Work Text:
'Where am I?' was all he thought as he tried moving. He was in a box or coffin somewhere, probably a box. A metal one, to be precise, since hitting it hasn't been helpful.
The only time his "hands" could come in handy, and they were useless.
Figures.
He didn't even want them in the first place. His actual ones were long gone because of a "treatment" of his creator.
At least the drugs they gave him during the removal process helped ease the pain. The only time he took stuff that was given to him.
To make him like the man he was cloned from. They always forced him to be like him.
When he was created they only called him Gorgan
He knew some stuff about the man he was cloned from. His name was Ferrus Mannus, nickname was Gorgan, a forge master, had metal hands, killed in battle, and brother to Creator's father.
To be honest, he couldn't see the similarity between them. Creator's father had white hair, purple eyes, serpent like body with wings, and Ferrus was just a man with metal hands.
He was glad of one story they told of him. Of how he survived on sand, corpses and other junk in the desert when he was a child. It helped him not go hungry when he refused the "food" he was given.
He knew that it was made with a "surprise" inside it and he didn't want any of it.
A jolt from outside the box cut his train of thought. Looks like wherever he is stopped. Probably a ship, there would've been more jolts if it was a wheeled vehicle.
He hoped the new place he's being transported to is a bit better than his previous one.
Seeing all the many headless corpses of him made him wanted to run away anyway.
The ones that failed caused they didn't agree with the demon lord. He didn't want that to happen to him so he agreed to anything he said to him. To make sure he survived another day
As the light filled his eyes for a bit, He took a deep breath of fresh air. Finally, free from the cramped box.
Stretching while his eyes adjusted to this new place, he saw something in the corner of his eyes.
It looked like a skeleton but taller and silver with a green glow around some places. With each step it took, metal clanged on the floor.
'This thing is a robot, an advanced one to be sure, but I thought we destroyed a.i so long ago' he thought, as he slowly backed away from this thing.
"Guessing you didn't take any drugs for this trip" it said, though he had no idea where its speaker was.
"Almost a perfect specimen, but Bile was never good at recreating them, and it took him many tries to get my employee right."
"LOU COME HERE I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU" it screamed as it looks into the hallways
In just a couple of minutes a man came running by. "I'm sorry sir I spent all night restoring a art piece and I....I..." The man paused when he looked into Gorgan's face.
Gorgan couldn't help but to stay still for a bit too, He look so close to creator's father minus the demonic parts of him.
"Well just don't stand there. Think of it as a thank you gift for doing your job this past year. You better appreciate it. I gave Fabius more of my collection for him."
The robot's metal seemed to move a bit to make a stern expression. It was uncanny to his eyes. He didn't know how Lou could be around it.
"T-t-thank you sir, I'm grateful for it" Lou walk closer to him grabbing his hand.
Gorgan could feel his heart pounding. Lou was a beautiful person up close.
"Well go show him your room he's yours now" the robot said as he left the room, mumbling in a language Gorgan didn't understand.
"Yes, come with me. Your quarters will be in my room." Lou grabbed his hand again. Such warmth was beautiful in Gorgan's mind.
As they walked to the quarters. He looked around this mysterious place.
People, animals, battles themselves frozen in time. Videos playing on loop. Jewelry, outfits, technology, weapons, toys, doodles, and notes all in place to show the previous owner's life.
When they got to the room, he could see it was a bit small but comfortable enough for the both of them.
The walls were covered in many art pieces with lights hanging around. Shelves filled with books he never seemed before.
"Sorry if it's messy. I didn't expect anyone else other than my boss to come here," Lou said as he played with his hair nervously.
"Don't worry, I've seen way worse in my old place… Way worse" he shuddered at the memories of mysterious fluids he didn't want to know on the floors he used to walk around in..
"Do you have a name". He stood there for a bit. He was never given a name for himself, just Ferrus or Gorgan.
"No sadly, I never got one for myself, was focusing on other things so I never had the time". Lou looked at him with pity.
"Well, how about Chrysaor? He was Medusa's son. Born from her headless corpse," Lou paused for a sec. "You'll get to have a connection with him and be your own person,"
"Sounds nice" Chrysaor said as he smiled at Lou.
"Tell me about this place it seems so odd" Lou just smiled and grabbed his hand "You gonna love this place it has tons of old artifacts around the universe, stuff that hasn't existed for a million years."
Chrysaor just smiled as Lou dragged him to see animals.
It felt nice being with him. As long as they were together he felt like they both would be safe from the horrors around them.
