Spencer stood at the pearly gates giving Dex his most princely glare. Dex frowned, wondering what Spencer’s problem was this time. What? Did he take Cameron Webber’s place or something?
“What? I just got here and I’m not in the mood, Spencer. Just let me in,” Dex rolled his eyes.
“We don’t accept girlfriend stealing errand boys up here,” Spencer frowned, his dark eyes looking Dex up and down in derision. “Shouldn’t you be down below, with my great uncle and psychotic ex?”
“Nope. I’m supposed to be up here. But feel free to pay them a visit.”
“Shut up. Errand boy.”
“I will. Oh, do you know about the new guy in Trina’s life? His name is Kai. Cute, tall, football player, can throw a punch…”
“Shut up! I died for my Trina! How did you die? Alone in a hospital bed, that’s how.”
“Really? Do you really want to go there? Better in a hospital bed. At least they could find my body and I’m not floating and rotting away in the English channel.”
“Hey, the big guy said for you two to stop fighting and get Dex signed in. Don’t make me get Courtney, Spencer. Your mother thinks the best of you. What would she say if she knew you were giving the new guy a hard time?” Sam McCall walked up behind Spencer and tapped her foot as she looked at her cousin with impatience. “Well, what are you waiting for? Move!”
“Alright, alright. Follow me, Errand Boy. Oh, and welcome to heaven. May it help all of us.”
