 2 more years " he whispered 

He hated school, not because of his classes he actually really enjoyed it 

It was because of the people at his school Somehow figured he was gay 

He didn't know how but that’s when it started the bullying was a consent thing in his life

Every day the most popular guy 

Zack would always find him 

And he and his gang would beat Alex to a pulp. 

His parents didn't know any of this why? 

Cause he didn't tell his parents That he is gay and his parents were very religious and very strict

Add a gay son to mix and you got yourself some Major trouble.

He grabbed his backpack wincing as he put it on his shoulder 

Walking down his stairs. 

Sighing as he sneaked past his parents. 

" Today is going to be okay " he whispered as he started walking to the school

Alex had finally made it to school he just left his 2nd class 

when His anxiety slowly overtook him as he saw zack behind him.

Alex ran into an unknown classroom praying that was empty 

It wasn't ..... 

there sat 3 boys  just chilling out in an unused classroom as Alex ran in slamming the door behind them 

Alex’s breathing rapidly got faster 

He couldn't breathe. 

That when one of the boys wearing  a beanie got down to him pulling into a chair 

" it's... o..okay breathe with me okay," he said softly 

Alex vision was fuzzy but he nodded 

" okay good in and out " 

The boy breathe in and out 

Alex copied the strangers' actions 

He breathing even out but his heart still pounding like crazy. 

"T..thank you," Alex said 

The stranger smiled gently at the boy 

" no problem am luke," he said biting his lip as he looked over at his friends 

Following his action, a boy with a black leather jack walked up nervously 

" I am Reggie," he said giving a small smile to the blonde 

A boy with really shaggy black hair walked up next standing awkwardly 

" um I am bobby " 

Alex stared at the door still hearing zack voice screaming at him 

" I... um Alex .. my name Alex " 

Luke nodded staring at the door 

" what going on? " Reggie asked 

Alex's heart pounded even more 

" this .. guy  um .. they kinda bully me I tried to get away but ..." he trailed off 

he didn't know why he was telling this to a bunch of strangers . 

Luke face turn from happy to angry 

" Why are they bully you ?" Bobby ask

Earning a punch in the gut from Reggie as Luke smiled at reggie in approval making smile back 

" ow what that for," he asked 

" for being an idiot " Reggie hissed out like a cat 

Alex smirked at Reggie soon mouthing  " thank you " to him 

Reggie only nodded  

Luke looked up  at Alex seeing him shift awkwardly in his chair 

" how long has this been going on ?"  He asked softly 

Alex thought about it before mumbling out quietly Luke almost didn't hear it . 

" last year  .." 

Just then they heard the door unlock They all froze 

" oh shit," they all thought

There indoor way stood zack smirking at the blonde and his newfound friends 

" well if isn't the fag and look he made some friends " 

Luke face turned blood red at that word 

" What did you just call him " Luke shouted out his voice sounding angrier then demanding 

Taking his friends by complete surprise Luke had never been this angry before 

Alex was shocked as Luke voice echoed around the room 

" I said the fag made friends," zack said smirking proudly 

Luke got up close to zack face taking zack by surprise 

Luke grabbed his collar of his shirt  his eyes locked on to zack's 

Reggie bobby and Alex were now stunned by Luke's actions

" What makes you think you just call someone that ?"  

Zack at this point was slightly scared as he looked to his group for help they just looked away 

Reggie came up behind Luke 

" Yeah you don't even know what you're saying " 

" y..yes I do it's what he is " zack tried to defend himself only making Luke tighten his grip 

" just because he likes guys doesn't give you the right to bully him," bobby said standing next to Reggie 

Once again zack looked to his group but they had left him behind 

" But.. " he tried to say. 

" but nothing you disgust me what so bad about him liking a guy what if said you couldn't date a girl, huh  it doesn't matter " Luke growled in zack face. 

Zack now was shaking with fear 

" but he like guys that's wrong "  zack argued 

" to you  it's wrong " added bobby 

" It shouldn't matter who he dates " Reggie said getting in zack face now as well 

Luke didn't let go of his grip on zack collar 

" o..okay " he Squeaked out 

Luke growled again annoyed 

" say you are sorry and leave him alone ... or else " Luke warned 

" I... I ..am .. s.so..sorry a..al..Alex " he stuttered out in fear 

Making Alex giggle a little at helpless zack looked  

" can you let me go now ?" zack croaked out 

Luke looked to his boys smirking 

They all nodded in sync 

As Luke grabbed zack and hanged him up in the closet on a hook 

" oh come on " zack shouted from inside closet as the boys left

From that day forward Alex had formed 3 new friends 

Luke Patterson his now boyfriend 

the bubbly Reggie peters 

And 

the quiet yet brilliant 

bobby Shaw 

and they soon discovered Alex could play drums 

And together they made a band 

They called it 

" sunset curve " 

So What happened to zack? Well he transferred schools 

Alex will always be thankful for his friends help that day 

They truly changed his world 

For the better
