Best Friends

Two best friends sit under a tree,
Talking about how far they’ve come,
From day number one.

To friends, to enemies, to best friends,
They’ve gone through highs and lows,
But that couldn’t keep them apart.

Even when they both found love,
Even when one friend fell for the other,
Even when the other liked someone else.

As Priya read the last stanza of the poem, her mouth opened in surprise. Priya knew what Millie was talking about. Millie must’ve seen her and Caleb’s short lasted relationship on tv after she got eliminated. The poem must’ve been written right afterwards. So, Millie was in love with Priya… that was unexpected, but it’s not like the feelings were unreciprocated.
