Date night for Ricky and Gyuvin isn't always a fancy dinner or shopping trips to different stores to spoil each other. Sometimes, it’s laying down on the couch buried under 20 blankets with a new drama to watch. Tonight, the rest of their group mates were gone, and Gyuvin was in charge of the snacks while Ricky was in charge of choosing the show.
Gyuvin was plating their popcorn and drinks at the counter while looking over to his boyfriend’s huffs on the couch as he scrolled up and down to pick the perfect show. How lucky he is to be achieving his dream, traveling the world to perform for thousands of people, being loved by so many, with his soulmate right by his side. Idol life isn't perfect, but Gyuvin finds comfort that the person he trained with, his best friend, his lovelicky, is always there for him and understands just how he feels.
Gyuvin grabs the snacks he prepared and heads over to finally start their much needed date night. He sets down the bowl and eased his arms around Ricky’s body, fitting like two perfect puzzle pieces. “What are we watching tonight, kitty?” Gyuvin asked into Ricky's arms.
“Let's rewatch Hotel del Luna,” he answered with playfully pleading eyes. Gyuvin has rewatched Hotel del Luna with Ricky so many times that he could probably recite all sixteen episodes by heart. Nonetheless, he can never resist his lovelicky’s sweet smile, and nods his head. Ricky beamed as he went ahead to press play. It doesn't matter if he has to watch the same show for the rest of time, just being with his Ricky is the best way to live life for Gyuvin.
Only a few minutes had passed before he noticed Ricky’s eyes slowly blinking, then ultimately falling asleep. Gyuvin softly smiled as he delicately played with his boyfriend’s soft black hair. As the TV glowed on Ricky’s face, Gyuvin took his time to admire just how perfect his lover was. The mole on his face, his catlike smile, his long eyelashes, no camera could ever capture just how beautiful his Ricky was.
“My sleepy kitty,” Gyuvin whispered before also dozing off, Hotel del Luna still playing in the background, to be finished another night.
