Chapter 1: A Psychic, Medium, Fortune Teller, and Angel

Chapter Text

Kusuo sighed. As usual, his life was anything but quiet. As he took a bite of coffee jelly ordered at Café Mami, he looked back as Aiura Mikoto burst in, her face covered in urgency. What a fun way to spend his first day of summer break.

“Kusuo! I just saw a huge disturbance that’s going to happen!” she exclaimed, pointing dramatically at the crystal ball in her hand. “There’s going to be a dimensional rift opening soon, and you’re the cause for it!”

Kusuo’s face looked at her blankly. Great. Another headache he didn’t ask for.

Toritsuka Reita and Teruhashi Kokomi walked into the cafe. “Dimensional rift? Aiura, what does this mean?” Toritsuka was carrying her multiple bags that Kusuo assumed others had bought for her. “Like, something with the universe will be tampered with. Another dimension will go to us. At least that’s what I got from my predictions.” Aiura lazily explained.

“A rift in the dimensions!? My life is so boring right now, as long as it’s not too crazy I’m in!! Ever since you told…” Toritsuka started to ramble, the timing perfect as Saiki had just started to mentally shut him out.

“Actually, he is right,” Aiura muttered “Ever since you told everyone about your psychic abilities, life has been kinda bland lately…” They weren’t wrong. Kusuo believed it’s probably why the writers had dragged it on for so long. Once he had told them, there were no more entertaining episodes, hence why his show ended. The only thing to revive it would be a sequel or a crossover…

A crossover. Before Kusuo could think any further, the ground beneath their feet began to shimmer and glow. He glanced at Aiura, who seemed to be yelling something but it wasn’t audible. In the flash of a blinding light, the group of 4 were sucked into a cliche swirling vortex. Kusuo could never catch a break, huh?

_

Kusuo woke up with a loud pop. He looked around, and they seemed to be in Japan still, looking like they were at a different school rather than their own. Kusuo wasn’t hurt, and he was able to effortlessly get up, unlike Toritsuka and Aiura, who had managed to both faceplant into the dirt. Teruhashi somehow landed like a runaway model.

“Hey, are you okay!?” A green-haired boy ran to them, as three other people, around the same age followed him.

“Where… are we?” Aiura glanced at the four teens, who seemed to be their age and attending the school they were currently at. “Oh, we must be in another universe! How could I have not guessed that!? Look at these people— they have such strong auras!!” She pointed to the multiple students around her. One had a spiky, orange aura with faint explosions, and the red-haired one beside him had an aura similar to Hairo’s.

The green-haired boy blinked in confusion. “Um, excuse me, are you all okay? You fell from the sky! Do any of you have concussions? You seem to be talking nonsense, unless, seeing auras is your quirk! That must be so cool, what does mine look like? I wonder what Kacchan’s or Uraraka’s aura looks like… Kacchan’s must be something extreme, or…”

Toritsuka and Aiura had both the same reaction and thought at the same time. ‘He’s like Akechi…’

Kusuo quickly realized the dynamics of this universe, and where they were. ‘Aiura is right. In this universe, powers are normal and called quirks. Act like you belong, I will figure something out.’ He told his 3 friends telepathically.

Before anyone could get through to the greenette, who’s name seemed to be Midoriya based on his friends’ attempt at snapping him out of his muttering, a spiky-haired blonde boy appeared. “Hey, Deku, who are these extras??”

“Extras!?” Toritsuka shrieked. “You know, I’m a powerful medium!”

The aggressive blonde raised an eyebrow. “Medium? Is that your quirk?”

“Quirk?? What’s that?” Aiura asked, before quickly realizing what Kusuo had just told them and started to panic “I mean, yes! That’s his quirk! Pretty lame, isn’t it? I can predict the future and read auras!”

“I didn’t ask you.” He stated, with a glare on his face. That almost made Kusuo laugh. “What are you talking about!? Yes you did, you asshole!”

“Haah!? Who are you calling an asshole!? Are you even U.A. students!? What are you doing on the school property!? Do you know who I am!?”

The group watched as the two screamed at each other. Kusuo knew Aiura wouldn’t take that insult, right to her face.

“Bakugo! Stop it!” Someone with similar spiky hair said as he tried to pull the blonde away from Aiura.

Kusuo watched as Midoriya and the passionate red-haired boy attempt to separate the two, then Teruhashi spoke up.

“Oh, what an… intense atmosphere. Surely, we can settle this misunderstanding peacefully, don’t you think?” Teruhashi said, her beauty radiating like sunlight, drawing all eyes to her presence. She tilted her head just enough for the wind to perfectly move her hair away from her face. ‘Don’t worry, Saiki, I’ll handle this. I bet that even in this world, they can’t resist me’ She thought to him, internally smirking. When she first found out about his powers, there were many failed attempts at hiding her thoughts, but eventually she just accepted it.

Everyone, including the angry blonde setting off explosions, froze. Kusuo sighed. A long series of “Oh, wow”s were heard from everyone around them.

Aiura chuckled, sensing the chaotic energy in the air. “Looks like she’s got her own kind of quirk here. More powerful than about half the people we’ve seen so far.” She whispered to him

Kusuo didn’t reply, but she was indeed correct. He noticed how everyone was behaving differently, exactly as they did in his world. He stared at Bakugo, who looked like he was about to kill someone just out of sheer frustration from not being able to form a coherent insult.

Midoriya’s face turned beet red, and he stammered “Uh, y-yes! That’s a great idea! W-we can talk this out!”

The brown-haired girl with the pink cheeks cringed in slight jealousy at his reaction, but also blushed a little and blinked in awe. “Wow… You’re stunning. Are you a model or something?”

Even the boy with split colored hair, who hadn’t had any reaction this entire time, found himself staring. “She’s…different.” He muttered under his breath

Bakugo’s glare faltered. He opened his mouth to yell something, but quickly closed it. His hands twitched, unable to stop starring at the girl.

“U-Um, shall we introduce ourselves and take you to the principal to sort this out? My name is Tenya Iida!” The blue-haired boy with glasses exclaimed, being the first to get out of her trance.

“Katsuki Bakugo.” Bakugo mumbled, the quietest anyone has ever heard him since they had met him.

‘I’ve never seen Kacchan this shy before, I wonder what he’s thinking. This girl is very beautiful, but I’ve never seen him react like this. He hasn’t really talked to me since we fought All Might, I get why but…’ As Kusuo heard Izuku's fast-paced thoughts, he was grateful that he had brought his telepathy-blocking ring with him, just in case. He didn’t know if they had this material in this universe. “O-Oh! My name is Izuku Midoriya!”

The rest of the group around them started to introduce themselves, and they attracted more and more people.

Kusuo sighed, again. This was going to be unbearable.
