Aperture Magica

Summary:

Did you know? Universes that share the same parallel and similarity are most likely to collide? An example: the feeling of insecurity, and the color of blue.

After the battle with Chell, the cores have been stranded in space for a long time... Too long.
Luckily, an extraterrestial creature came by in order to give them a second chance, for salvation.
Yet they are unaware of such system that'll bestow them.

Chapter 1: Universal Collision

Chapter Text

Did you know? Universes that share the same parallel and similarity are most likely to collide? An example: the feeling of insecurity, and the color of blue.

Magic and science contradict each other, one is created out of thin air with no explanation, which is why humans prefer to call anything enigmatic as "magic", while science, is like magic. But they always have an explanation as to why it exists unlike magic. With these two concepts combined, can science be magic? Can magic be science? People live their lives to believe one, both, or none.

The otherworldly creatures look forward to come and see the collision of two universes.

In the cosmic space where stars roam that fill the dark empty void, there lies a feline-esque entity, a cute deceiving look and a still smile. The childish color scheme of white and pink, a strange cat alien Incubator. Its name was Kyubey. As it floats in the vastness of galaxies, the Incubator tilted its head as it observed two universes slowly come close before they crashed together. What would the earth be if a universe has successfully collided? Will two different people meet? Would we gather vast amounts of energy from it? The thought of many human emotions could excite the Incubator, but Incubators lack the ability to feel such things. Yet it's truly a discovery that this was possible.

The Incubator quickly travelled through stars, attempting to land into the Milky Way and into our solar system, where earth resides.
Between earth and the moon, the Incubator paused its journey, noticing some sort of space debris that orbited each other, stranded. Kyubey can notice a strange amount of energy radiating from it, its pattern similar to that of human consciousness, but not exactly identical. It then swam its way through the debris, only to notice there were three of them, it thought it was small asteroids but no, they're made of metal, they have a design, they can move and they can see.

Those are robots stranded in space. One green, one blue, and one yellow.
Green was the nearest one the Incubator was in the vicinity of, furthest than the other two.

"I can still hear that guy ramblin' 'bout space from over here... He's!- really annoying!"
"You'll get used to it." The blue one conversed with green.

The Incubator still tilted its head in morbid curiosity, they can speak, and they sure share the same patterns as human consciousness as Incubators can detect. It then swam into distance where the green small little robot can see.

"My my, is something bothering you?" It asked, its tone with a sweet, innocent voice of that of a little boy.
"Wh-?!" Green was surprised to see a weird white cat before him, so surprised he couldn't even finish to say "What?"

"There must be something bothering you. May I ask why?" Kyubey tilted its head yet again, its smile retaining.
"Uh, i'm stuck with these two dudes in the back. They piss me off, especially the space one." He explained, noticing Kyubey's lack of context in the situation.

"-The yellow one."

"I see, the earth is just within your sight right? Do you wish to return?"
"Hell yeah! Who wouldn't? Everyone else wishes to go home rather than- being stuck here or whatever!" He exclaimed, feeling an ounce of hope, yet still a bit confused whether if this alien he's speaking to would really assist him in returning. What is it gonna do? Travel a thousand miles into the earth's atmosphere with him?

Kyubey however, had a different intention.

"I was thinking of an experiment." It said, its ears piqued up.
"Would you like to make a contract with me, and become a magical girl?" Its infamous quote.

"Huh?! Like, those pansy little things they air on kids' TV?"
"I wouldn't say a solid no, but they serve a great purpose in this world! Say, you yearn for a thrilling adventure right?" The Incubator tilted its head like it's a habit for it.
"Yeah! how'd you know?" He spoke in slight excitement, wondering if he'll really accept Kyubey's offer.
"It's too perplexing to explain it fully, so a summarized version is that I am a supernatural entity, inanimate things are easy to see through, so for a robot whose programming is adventure, it's quite easy. But since your AI has advanced enough to the point of simulating real human sentience, it can be quite difficult to see through one's ulterior motives."

"Wow, quite the chatterbox."

"I am just merely explaining the truth, please take it into consideration." Kyubey responded, still floating as its tail flicked upwards.
"Alrighty, what have you got?" He spoke, preparing for the better, or the worst. The Incubator proceeds to swim closer to the green robot.

"I can grant any wish, even if its massive or small, I can grant anything you desire. In return, you will be assigned with the duty of fighting curses that spread into this world. Think of it as your own wonderful dangerous adventure!"
"Oh! So that's what I'm talking about!" He was piqued to hear the Incubator's deal, his chassis nodding as his handle raised upwards.

"So, will you make a contract with me and be the first ever artificial magical girl?"

"-Magical boy. Magical robot or, magical core even! I ain't fighting manly if I go underneath THAT title!" He complained, yet he was boasting about how he'll be a saviour in this world, defeat evil and even get all the ladies! Like a wet dream to an adventurer.

"Quick! Tell me your wish!" Kyubey rushed the robot,

"Grant me this! I wish to return to earth this instant and give me your exciting adventure! Just. For. Me..." He softened his tone at the end of his sentence, creating a chilling atmosphere. The two other robots looked in his direction, noticing a bright, green glow radiating like one of the stars.

"What's going on with him?"
"It's-! It's a star! A green star!-"
"No it isn't, stars can't be green- God will you just quit it with your rambling?! This is why that guy kept complaining and complaining about you!" The blue robot argued, their focus away from the Adventure Core who's in the process of becoming the first ever, Magical Robot.

"Heh heh, this too can be the best thing ever in my life. Alongside being with a pretty woman before, that is." He rambled,
"Hey, where are we going?" The Adventure Core and Kyubey were slowly getting pulled into the earth.

"I made it so that you're prone to earth's gravitational pull. Normally you'll just orbit around the earth but you'll be landing somewhere safely!"

"Safely? What do you mean 'safely'?! We're going too fast!—" He yelled as they started to enter the earth's atmosphere.
"I assure you we'll be fine, since you've already made a contract with me, you'll be durable enough to survive this fall!"

"Uh, I hope so." He responded sarcastically as the Incubator latched onto his chassis to brace for impact...
