Chapter Text
Melissa walked up to Zack who was sitting on the bleachers in the gym. She sat down next to him and looked towards the stage. Amanda and Bradley were on it arguing. It was over the prompt for drama class that day. They had to discuss something using Shakespeare. Some phrases heard from Amanda were “Away with it, you three-inch fool”, “I am sick when I do look upon thee”, and “I must tell you friendly in your ear, sell when you can, you are not for all markets.”. Bradley had faltered only for a second before replying with “If thou wilt needs marry, marry a fool; for wise men know well enough what monsters you make of them”, “Thou art a boil, a plague sore, an embossed carbuncle in my corrupted blood.”, and ending with “Your brain is as dry as the remained biscuit after voyage”.
The conversation had ended and everyone had clapped. Amanda waved and walked off the stage and over to Melissa and Zack. Bradley had gone backstage, and soon after, a support beam fell and broke through the stage floor. A “Sorry, my bad!” could be heard from backstage as well. Melissa, Zack, and Amanda had walked away as the teachers had started to clear others away from the damage.
