    Jayce came to terms with his death twice in the last 24 hours, so it comes as great surprise when he realises he is, in fact, still alive and much younger in a new timeline. He will stop at nothing to make sure this time everything goes right, but he has to learn to navigate the fact that his Viktor isn't the one here with him. And yeah, he is glad this Viktor isn't sick and that they get to have the happy ending he probably didn't deserve, but he can't help but wonder what went wrong, why isn't his Viktor here enjoying this new life?

    or, Jayce gets into a very similar timeline where Viktor is oblivious to all that just transpired. He tries his best to make all wrongs right while mourning his former Viktor, who didn't get to this timeline, or, maybe, is hiding in the subcouncious of this new Viktor.
